He seems very keen on making sure they all love him and don't think bad thoughts about him - why not take the Relcuse approach and just ignore them?

Quote:Going by the idea of levelling = passing of time, I think the Sutter TF is meant to happen before the Apex and Tin Mage TFs, so I think his Well-powered debuff is a result of his first invasion strike force being defeated in Skyway City. Not true. Both the Admiral Sutler task force, and even the Trials (where you don't even have to have an alpha unlocked to contribute) have non-incarnates fighting against Cole's forces. Apex and Tin Mage has Cole specifically utilizing the power of the Well to weaken his enemies, but this seems to be a limited effect.

Quote:I'd think that the Imperial March would be a better fit - it's such a loyalist bit of music

Quote:They do - the last thing Tyrant needs when trying to conquer the multiverse is to lose control of his power base - the entire state machine and loyalist activities are devoted to keeping the people repressed - if the opinion of the people didn't matter, Tyrant and his thugs wouldn't spend so much time and effort in trying to control it.Except this wasn't really an intelligence effort, it's a propaganda effort being conducted against a population whose opinions really don't matter.
Recluse is much more laid back about being seen as a moustache-twirler, but Tyrant seems to have a desperate need to convince people - and maybe himself too - that he's the "good" guy. -
Beta stress tests still can't replicate the kind of hammering the Incarnate content is getting on the live servers.

That was pretty epic - I logged in just in time to see Jay hip wiggling his way out

Quote:Which is what makes it such an awesome TFSeemed like they took Tin Mage TF can crossed it with Apex and made it lower level.

Although it does make the whole "you have to try and stop war breaking out" bit for the loyalists even sillier, as the moment they escape to Primal Earth at 20, they could get an invite to fight the invading Praetorians

Less than 4 days after it went live? Devs need to stop designing this endgame stuff for casual players.

Yes, the idea of a 50 needing help when faced with almost 150 new powers and their variations, 4 new Incarnate slots, 64 new trees for those slots, a few dozen new salvage components, a new multi-team grouping system and a couple of challenging new Trials is totally ridiculous.

Quote:I need something with almost zero visual effects, and a physical looking animationGG, you might want to consider a Partial Radial Void. (i THINK thats the 1) It is the Dark Energy PBAoE but adds HUGE kb
could be fun with MA... KB heavy as it already is, and adds another AoE

Quote:You can mix it up with the Shard-to-Thread conversion system too, especially as Shards now drop from sub-50 enemies - almost any activity you do as a 50 is now going to give you Shards.I gotta say I'm very much in your position. I agree, the trials are fun. Visually great, not a huge time commitment, and have a high-stakes, large-scale feel to them. But, like you, I am not sure if I am going to want grind them to death to get the components I need.

So you think that there might be some plotting going on at the Ouroboros Citadel?

There's a badge for defeating him without using the pacification grenades - and there's also one for completeing the trial without using the pacification grenades or the acid grenades.

I'm going to skip filling this slot until there's a more physical tree added to it - I'd like something to go with my MA attacks
