Welcome, Glad to see new faces.
Now to the nuts and bolts
Not to sound like a broken record, but I would love a Moon Zone, and a space station.
both are in CoH lore. lets flesh them out.
Also The Hollows is way too easy now. before it was fun. a challenge to get to a few missions. Now more than half the time I'm traveling to a new contact or a new mission my new character is several levels higher than all the MOB's around me. now its a cakewalk. don't like it at all. increase the levels around Julius back to what they used to be. -
Quote:Pohsyb? What's the deal?Has anyone thought of consulting NCsoft on this and collaborating? Would it not be good publicity for the game itself if one of the villians chosen was a currently playing villain in CoV? (and not one just created for this)
Just askingAs I currently have a corrupter named Pyromaniac on Guardian with a great back story who would be awesome for this

The Sound of Music - In a decisive intellectual coup the director will not make it a musical.
Forbidden Planet I dont care who makes it, it will suck. Robbie will look like a transformer. Altaira will be a ****. The special effects will be better but at the cost of acting. -
Quote:I believe you are correct. It's intellectual property of NCSoft.I'm pretty sure that the EULA states that once you make a toon in game, it becomes the property of NCSoft. In short, if you want to keep the character yours and your copyright, then don't make it in game.
We all have fertile minds. We'll think of something. -
You guys make me so upset. Next time you have a thread about Star Trek send me a PM. Even if it is about that incredibly stupid movie.

How many people found the warnings I put in the cards?

Protector a place where your childhood dreams can come true, its located just south of Pinnacle and north of Triumph. Its a place you can come to relax, and be alone, or a place where you can immerse yourself among others. Its a place where you can be all you ever wanted. Its a place where you can have life long friends you will never meet. Its a place where you can tell others about your fears, your worries, your hopes and your dreams. Its a family, where everyone can be the black sheep, or the white knight and sometimes both. Protector is a place where you can be accepted no matter who you are. Its Home.

Quote:This. Really don't know enough nor care enough about the rest of what you posted.I've played this game longer than I have any other MMO, and there are a lot of things I like about this game, but PvP isn't one of them.
Truthfully, I think a lot of the problems PvP has here, goes back to some design decisions States made back in the day, that the current staff has to live with, and try to work around. And its really too late to do much about it now anyway.
Truth be told I got soured on PvP years back and I now stay the heck out of all PvP zones. All the broken promises when PvP first came out, PvP will not effect PvE being prominent among them, and the lousy fixes Toggle dropping for instance.
Right now I don't care if they made PvP perfect. I will not participate, too many bad memories around it. Playing retoggle the tank is one.
I hope PvP dies a slow and excruciatingly painful death. -
Miles Church was raised within Humanities last foothold on a devastated Earth, The Enclave. The Enclave was surrounded by an impenetrable force field developed by the Crey Conglomeration in conjunction with High level Tsoo-Thorn Alliance Sorcerers. The Shield was the first successful use of MysTec the Unification of High Level Magic and Quantum Science. Thousands of Heroes and Tsoo-Thorn Alliance lost their lives buying the time needed for the Shield to come on line. The Rikti were stopped at the Shield, Humanity was Safe. Using the new Technology armor was created for an all out offensive. The Golden War began. Captain Church earned the title Ace on earth, and Golden Ace on the Rikti home world. The Rikti facing total annihilation sent an elite squadron back in time to correct the first Rikti Invasion. Miles followed them back in time and stopped them, but was stranded with his armor powered down and no way to recharge it. Miles is now striving to prevent his future from happening.

Quote:I've wondered for some time now why there's no Wentworths in PI. We spend an awful lot of time there in the upper levels, especially since I19.
When you need to sell, you have to get to a zone that has a WW. That means:- Take the ferry
- Use an O-Portal
- Take a Base Teleporter
- Use the WW teleporter (if you have it)
/signed
While it is possible to get and use a WW teleporter, it would be much more convenient to have a wents in PI. It's one of the major zones, and should have one. IMO of course. -
Quote:I've always known it would be difficult to do. I got a reply from... Castle? Years back on the subject of car surfing. Heck it might have been pohsyb. On the other hand that's been said for years. Maybe it's time they actually considered it. If for no other reason than for finally letting me ride that damn blimp.Adding the ability to inflict damage to moving vehicles isn't directly related to the physics engine making it impossible to ride on moving objects. The two have no direct relation to each other. Actually, the more i think about it the harder it seems to me to implement damage and KB for vehicles in a way that works how players would want it to work, so adding that capability might require an overhaul or replacement of the game engine anyway.

The OP actually hit on something that has been a pet peeve of mine for years.
Cars and Trucks should cause damage when they hit you. If you're dumb enough to fight in the street, Watch for Cars.
Also we should have lawyers in the game. If a car or building gets damaged because of your heroics or villainy Bindum Bendum and Burnum should send you a summons, you go to court, and get fined, or win the case. If you lose and refuse to pay you get a lean put on your SG/VG. -
Happy New Years. May it be filled with fun and pleasure.
...
And a Moon Zone.
/had to say it. -
Well a new year is upon us, and yes this is my blatant New Years Moon Zone thread bump.
Happy New Year everyone. Remember you can do anything you set your mind to. So reach for the stars.
Make that reach for the Moon. It seems more appropriate for this thread.
Thanks for the kind words Geronimo
The words the workers used to say hinted at that. I am not sure any longer as I couldn't find one worker in the area last time I was there. -
I predict that they will hint at a Moon Zone. But we will not see it in 2011, or 2012, or 2013...
