Quote:I guess I'm just not that much of a geek thenYou would have to be living under a rock as a geek to not heard of Scott Pilgrim in the last 5 years. Buzz about it has been all over the internet and comic scene for years and it was promoted heavily this summer in the gaming scene as well with the DLC game.

Maybe if they'd promoted it better, it might not have been a box office disaster? -

They actually mentioned they were working on more expansions in a recent interview, but from the context I think they meant Issues, not actual boxed expansions.

You shouldn't be - it has just about zero penetration into the mainstream geekosphere, which is itself a niche market - so it's only appealing to a niche within a niche, and the exec who decide to throw 60 million bucks at something that weak with such a tiny chance of even breaking even will most likely be looking for another job.
I'm not a hardcore geek, but I do geeky things - I play MMOs, I read comics, I'm a Star Wars fangurl - but I'd never heard of this thing until I saw a thread about it here.
I asked my geeky friends if they'd heard of - the anser was "no" - I even asked my non-geeky friends - still "no".
I found some examples from the source material - it was crushingly unfunny.
I found the trailer on YouTube - it was pants-on-head dumb.
It's simply not blockbuster material, which is why it's heading for box office bomb/summer disaster status afetr only one week in theaters. -

I'm on all the home servers too

The Union thing's just a sort of running joke from before the forums were merged

When a thread is almost a year old, it's probably better just to start a new one

As far as I know, the disappearing contacts feature can't be turned off.

Probably Atlas Park or Steel Canyon - Atlas because it's the starting zone, and Steel becuase if I lived in Paragon City I'd totally have an apartment there

Include all the booster pack costume parts in the costume creator, and have a little message pop up when you select one form a pack you don't own

Quote:Was it a Resistance sandwich, with a delicious filling of freedom between two slices of justifiable violence, or was it a loyalist sandwich, with one tiny sliver of humantiy crushed between two huge slices of oppresion?I know my old neighbor lady doesn't have anyone to talk to. So I went over and asked her how her day was.
The sandwich was great, thanks for asking.

I'm still interested to see what Tyrant's done with all the magic and magic users - especially as there don't seem to be a lot of them helping the Resistance, so he may have wiped them all out, or imprisoned them somewhere.

By thew way, as a first time player, your only option for the first avatar you make will be to be a Praetorian - but once you've completed the Praetorian tutorial, you'll be able to make another avatar as a Hero or a Villain - this is just the devs way of making sure new players see at least a bit of the new content first

Now this surely must be a Nemesis plot

Blast Furnace is a Rogue in one mission and a Vigilante in others. If you put the missions in order, characters like Frostfire and Miss Thystle ascend and Polar Shift decends. But really? It seems like everyone is shuffling all over the place. -
Union's real name is Onion, becuase it smells strongly and makes people cry.
