Ok then, about Praetoria - it's possible we might not exist in a mirror world - our parents might never have met, for example.
Although, the letter we find in the ITF suggests that one of the possibilitites to the writer's identity is that it might be an alternative or ourselves - but if that's true, Praetoria would have some connection to the Coming Storm then... -

The second one = Hydra?
The third one = werewolf?
The fourth one = Unseelie Court?
The fifth one = female vampire/demon?
And the accolade looks like it has some sort of tattered old flag or banner on it...

As it's in the past on our world, I think they're ancestors rather than mirrors - so not every signature hero or villain would have had an ancestor in the Cimerora area

Seriously, take a look at the community digest. There's been no mod posts of ANY kind in the EU lounge for weeks and weeks... Nada.. Hardly any in the general discussion channel either...

One interesting thing with the alternative timeline they might do is to remove both world wars - Tyrant would already have taken over the world before they started - that'd mean that although Praetoria would be ruled by a dictator, they wouldn't have experienced the suffering and loss of life that our world did, so he could point out that a world wide superpowered dictatorship was actually more peaceful than our world and the heroes who are supposed to protect it.
I think it'd make for a cool "temptaion" storyline for heroes on their way to becoming villains, by showing them that Tyrant's methods were the "best" solution to problems like war - in fact, he could even use that to recruit fallen heroes to help his planned invasion - once they were convinced of his argument, it'd make sense for them to help him take over our world and bring "peace", just like he did in Praetoria. -

Another question: has it been confirmed that Dual Pistols and Demon Summoning will be coming in GR? Or is it a possibility we'll be seeing them before that? -
At the Comic-Con dev panel, they said that not everything is a mirror - some characters will always be evil, and some will always be good.
So someone like Mako might still be evil even in Praetoria - although, that doesn't mean he'd join the Praetorians - he might still be opposed to them for his own reasons, even though he was still evil.
We might even have to help him with his goals, if it'll help us against Tyrant, who's the main threat. -

Actually, as BAB has mentioned working on a Helfire Whip animation, there's a tiny chance that there might be a whip/rope/tentacle/vine/cable power set being created, all under the heading of "chain" - but there's quite a bit bigger chance that the Hellfire Whip is something to do with Demon Summoning

Why limit yourself to just a single type of boss though? More variety makes for a bigger challenge. Make a custom enemy group with Dark Ring Mistresses, Malta Gunslingers, Master Illusionists, and Fake Nems.
Heck, add in the PPD Lieutenants that run Tactics, the Midnight Squad Lts. with Dispersion Bubble, and Knives of Artemis minions. Then you get full XP!
