I don't post much. Never have. But I have been here since pre-order beta. IMO yes, NCSoft is the enemy. As of now they are my mortal enemies. They are Korean businessmen and they don't really give a rat's as* about a primarilly American played game that is not producing large profits for the corporation. Especially when so many of us are perfectly happy to go on paying for an NCSoft product such as GW and GW2. I WILL NEVER spend another penny on an NCSoft product. Does this hurt them? No, of course not, I fully realize my little flyspeck of money meant nothing to them in the grand scheme of business. But it makes me fell better anyway. If enough people felt the way I do then the company might at least have felt it. No more than a flea bite of course, but at least it would made them scratch the itch.
So all of you folks that wish to keep feeding your corporate overlords feel free to do so but please don't insult me by telling me that the people responsible for breaking the best toy I've ever had in 61 yrs of life are not my enemies. -
Smart *** comments are the reason I don't post very often. Let me explain a couple of things, I'm a 60 year old retired man so the opinions of people I think of as children don't really matter a lot to me. I've been here as long as any of you whether I've been posting or not and my opinions and concerns are as valid as anyone here's. If you wish to impress someone with your wit go play with your peers and go mock someone else kid. Oh yeah, save the get off my lawn comments too.
This game is basically my hobby and it upsets me when I can't play. I'm well aware of the maintenence schedule and all of the stated caveats about downtime. It doesn't lessen the impact it has on me and if I wish to vent about it I will. -
Well, it's scheduled for 6 hrs. That's generally something big. Plus now as I type they've shut us down for Thursday maintenance. WTH devs? Should I just quit and come back tomorrow or what
I post very very rarely. Normally I'm content to let the rest of you deal with posting. But dammit, these guys are pissing me off an awful lot lately. -
Seriously? A 6 hour publish this late in the week?
I swear I thought they'd learned not to do this stuff.
Sigh. -
They've learned not to do a release on a Thursday before a holiday weekend. The last one was bad, so very bad. I'd guess two more weeks at the very least.

As you can see I don't often post but this has me annoyed enough to draw me out. We are NOT overpowered for the incarnate stuff, as several people have pointed out already.
If you don't like what the incarnate system does to OLD content crank up the difficulty and unslot the things.
Don't come to the forums whining for a nerf.
I've heard my fill of nerfherding in 7+ yrs and I'm tired of it. If you're gonna keep it up just ask the devs to neuter us and be done with it. Then when you're suddenly feeling powerless you can whine about that and I'll move on to something else. Geez! -
And down they go again, With a promise of more information on the forums. Funny, I don't see any information anywhere. Really beginning to think I should just quit playing for a week every time they have a new release.

Enable hide useful salvage refuses to stay turned on no matter how many times I turn it on and hit apply now. The very next time I start to sell something called for in one of my recipes the warning pops back up. Most annoying.

NO. No-drop and no-trade items drove me out of Everquest and WoW because I realized that no matter how much time I put in and no matter how much money I accumulated I could not obtain the best of the high end items without belonging to a raiding guild. I do not have the mindset to belong to one of those organizations as I am simply too much of a loose cannon. Those things are of absolutely no benefit to a game in my opinion. So just NO. A thousand times NO.

The invention tables in the Vanguard base allow co-op team members to craft inventions without leaving a co-op zone and getting auto-kicked from their team. No such amenity exists in Cimerora. It would be nice if we could step back into the Club from Cimerora and craft inventions in the same manner. An invention table or two in the big room with the store would be convenient.

Been calling my little animated alter egos toons since EverQuest all those years ago, and the word mob (to me) means a single enemy for that matter, since it was the abbreviation for "mobile object" from the old MuD days. To all the younger players these days it has it's meaning as a mob of bad guys. I can't see that it's all that important who says what though, since this isn't exactly rocket science we're dealing with here. It's a game... lighten up... have fun for crying out loud.
