Quote:It's just another booster pack that you can buy from the NCSoft store on February 23rdare they going to sell this pack at least or is this another bad addition to the game like the incarnates stuff? I wont even be able to get online until 3 or 4 am and never any other time as i have always said.

We'd need to fight evil knights too, just to be traditional

Quote:I think the hisotircal accuracy of the clothing really doesn't matter in the context of what else is being done to that period in the storylineNot to mention that the roman unfiorms are all wrong for that timeframe.
(Hint: 5th century legionaires do not look like 1st century ones)
And if we get some medieval stuff, I'm also pretty sure that it won't be 100% accurate, but it'll look 100% accurate to almost everyone

Going by the I20 sneak peek, ambushes are a Praetorian way of life

Well, I'm pretty sure that this week must feel pretty groundhog-ish for Reichsman by now
-
There are just so many things they could do with a medieval zone - we could even fight a dragon as an Incarnate trial

If I could, I'd donate all my empty slots to the needy

Quote:I think the Grail would probably be an aspect of the Well too - so we'd be doing our own quest for itGiven that Excalibur was given to Hero 1, I'm pretty sure King Arthur would be a past version of him, specifically, A LITERAL PAST SELF or a direct descendant of king Arthur's line.

Quote:If you weren't wrong, you'd be right.Actually, what's more likely is someone created a new, throwaway account with some free GR trial time they had and changed the in-game global name to one that would fool people into thinking it was Sexy Jay.
The person in question was later reported by members of the CapeRadio channel to GMs, and the next night that global named was generic'ed (when a global name is changed everyone in the channel is sent a system message) with dozens of witnesses.
These riddles are guesses and falsehoods. Case closed.
As for the hints about the emdival stuf, if they go with a King Arthru angle, I wonder if they'd make him a past version of Marcus Cole, like Imperious, or a past version of Hero 1? The past Marcus Cole would fit with the way they've done Cimerora, but Hero 1's link to Excalibur and the Lady of the Lake would seem to make him a better fit. -

It's unlikely that I20 will evne be out in the next 2 months - so the chances of them starting to give an overview of I21 and I22 are pretty tinyQuote:There are still two months for things to change, to at least announce I21 or I22 plans that might cater to the player subsets that are currently not being addressed by I20 and indicate an inclusive, customization-friendly direction for CoH to go in.
All we know about them for now is that the devs seem to be planning on adding at least one Incarnate Trial with each new Issue. -
The fact that the Hamidon is linked to the Well of the Furies, and Tyrant is the apparent champion of the Well, plus the promise of more info on the Hamidon and I20 at PAX East next month makes me think that one of the Incarnate Trails might involve fighting the Praetorian Hamidon.

Quote:There'll be an army of Primal Earth Incarnates to protect Praetoria - which might be very useful if Tyrant decides to call in his big tentacled Incarnate friend if things start turning against himConsidering the resistance has no trouble wantonly detonating nukes, I don't find it a hard sell that in the revolution to take down a super powered mad man, one of those pylons MIGHT go out. I do hope some resistance members have trained themselves in the repair of advanced specialized machinery they would never use.

And Zeus slept with way more people than Aphrodite - the "immodest" goddesses are always way less promiscuous than the male gods.

I was planning to bump this to see if we can interpret his riddles a bit more clearly now that we know a little more about upcoming stuff

Quote:I played CoH for about 2 hours today - the first hour was helping to test the BAF Trail, and the 2nd hour was running two Kahn TFs, one in 37 minutes on Liberty, and one in 32 minutes on Triumph - both of them were PUGs - does that count as a day-long "exploitation" frenzy?Every single time they've tried to defeat exploiters they've failed miserably. The recent AE fiasco is an excellent case in point. You will *never* beat the ingenuity and perversity of farmers, so why try?
And so what if people get stuff within a day? It sounds like these players like UberGuy and Atomic Woman who claim to be on the up-and-up are able to get this stuff in a weekend anyway, earning 10 million Inf an hour and another 200 million by selling their amazotacular Purple drops at the market at the end of a fine day of Mt. Dew and Slim Jim-fueled gaming. Why penalize people who are playing the game as it's intended to be played by going after the 2% who are exploiting whatever.
