Redwood City (Trion Network) and Mountain View (Paragon Studios) are about 13 miles apart just south of San Fransisco.

    @Golden_Girl

My wife has made a simple goodbye post to let all the people she knows from this game know how much she appreciates the good times she has had teaming with them.

Please do not reduce this thread to your usual level of pyramid quotes and inane postings.

    Thank you.

Previous experience shows that a number of people who leave come back at some point in the future - so saying "see you in an Issue or two" is a valid response
  3. Open your badge window, and under the "Veteran" section, you'll see all your vet bagdes listed - there are two of each badge, one plain, one with "claim item" on it - click the claim item button, and you'll either get the item if it's a single choice one, or be given a choice if there's more than one to claim.
Once you've done that, the "claim item" version of the badge will disappear, leaving only the plain one.

Paragon City is being moved to make way for the Circle of Thorns? What happened, did the maze of tunnels under the city finally cave in?

    But more seriously - congratulations!

While playing the other night a certain clockwork whipped me. I called out for a paladin gank and.....nothing, I miss getting a 3 paladin fight and a mass of heroes coming down to Kings to show him who's boss.

    [/ QUOTE ]

No badges Do you even get merit rewards for it now?

    [/ QUOTE ]

You should get 2 per Paladin, so if all 3 are spawned, you'll get 6 for beating them up.

I've been trying to learn that for a few months now, but I find it hard to make patterns and symbols on clothes - do you have any advice for that?

The Cityscape: (possibly not viable with the current engine)
As a zones security rating improves, so workmen move in and start repairing. PPD start patrolling etc. If a zone stays in its current level for a period of time, the area starts to look better. rubble is cleared from an area and building starts (scaffolding goes up ) eventually a building is erected and has a chance to become a shop or some other utility.

    Go check out Recluse's Victory

the current game engine can handle morphing scenery and lighting changes,a s well as chaning mobs - so tweaking the engine would just make this even easier to add to the game.

I'd also like them to add GMs or some sort of event to each zone, and failing to tackle it would result in that zone losing services for a while - like if the Paladin in Kings Row wasn't dealt with, the WW there would shut down until he was defeated.
As well as that, the scenery would morph to reflect the GM rampage.

    MA Competition

I try not to swear in RL, and it's pretty easy to to avoid it in game, as you have to type the letters, rather than just come out with a spoken word.

Dream on GG, we'll be getting power customization before animated hair.

    [/ QUOTE ]

That's true - but it doesn't mean we'll never get animated hair
  14. [ QUOTE ]

I hope we never ever get animated hair!

We will - one day, we will - I know it
  15. MA = Mission Architect, which is the architct system.
AE = Architect Entertainment, which is the in-game title for it.
Both seem to be used to mean the same things though - you'll see people asking for AE teams as well as MA teams, and the buildings are called both MA buildings and AE buildings, although MA refering to the actual system seems to be used way more than AE when talking about the mechanics of it.

I think it's just a generic city location, not an actual zone.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I agree it's nowhere found ingame. However it does look like there's atlas' statue on the right hand side

    [/ QUOTE ]
I don't see Atlas at all in that.

My immediate answer was Steel Canyon, purely from the density of high rise structures. If and when there is a major graphics overhaul. That is what I'd expect Steel Canyon to look like.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    It's right there!

ok, you can only realy see a globe, but I haven't seen a globe anywhere other than on Atlas' shoulders

    [/ QUOTE ]

Are you sure it's not just someone playing with the chest slider?
  18. Maybe they fear your power and wrath?
  19. The second one seems more likely
  20. In that case, Happy Birthday to Mongoose and Rooks
  21. Well, they could make it that if you hit the cap while on an arc, you'd still get xp until you exited the mission then.

Remove the AE building from Atlas.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I think they shopuld keep it - but add an XP cap to each AE building to match the zones they're in - any level would still earn Inf and drops, but the XP would stop once you reached the level the zone caps at.
You could still level 1-50 only using the AE system, but you'd at least have to see other zones along the way.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Atlas is 1-6.

A team doing most MA arcs in Atlas AE would go well past level 6, leaving them to complete the MA TF whilst getting no XP.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Then move to the AE building in Kings Row
