I'm not saying I wouldn't like a lot of things to be updated, but there's plenty of old stuff that looks perfectly fine and result in costumes that I get complimented on regularly and, more importantly, that I love!
Also, Sam, I hear ya and I think it is largely a case of happenstance.
I was recently around the Virtue Steel Canyon Icon, two nights in a row, and I just happened to see a number of outfits that made me do that second-take look further at them.
It's all out there...the good and the bad! -

Great advice, all! I was also thinking DP/Poison due to another voodoo character I had in that other game having DP attacks, dark attacks and some poison stuff.
I was thinking I could duplicate that with DP/Poison and then going Soul or Dark for PPP/APP. I just really love that breath but also the spitting attack.
However, using the PPP breath attacks would work well too. Hmm.
Thanks for that thread link, I had read it right after I posted then and then went AFK for a few hours. It didn't seem like a knock 'em dead combo, you're right. So maybe DP/Poison/Soul..
I'm doing the shield thing for yet another character named Mumbo Jumbo but Juju is (or can be) more of a modern voodoo priestess. And I'm doing the Mind/Poison for an entirely reptilian themed character (named Reptilia). At least one of these days, so many alts, so little time! -
I already have a male voodoo character who is a Dark/Dark Defender but I'm looking at making my female one (who has the name Juju) and wanted to do something a bit different since with her, I'm envisioning more of the snake details of voodoo.
So I was thinking.. Dark/Poison Corr?
Does that seem viable as well as thematic? Are there other combos out there? I'd love Necro/Poison but I. Can't. Stand. the fantasy looking pets for modern horror themes. I so wish we can swap them out for Zombie Apoc figures or even the Vahzilok. It pains me. :P -

I mean, we know there's a constant Halloween world from the historical documents titled "A Nightmare Before Christmas", so it'd be a great idea to maintain persistent holiday zones/events in this game.
I'd love a Halloween zone that was always up or maybe only opened after a successful zombie invasion or Deadly Apocalypse event there would be an hour or so that you can LFG to get into the current House of Horror zone.
(although I'd just love zone wide place based on the art and enemies in the House of Horror - good lord the art is SO impressive!) -

Sadly, I probably won't pick this pack up. Which makes me sort of weirdly anxious, as I've never before NOT bought a costume pack. But these pieces seem very limited for the most part, and the only ones I'm really interested in for their broad appeal (high collar, ascot, broach) seem bugged.
There's definitely some additional things that need adjustment (imo) but the blatant bugs are soon to be fixed. -

No you didn't. I'm just indirectly pointing out that there will probably -always- be some things in this game that will be "limited" within the confines of the holiday event system. I guess it's worth trying to see if they'll make it so that there's NO reason to play the game during the events to get all the holiday specific rewards, but I wouldn't count on it.

I would consider the fact that the Bats aura is purchasable in the Paragon Market a friendly compromise between the two. Believe it or not there really is no law against the Devs providing us rewards that can only be gained during limited holiday events. *shrugs*

I'd like to see the Murder of Crows Costume Change Emote added. Requiring 4 people to have a chance at this in a two week window, once a year, isn't ideal. I'd prefer to buy it. -
