Well, you can be underwater without having to get wet - an underwater zone doesn't have to mean that you'll actually be out in the water.
-
Should we all nerdrage at another undocumented change?

Welcome to the game and the forums, IrishBrewed

Also, there are no noobs - only inexperienced veterans

I think that the problem with making it a self buff is that it doesn't really fit with the idea behind the power.

Quote:And I was talking about in-.game tooI think they were talking about in game, GG, not real life. What Castle tinkers with in his garage at home is his own business.

Castle mentioned it at the Pocket D meet and greet:
Quote:"Hover board" type flight is something I was experimenting with recently. It'd take some code work, but it is possible. It's just a matter of figuring out if/when/how we would introduce such a thing, if at all. -

If some player shave already lost mails, I thnik it might be a good idea to roll back the deleting by 24/48 hours, just to give people time to unload their saved stuff.
-
Well, no what your opinion of the change is, I think that we can at least all agree that in this case, the devs acted promptly.
-
Quote:Well, I don't think the suggestion was actually aimed at you - just at the dev team in general - so you're very welcome to pass it on to the UI people - the more choices players have, the better - so if they can find a way to let us decline or accept buffs via the options menu, I think it'd be awesome.People saying, "This choice should be something in the options menu" I neither agree nor disagree on this. That's for the UI team to decide, not me. In any case, that particular task is not one that I can undertake, so telling me doesn't really help beyond my passing it along to the powers that be.

It'd be simpler just to have a decline/accept all buffs setting.

I'd be ok with them adding some subtle ones - but only after they'd added aniamted hair, expressive faces, blinking eyes, more detailed hands, more realistic bust shapes, and turning at the waist instead of gliding on your feet in a circle.
I want our avatars to look as realistic as possible, but there needs to be an order of prioities these things are done in

Quote:Well, you can win - but only with the ultimate victory - which is a choice in the options menu to disable or enable all buffs - it'd make everyone happyThis is a situation I cannot win with. I removed the prompt; people complained until I was told to put it back. Now it's back, a completely different set of people get to complain.

Quote:I think that's the best solution until they can add some way of accepting or declining buffs in the options menu.Players may once again choose to not accept or decline the Mystic Fortune buff power.
Was that an exploit, or just a way that missions could be innocently broken?Quote:It is no longer possible to create an un-completeable mission with defendable objects.
An alternative levelling path?Quote:Fixed a bug that allowed players to get mission completion awards multiple times.
A very welcome fix - I'd been avoiding the LGTF since the "weakened" Hamidon started taking steroidsQuote:Lady Gray Task Force: Reduced the Green Mitos hold protection from magnitude 53 to magnitude 10.
That's been around so long I thought it was WAIQuote:Fixed a bug that caused only Wolf Spider minions to count towards the Spider Smasher badge.
I use that emote quite often, but I've never seen that happen to me.Quote:The drink emote will no longer cause female characters to slide back and forth.
I'm glad they're fixing little things like these - although some Radio missions still give strange doorsQuote:Faultline The Safeguard mission in this zone now correctly starts at a PPD van instead of a cave entrance.
Positron Task Force Part 1: The final mission door is now located in trams instead of an office building.
I'm sure I've been on runs where the waves have been higher and higher levels...Quote:Katie Hannon Task Force in the Defeat Mary MacComber mission, the successive waves attacks did not increase in difficulty as intended. This has been fixed.
Anyway, a very nice patch with some good QOL fixes in it. -
With demo editing, you don't actually need to do that - you can record any fight, and then edit in or out whatever avatars you like.

Quote:The video is "Part One" and is called "Prelude to Going Rogue" - it's just setting the expansion in context, and the following videos will look deeper into GR.I didnt really get much out of this video. Things like wings and so on are old news. I would much rather hear some genuine discussion of the expansion and the thought process that has gone into it.
Just what is this "next level" the game is going to? It shouldnt really include the fact that the game does well on character customisation.
Of course, i would have accepted that had some of the vidoc talked about the mutant pack. We know that pack has caused much dev discussion and it would be interesting to get an insight into that.
