Well, you can be underwater without having to get wet - an underwater zone doesn't have to mean that you'll actually be out in the water.
  3. Should we all nerdrage at another undocumented change?

My guess would be that it's a bug
  7. I think that the problem with making it a self buff is that it doesn't really fit with the idea behind the power.

And I was talking about in-.game too

Castle mentioned it at the Pocket D meet and greet:

"Hover board" type flight is something I was experimenting with recently. It'd take some code work, but it is possible. It's just a matter of figuring out if/when/how we would introduce such a thing, if at all.

Castle has already been testing out that idea.
  10. If some player shave already lost mails, I thnik it might be a good idea to roll back the deleting by 24/48 hours, just to give people time to unload their saved stuff.
  11. Well, no what your opinion of the change is, I think that we can at least all agree that in this case, the devs acted promptly.

Well, I don't think the suggestion was actually aimed at you - just at the dev team in general - so you're very welcome to pass it on to the UI people - the more choices players have, the better - so if they can find a way to let us decline or accept buffs via the options menu, I think it'd be awesome.
  13. It'd be simpler just to have a decline/accept all buffs setting.

I'd be ok with them adding some subtle ones - but only after they'd added aniamted hair, expressive faces, blinking eyes, more detailed hands, more realistic bust shapes, and turning at the waist instead of gliding on your feet in a circle.
I want our avatars to look as realistic as possible, but there needs to be an order of prioities these things are done in

Well, you can win - but only with the ultimate victory - which is a choice in the options menu to disable or enable all buffs - it'd make everyone happy

I honestly don't think these are the only things you guys did to AE with this patch.
What are some of the things that you've noticed since the patch went live?

I think that's the best solution until they can add some way of accepting or declining buffs in the options menu.

It is no longer possible to create an un-completeable mission with defendable objects.
Was that an exploit, or just a way that missions could be innocently broken?

Fixed a bug that allowed players to get mission completion awards multiple times.
    An alternative levelling path?

Lady Gray Task Force: Reduced the Green Mitos’ hold protection from magnitude 53 to magnitude 10.
A very welcome fix - I'd been avoiding the LGTF since the "weakened" Hamidon started taking steroids

Fixed a bug that caused only Wolf Spider minions to count towards the Spider Smasher badge.
That's been around so long I thought it was WAI

The drink emote will no longer cause female characters to slide back and forth.
I use that emote quite often, but I've never seen that happen to me.

Faultline – The Safeguard mission in this zone now correctly starts at a PPD van instead of a cave entrance.

Positron Task Force Part 1: The final mission door is now located in trams instead of an office building.
I'm glad they're fixing little things like these - although some Radio missions still give strange doors

    Quote:
Katie Hannon Task Force – in the “Defeat Mary MacComber” mission, the successive waves attacks did not increase in difficulty as intended. This has been fixed.
I'm sure I've been on runs where the waves have been higher and higher levels...

Anyway, a very nice patch with some good QOL fixes in it.

With demo editing, you don't actually need to do that - you can record any fight, and then edit in or out whatever avatars you like.

    Yes, seriously

The mission doesn't say anything about breaking into the building, so saying we have to break in is reading too much into it

Just what is this "next level" the game is going to? It shouldnt really include the fact that the game does well on character customisation.

Of course, i would have accepted that had some of the vidoc talked about the mutant pack. We know that pack has caused much dev discussion and it would be interesting to get an insight into that.
The video is "Part One" and is called "Prelude to Going Rogue" - it's just setting the expansion in context, and the following videos will look deeper into GR.
