I looked at W. Angels picture and Now I see why you drew the wings the way you did! Strange angle does give it a similar shape to what you did.

First please keep in mind that this is only on the costumes Had we been provided with AT, powersets, small background it might have changed the evaluation. In this case all we had is a name and even that counted for me. Some good costume did not make my top 5 because I thought the name did not match the picture.

Another thing you may want to look at is the wings .


Wings have bones at the leading edge and so that part is mostly made of straight sections it is actually the back edge that is round

The wings ar also great at giving a feel for movement.

Look here I doodled something to try ans explain what I mean.

Sound to me that it is autocorrecting the picture. it is "seeing" the low saturation on the colors so it boosts them. Probably also is correcting the tint. If there are any check the options on your scanning program.

Archennemies are not necessarly the opposite of the heros ( Joker is not the opposite of batman)

They are however generally intertwined with the past of the hero. Therefore having a bit more background on WP would help come up with something credible.

This is my end of an art trade I did with spinnomania. As usuall he had his end of it done long ago and was waiting after mine. After posting the initial rough pencils I did not post any WIP because this being my first attemp a digital painting I was not sure if I was going to stick with it or just say *censored* it and just do the usuall ink and colors.

By far this is the piece that took me the most time to do but I think it was worth it.

Since this is my first digital painting any hints you have for the next one (if ever there is one ) will be appreciated.
