I would love to see a guide that shows: Badges, Contacts – who give missions which give badges, temp powers from mayhem missions (or other missions) and anything else that can only be achieved at a specific level.

A list for heroes and for villains. What level you have to be for the contact and whether or not you can be malfactord.

Some examples:
The badge you can get in the training level.
For mayhem mission rewards you have to be in a specific level range. (Not sure if being malefactored can work).
The temp stealth powers from pvp missions.

I'm working on a webpage (javascript) that will do this for you. (So I can do it like 100 times, then pick then one I want. Because I'm a wimp). Should be done by Monday.

I'm thinking about doing it so you can do one level at a time - and save your results. But that feature will come later.

Another idea - why don't we all do this on the same server and have a random only SG /VG? The only problem is if you pick whether you'll be a hero of villain randomly. We'll have to split up.

A way to do power pools (This is how I like to do it)
Pick randomly how many you will take in advance 1 - 4.
Now pick each pool (in advance randomly)

Now simply add the power when they become available to your random things to pick from.


I like to roll everything up to 38 in advance. Here is one I rolled up that I will NOT be playing because you could not make a worse build if you tried.

Very nice. I thought I was the only one that played like that. This is how I play my */traps mm. Typically I wait until someone else starts the battle (I am a swishy after all). Then I just jump in there.

I like to keep my eye on everyone’s health even though I’m not a healer just so I know what’s going on. And I can always use tp foe to help someone who is about to die.

My build is mostly damage with some control. My first focus in on control. Then I look for an existing battle I can engage myself in. Or send my pets after that boss no one is tanking even though it will mean their death. (That’s why I have hasten after all – the best pet heal is a re-summons).

And if I think we are in for a wipe I will the first to run, yelling run! There’s no point in fighting a losing battle. That being said I put myself in harms way all of the time just because its more fun.

My longtime live-with GF doesn't play and therefore I can't obsesses as much as I would like to. She plays Nancy Drew games, that's about it.

But at lease she doesn't hate CoH/CoV like she hates WoW because there is killing of animals in that one.

In-between missions? I typically take about .5 hour per session to just solo street hunt because it's so fun as a stalker.

I also like to TP mobs on to the side of tall building and watch them fall. I don't think this does any damage, but it just goes with my nature.
