I always thought it would be interesting to make accuracy vary with a toon's velocity and range.
I have never liked the movement speed penalty that is applied when you attack, but I understand that was added to prevent running by at high speed, firing off a melee attack, then superspeeding out of range.
I've also never liked how you can be right next to someone and miss them with your axe.
So the idea would be, if you are very still, you can be extremely accurate. (think sniper at long range). Once you start moving around, your accuracy decreases. If you are moving really fast, you would be lucky to hit anything. -
I wondered if anyone would remember...
I didn't even have any toons on Champion until this year. But I remember way back when reading the Champion forums religiously every day just to keep up with the latest drama.
So entertaining. -
This seems like a nice accomplishment, but what about the daytime raiders?
How will they get their Hammi-O's? -
Is this a known issue?
When running Tina arcs in PI, it appears that the AV get *double* the difficulty setting.
For example, i'm level 45 running at +3 level. The mobs are level 48 - but the AV shows up as level 52. He's +7, no way our team is going to take him down.
If you drop to +2, mobs are 47 - AV shows up as 50.
if you set to +1, mobs are 46 - AV is level 48.
Very frustrating - if you set the difficulty for the mobs, the AV is unbeatable. If you set it so you can beat the AV, then the mobs are too easy.
I also remember this happened on a bank mission - we were running it at +4, and the AV showed up as +8 to us - which we couldn't finish.
Anyone else noticed this? -
Is there a particular mission arc in RWZ that anyone would recommend for keeping for drop farming or running friends through?
I'm on an elec/shields brute.
I vaguely remember hearing about a mission in RWZ that was particularly good, but I have no idea who gave it, or which one it was. -
Jumping up and down on a defeated Freak boss will prevent them from rezzing.

I still have a 800 or so level 45 recharge IOs I made for last summer's 2XP.
Although lately the price has been very good, even without double XP. Craft for about 80K each, sell for 500K each.
The only thing I don't like is you can't list them in stacks. -
Thanks for all the responses. They confirmed what I was thinking, and it is great to know others were successful with it.
The nice thing about the nice damage burst with all the procs is that I can lead with seeds of confusion, then quickly do a fair amount of damage with roots so that I get the bulk of the xp when they kill each other.
And throwing 4 sets of seeds at once is great overkill, we almost always get every single target in a spawn confused, bosses included.
We've got enough SB that we can have seeds up every spawn, so we move pretty fast. -
Some friends and are leveling up 4 plant/kin trollers that run together. We are currently level 23-25 ish.
I noticed that the Plant AoE immob has a fairly quick recharge. I think 8 sec unenhanced.
I already have it slotted with 2 damage procs (the immob proc, and the targeted AoE proc) and I picked up a third proc today (a lvl 31 PvP recipe proc - Javelin something I think?)
Can this AoE immob generate decent damage when spammed repeatedly by a kin user? Are procs the right way to go? Should I be doing something else entirely?
Any advice would be appreciated. -

Aaaaaaaaand another fool and his money are soon parted.
Just because someone actually bought it, doesn't make your asking price any less ridiculous... it just makes them dumb

I disagree.
Suppose I had posted the recipe for 1,000 inf, with the goal being to sell it to someone that could use it quickly. It would have sold immediately, to one of the 30 or so "low-ball" bids that were placed to (I presume) buy recipes at low prices and flip them.
The result in this case would have been that the recipe ended up in the possession of a "flipper", and *they* would have sold it for a very high price. No good for me (I don't make any inf) and not good for someone that simply wants to slot in their toon (it just gets relisted at a higher price)
Now consider the other extreme. Suppose I priced it at 500 million, clearly outside the range of the other bids. It would have languished for weeks (maybe months, maybe even forever). It certainly would not have been any value to me, it would have been tying up a market slot. And it wouldn't provide value to anyone that wanted to use it, because it hadn't sold.
So then the mythical "fair" price, that is neither ridiculous on my part for listing, and neither dumb on the part of the buyer for paying, is somewhere in between 1,000 inf and 500 million inf.
But where is that fair price? How can I both provide utility for me ( I get inf) and utility for the buyer (they get to slot a recipe they want).
The solution I have personally decided to use is to "price for a week" - that is, to list the recipe at a high enough price that it is likely to remain listed for at least 3 days, but will almost certainly sell within 7 days.
Granted, it's more art than science, more guesswork than anything else, but it makes me feel as if I have gotten maximum utility out of the sale, while at the same time provided the "availability" of the recipe to the largest possible audience of potential buyers. That is, everyone that logs on within 7 days has the opportunity to view the listing and apply their own utility function to the price they are willing to pay.
I personally would much rather have recipes available at a high price, than no recipes available at all. At least then, as a buyer, I can make a decision whether to purchase or not.
So, I don't think my listing price was ridiculous at all, and I certainly don't think the buyer was dumb. And I hope, whoever they are, they have many happy days of increased recovery rate by the recipe they purchased today. -
Just sold for 100 million, was on the BM for about 8 hours

the OP's asking price is ridiculous

I agree. It should have been 150 million. -
Just posted on the BM with a list price of 98,101,101

Thanks! Yes, I was getting stuck at only being able to generate level 53s, but I had been in missions that had spawned at 54.
I just could not figure out how to do it. -
I cant' figure it out

I gotta say thanks to TopDoc too, I got introduced to the SuperTeam concept with the TankMages SG, and it was a blast to play.
Since then, I've formed an all-kinetic corruptor superteam (team teleport in, multiple fulcrum shifts, and 2 or 3 nukes will pretty much destroy anything!) and just recently started another all-corruptor superteam with some friends:
1 Fire/Dark Corruptor
1 Fire/Cold Domination Corruptor
1 Dark/Sonic Corruptor
1 Dark/Cold Domination Corruptor
1 Sonic/Kinetic Corruptor
1 Fire/Sonic Corruptor
1 Ice/Kinetic Corruptor
1 Ice/Dark Corruptor
The buffs and debuffs stack very nicely across these toons, and we turned our mission setting to relentless as soon as we left the tutorial.
These teams are great fun, so thanks TopDoc for your influence. I probably would have left the game by now if not for the SuperTeams. -
This sounds like a lot of fun, i'd like to be part of this too.
