I want to make an AV soloing Claws Brute; however, I am torn between the choices of SR or Elec, even thought of DA, but not sure how that would pan out, it was more of an after thought. Anyone have a high claws/elec they have used to solo EB/AV's? I know SR works, I have seen the many videos. I was just thinking Elec b/c it has the comprable power to Quickness to get that recharge down and a heal, so I won't have to take Aid Self. Themeatically though I think SR works better of course, I can always tint powers now, overall DA would fit the best thematically, as my character is Dark Claw, I also looked breifly at WP, just not sure how that does AV Soloing. . . uhh, I feel Favre-ish.

Would you take Melt Armor instead of Fire Blast for AV soloing then?

Where would Fire Blast fit into a DPS attack Chain for DB? I have BF>attack Vitals combo>Fire Blast. Is this optimal?

Ha. . .ha. . .ha, your not funny. First of all, oh semantic one, you should know I was talking about the devs, even though I did not explicitly say, it was implied. Also, when I say bosses, it was not all bosses like old AE Farms, it was Boss surrounded my minions and LT's, which I did say. So, you can quit with the semantics, thanks.

I'm not trying to farm, so I'm not quite sure why that keeps coming up. Also, several posters have said that the enemies aren't any harder than outside. If that were the case then why were Maniac slammers changed in AE? They now have a fear and stun component. I have built the paramaters as such:
1. I am fighting Balder-Boss-DB/Inv, Hephestus-Boss-Stone/Stone, Hades-LT-Dark/Dark, and Apollo-Boss-Arch/FM. All on standard build.
2. Most are surruonded by Cimerorians, some COT Demons.
3.They are all even level con, except the bosses who are OJ, and the LT, yellow.
4. When fighting these same mobs in realworld situations, I DESTROY them.
5.I set each up to be just like what you'd have in regular missions. Death Mage-Dark/Dark-(Standard?) surrounded by COT Demons. Only diffrence is my "Death Mage" is a custom. Why are Customs so much harder? They must have been stealth buffed. . .I think that is the case. Not saying permanently, but for the time being, as a "bandaid fix" I think this is what happend.
Furthermore, what gives any of you who were "Nerd Rage Bashing" and basically bashing my opinion, who gave you the POWER to state your opinion and then call it right. IF you want to have a serious discussion, then you post your opinion, how you think yours is right, but you don't attack the persons' opinion that you think is wrong. Grow up and have an intellectual post of your opinon not an Ad hominem one. -
I got it to work now, but MY BEJEEZUS they made the MOBS rediculously hard. Fighting even level minions (5) and (1) LT, stomped my crack into the dirt. I just tested myself against outside lvl mobs in PI minions and was able to take on 5 machine minions from Nemisis faction and (2) LT's from the same faction. I was fighting Cims in my mission. I am REGEN, so dmg type and dmg mitigation is the same for both. Why DEVS? Why make AE not even playable for people who want to create fun stuff for their RP toons?
I give ya'll 2 Thumbs Down in the area of AE! -
I've made an Olypian Test for my Demi-God against a map full of my custom bosses. They are set to have minions and LT's around them, they are set at standard. So why am I not getting xp? What do you have to do to make this crappy AE work.

Could you elaborate on how the Slider diff works, or point me to that thread? Also, I heard there was a breakdown of what the enemies in AE are worth now compared to there Threat Level (mininon, LT, Boss) and what setting they are put on, can you explain this more or point me in that direction as well. Also, I am not lazy, it's my Search-Fu, to say it is anemic would be giving me credit.

I had an A/Traps in Test, and it seemed pretty good, although I didn't solo very much. I planned on going A/Kin corr when i16 went live. So we'll see how that works out, I think it will be pretty NICE.

Bug in Mid's.
It reads the chance for build up (+100% damage) on your Gaussian as a flat out bonus where it only goes off at a 5% chance (and hence should only apply 5% as the average damage bonus).
I was told this in another thread, and I was wondering how do you then figure out what damage you should be doing then if you do hit that 5% chance for 100% dmg buff? What would be the average I could figure for dmg buff when using Concentrate which is the power I have it in? My concentrate recharges every 26.2sec. Thanks. -
My build is a pure Farm AOE demon...the PvP sets I have in are geared for the PvE...you don't loose the bonuses that I put in for those PvP IO's in PvE. Hover over the sets and it will tell you.

This is a costly build, but it has almost 40% def to ranged, 16.7 on ROA recharge, almost perma Hasten. And WAY more damage than most I've seen here. My ROA is doing 1k + where others I see are doing around 800-900. My Blazing Arrow is doing 770ish dmg, that's more than some people's Ranged Shot. All my other attacks are doing huge damage as well. Finally, if all that wasn't good enough, I have almost 50% Resist to S/L before Force of Nature is turned on, capped when it's on. -
If I posted this somewhere else, I forgot I did so. Also, your choices there aren't for a Brute or Claws even. Although, I understand you were just putting AV solo builds. So, Claws/SR brute is the only viable Claws Brtue for AV soloing? What about the ELA or DA>?
