Limitations, nerfs, removal, for what? A bunch of farmers and powerlvl'ers? What about the trashtalkers, the noobs, the afk'ers, the 'im uber and u not' idiots, that i have to team with?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Aren't they all usually the same?

I love this game and want to see what it is capable of, but I must admit, CO is looking shiny, and frankly, I dont believe the "great things to come" rubbish any more, though if they want to prove me wrong and actually TELL us what is coming, I will eat my hat.

I'm not sure this approach will get more info

  4. If we didn't already know they were fraudsters, you might almost think they'd just been overwhelmed by the amount of refunds they have to work through.

I think the devs have probably been a bit taken by suirprise by some of the MA exploits that are being used right now - the beta testing was mostly to make sure the actual MA system worked, so I think most of the testers were looking for bugs rather than exploits.

Maybe the attitude of some people in the thread makes them think it'd not really be worth posting?

    [/ QUOTE ]

This coming from a sycophant who hasnt posted anything interesting since launch

    [/ QUOTE ]

I do post interesting stuff from time to time - but I'm not a crazy elephant

Time to get those ticket badges.

the majority of players are American and, well, probably not that clever. There, I said it!

    [/ QUOTE ]

    And said it wrongly

    [/ QUOTE ]

That's right, you said it wrongly. I think what you mean to say is, "All americans are fat, stupid and think that France is a third world nation".

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Fixed.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Thanks

    [/ QUOTE ]

They also habitually butcher the English language (which, lets face it, is a wee bit of a [lady-of-negotiable-affection] already). And they're bad at Maths too. HINT: the guy with the most votes is meant to WIN...

And they invented the RIAA, which should be considered grounds for a lengthy public flogging.

Also, despite what they might have you believe, their national pasttime is actually played with Lawyers (which, incidentally, France abolished in 1789) instead of bats.

I thought it was saving Europe?

The devs correctly understand that this game is adversley affected by excess farming.

[/ QUOTE ]However, they're banning arcs simply because they have the word farm in the title. So the only thing farmers need to do to not get their arcs banned is to not label them as such. And guess who gets hurt by that?

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Emos?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Don't they get hurt by themselves?

I think healing, damage, mez, debt and mentor badges should count.
Also reverse the test and published defeat badges.
50000 in test mode is weird(lolposi) and does not reward people playing published arcs.
    Regular defeats unsigned though

    [/ QUOTE ]

I don't think it's a bad thing to encourage rigorous testing of one's arc and rewarding such with a badge. Of course, it is possible to be farmed, I suppose.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    You bet it is

Thats a bugger, I had one planned too.......cheerleader sluts just dont look right

    [/ QUOTE ]

And everyone else has beaten you to them...

I too, was planning on using Prisoners - I'd love to know the reason why they were removed. I'm guessing exploit again and the scorched earth removal method is easier than actually trying to fix the problem.

    [/ QUOTE ]

They're doing both - they've siad they're removing exploits when they find them, with the intention of fixing them and adding them back in later.

Dark Astoria I'm thinking you mean the fog, but thats not really a massive zone change, thats just a switch on/off :P

    [/ QUOTE ]

No, I don't mean the fog.

I mean give us a few story arcs set in Dark Astoria which detail out exactly what happened, with an attempt to fix it (which fails, of course).

The look of the zone is fine, although I'd love the buildings and vehicles to actually look like they belong (20's architecture - it looked horrible when the fog was accidentally removed a while ago)

    [/ QUOTE ]

It needs Bloody Bay style gothic buildings, with the same narrow, winding streets - it also needs a hole knocked in one of the war walls to let the sea in a bit to create an area of swampy land for voodoo rituals - and it also needs mist spirits that fade in and out of the fog to attack you

You think he's just sitting there with his feet up, smoking an enormous cigar and pressing F5 every few hours or so?

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Who knows?

The lack of information was poor to say the least.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Well, he probably hadn't finished his cigar
