My guess is that VEATs are, or become, Destined Ones, as I know there are some CoV missions that are build around the Destined One idea

A few emotes seem to be a bit wacky right now - like the Warriors being menaced by Freaks in Talos are doing the brawling emote instead of the fear one - which actually makes them look even weaker, as the Freaks are still just standing there trash-talking
