1. I am certianly glad this is helping people out. I still use these tactics at higher levels when running Invinc missions

Quick (and dumb) question, is there a limit on how many chat channels one can join? I have alts all over every server, and I'm trying to customize chat tabs for each server (like Victory Badges and Victory Monsters on my Victory toons and Infinity Monster and inf badge seekers on infinity toons etc.)

But i've found I'm only able to join 5 channels. Is this the case or am I doing something wrong? If this is the limit, does anyone know of a workaround other than quiting and joining channels for each server evertime I switch toons?

Many thanks!

5 is the limit IG. It's not just you and it's for your global name, not for each toon.
3. Channel: Gameamp.com (/chanjoin Gameamp.com)

Purpose: For Gameamp.com visitors and forums goers. We are all helpful and friendly.

My second question is:

Does Anyone know if their is a Gaurdian Server Badge Hunting Channel? If not, whom would be interested in making/joining one?

Take care and thanks in advance for the assist.

5. Primary - Any
Secondary - Ninjitsu

The usage of a stalker can be very frustrating sometimes if powers and strategy are not used properly. Now this tip/guide is specific to Ninjitsu stalkers as a strategic display of cunning and power. This will be discussing the helpfulness of your secondary powers of Caltrops and Hide while also being combined with your primary powers of Assassin Strike, Placate, and whatever whoop [censored] attacks/defense you have. This is a hit and run tactic.

A stalker has a high damage output, but has the shortcomings of having very low hit points. So what's a stalker to do? Well as a stalker you need to level the playing field. When you go into a mission, use the walls and caltrops to the best of your advantage. The way to do this is pick an enemy to attack. Most times that enemy will have at least one, if not more, additional enemies standing near him that will open full bore on you when you become un-hidden, usually right after you use Assassin Strike. Now here's where you get to fight dirty.

Before attacking, go find the nearest wall or door to hide behind. The first illustration below shows where to hide if you have a wall, while the second illustration show if you have a door. Now you will throw caltrops at the corner of the wall on the side nearest to the enemy. If it's a door, throw them in the doorway closest to enemies. Next you will now go attack an enemy and kill him, and if you are still in good health you will attack the other enemy(ies). If not run around to where you first began [or where the illustration shows You (in green)]. The enemies will follow you until they hit caltrops. Now here is where you need to be patient. Caltrops has a built in fear effect that will make enemies run away from them. What happens when you are on the other side already and they hit the caltrops from the side opposite of you? You got it; they run away from you now. In fact, 90% of the time they will run so far away from you, that they will "reset" back to their original position; because they aren't human and will lose interest in you. By this time, you are healed at full life and hidden again and able to repeat the action. In this way, you can effectively run missions with little worry of debt. The great thing about this is you can solo speakeasy missions, or bank rob missions where you break into the vault, while set on any difficulty level. Personally, I am set at Vicious (mid-level range) at level 15. Since getting Caltrops at level 10, I have found this strategy to work 100% of the time. It also works for my Assault Rifle/Devices blaster (whom I play like a stalker). Even on a team it works great for allowing team members to attack the vault door unharmed, due to the caltrops not killing the enemies, therefore not spawning more, but at the same time keeping them busy. I hope you all benefit from these guides/tips. Remember, it all depends on how your game play style is. Mine is a mix of Gorilla warfare patience tactics.

P.S.

I am sorry about the links out, but for some reason CoH boards wouldn't accept the Img links.
6. Im in aggreeance. I am going to be playing both games...no no beta yet jsut saying Im going to be on both...so I think it would be incredibly unchallenging, and unfair, if on Day 1 of prestige being earned...viola..the Super Hero SG's already suddenly have a massive base and uber killing mode. How exaclty would that be fair when I go to raid my hero SG with my villian SG? It wouldn't so therefore this IS good news...so stop whining (no offense intended) like everyone else always does over something that is obviously a good thing.
7. Stalemate...I haven't seen your stuff since you first had it out...but man o man I love the quality of life fixes you did. Awesome work man....thanks for doing it for us lazy and non know how to people

Guide to Guides

are there any guides for blasters, controllers, defenders, peacebringers, or warshades that have all the numbers for damage/buffs yet? I know BuffyASummers has done some on the tankers and scrappers...so that shows it can be done. But has it?
9. Does anyone have any numbers crunched for the powers and hold times/specs sorta like the ones for the tank and scrapper

10. Great Guide. Just a suggestion for you. Most people when they do badges go zone by zone. It would help if your badges guide did a zone by zone listing, instead of all of them being clumped up in a larger more chaotic alphabetical listing. Reason I mention this is due to the fact that a lot of players (such as myself) don't know the exact name of a badge. Just a suggestion though, and still a good guide.
11. hmmodd it never gave me an option...it just gave me the shipping and handling bill...and asked for my adress...hope it comes here
12. So here is the un-ecperienced internet buying gamers question. If I ordered it online, will it be shipped to my house or do I have to visit the store nearest me to receive it. I ask because I don't think there is an EB games within 50 miles of me and I don't have transportation to get to it.

Er, oh, I thought you were looking in the GameStop computer and wanting to find the premium disc SKU.

You see, even premium items like the CoV preorder disc has a listing and release date in our GameStop computers. So what I mean is, the CoV Preorder disc went from having a release date to being Active, meaning it's shipped. I got my info from the GameStop computer, I didn't preorder through the website. While the website is a seperate entity from the retail stores, I'd guess you'll see your preorder box in a week or two.

(This is barring the act-of-God that there was a mistake and the warehouse doesn't really have the disc, and it was a big slip up on GameStop's part. This is very, very rare to happen, but it has happened.)

I am guessing your our double agent deep cover for Gamestop...keep x-mitting that awesome info (heh)

Is there a way to only pay a downpayment on the EB site? I looked through it and it looks like if you order off the site, you have to pay it all up front.

[/ QUOTE ]

The only thing that I saw on the entire site was a full payment only option. Thats what I ended up doing, but as some people here have metioned, maybe you only pay for the shipping and handling fee...and later when it's actually recieved, the game fee. Not sure on that though.

And
hmyeeah about that, I'm going to need you to push your desk a little closer to the wall (Then snatches that pretty red stapler)
14. Cantatas (sorry if mispelled), Thanks for answering my earlier question. I was kind of worrid about shelling out 200+ just to play the game like I had to to be able to play CoH (had an outdated Video Card), and on another note...anyone know where I can buy some cheap [censored] RAM??? Thanks again all

So I am highly PC illiterate so I am going to ask this Barney style. If my PC runs CoH just fine, then will it be able to handle CoV? Just asking now this way I can prepare myself for if I need to go out and spend another 200 frikking dollars on my Vid Card just to get the game playing (like I had to when I got CoH). Thanks for you help.

Just reposting it since no one gave an answer the first time I asked.

17. <ul type="square"> Supergroup: WHO (World Healers Organization)
<ul type="square"> Website: Healers Union WHO is a sub-division of Healers Union
<ul type="square"> Leaders or Recruting Officers: Shawna of Death, Song of Mind, Steel Agent
<ul type="square"> Method of Contact: PM Here or In-game E-mail (info is provided in signature)
Group Description: Supergroup was started some time ago as a healer only supergroup. However, times have changed and recently we became a coalition with the supergroups Healers Union and Healers Union Bravo. After talks with the leaders of HU/HUB it was decided upon by Steel Agent and I to make WHO a sub-branch of HU/HUB. At the moment WHO still consists of quite a few defenders and controllers, however we have had a recent influx of members of all archetypes and levels. We would like active members and if your absent for more than two weeks without logging on, we will have to remove you from the group. Only exception for that is if you have informed one of the members of the group about a prolonged absense so that they can inform one of the leaders. Reason for this is because some of the group members, such as myself, are in the military. Personally, I am on the hours of 4PM - 12AM Eastern Daylight Time (EDT)or 2000-2800 Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) and usually broadcast in whatever zone I am in at that moment about our group recruiting others. On that note, our group members have many various time schedules ranging from all over the world. There are no gaurantees that someone will be on at all times, but I am trying to remedy that by recruiting at odd hours of the morning, day, and night. Our supergroup only ask that you speak in coalition chat so that all the supergroups connected wo us and with us can hear whats going on. Frequently people that are on ask to be teamed up with each other for missions, hunting, hanging out, contests for influence, and basically just to have fun and enjoy each other's company. We do accept all ages into the group without qualms, but we do have a wide range of experienced mature players already installed into the group. Our group colors are green and blue for health and endurance. Right now, it is not required to be in supergroup colors when grouped with other supergroup members, but it is always promotional of the group, but that's your choice. There are no required team times or team ups. As long as you get on and play often we want you with us. We completely understand that you have a real life and are fully accommodating of that fact.
