Quote:They also gave us the Statue of Liberty, plus there's the whole Louisiana Purchase too.And don't forget that Gilbert du Motier, marquis de Lafayette had helped americans on being independant

France has helped us a lot in ouir history, and we've also helped them - and it's stupid to treat one recent disagreement as if it's somehow the defining event of our relationship. -

Quote:That would require a lot of extra work - plus, it'd mean newer players would miss out on some really good stuff.Dynamic storylines with a beginning, a middle, and an end. I don't want to be fighting Reichsman for the next ten years. I want to actually save Salamanca. I want the Calvin Scot task force to be the model for stories that cause permanent evolutionary change in the game backstory and environment.
I'd rather they added new stuff, rather than taking away the old stuff. -
Quote:I'll take it as you going into the office to work on giving our avatars moving hair, becuase you just couldn't seem to relax until this task was done. This post, btw, is being made on a Saturday night at 9:03 pm. Take that as you will.
How close am I to the truth?

I think a coffee machine would be ok - no need to clutter up the room too much

I've only ever met a GM twice, and both times they've been really helpful.I'm not sure why one would behave the way you said he behaved...

Then they should open it up to guys too, and change the name to something like "magic hat" or magician hat" so it sounds more unisex.

Quote:PK, I hate to tell you this, but "busted" is pretty much a direct synonym for "caught" in America too, at least where I'm from, and I'm pretty sure it's widespread. The police can bust you, and the owner of the cat can bust it for eating...whatever the heck that is.
It's hardly obscure slang. In fact, YOUR definition is a new one on me.
So you're busting him on busted? -

Noobs don't exist - they're just inexperienced veterans

Quote:I never said I did it while teamingSaid the person with 28,000 posts. But if you want to use multitasking as an excuse go right on ahead. I'm sure the team your running with in game is willing to stop every minute or so just so you can post...right...If you're going to lie, make sure its backed up with the fact that you're either soloing/bored in game, or doing nothing in front of a computer screen.

Right now, I'm not in the game, and am listening to my iPod with Yahoo Messenger open.
In a short while, I'll load the game, and maybe run a TF or missions, or maybe just chat in-game too

We still need animated hair, animated faces, more realistic bust shapes, more detailed hands and also moving waists, plus the ability to walk, and an easier way for us to sit down on objects.

Quote:There's multitasking and then there's addiction. The point is that you still return to the forums and post away. I'm sure you do more posting than ; Reading, or chatting. Clearly you're post number is an indicator of that.
So totally not true
I usually post a few times in the morning, then I go out for the day - and then I post a bit again in the evening when I log in and play at the same time - often while also chatting or reading or talking on the telphone
The forums are fun, but RL has more variety
-
The servers are hardly ever down when I play, so I'm usually doing something else

It also comes with some costume change emotes, just like the Magic booster pack, which are very cool.

It's not a kilt it's a manskirt - learn to call it its proper name

Back Alley Brawler: http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showt...51#post2089251 Totally called it.

The French and German server forums are in the French and German sections of the forum - the English section only lists the English language servers.
