War Crow has Omega Level Clearence, which lets him access any information he wants... but Indigo and Crimson won't tell him anything.

    [/ QUOTE ]
    Omega Clearance is SERAPH specific.
    Indigo and Crimson aren't SERAPH...

But on the otherhand... That old lady on Striga gave my character her wedding bands to get used to the idea of her being a sorceress or witch, where as my character is a mage. So it makes no sense for her to have any of the fears of "magic" to aleviate.

Also, in the later Preatorian missions I saved a citizen/ghost from shades. And it helped me with "some magic"... Hello? Mage!
  2. Ok, Jess is allready in a better mood, and will mostlikely keep that mood through out the day.

As ussual, she'll be fairly quiet and let others do the talking.
Where as she would enjoy the pampering and company of friends.
  3. The day out will be held offscreen, so this is the place to discuss it

Yay! My tickets came this morning!!

Ghost, if you cancel now, I'm coming for you!

    [/ QUOTE ]
*takes hands off the cancelation button and tries hard to look inocent* What? Who said anything about canceling?
  5. [ QUOTE ]
I don't care what you write, so long as by the time it actually appears on the screen, you aren't alone because everyone else got bored waiting and left.

With this, the "I'm typing" afk message works wonders...

Untill people start to emote without hitting the enter first. So you get:
/e sighs "I am now making a statement that requires a lot of text and so I will do so."

Personally, I've started to adobt a slightly diferent style:
<sighs> I am now making a statement that requires a lot of text and so I will do so.

    While I still keep:
/e the description of my action outnumbers the of words in my speach when I say "ok, that's fine"

Also, I often (not always but often) hit enter before emoting.
  6. How would you slot your Dwarf?
Step by step, if you were to go in Dwarf most of the time.

For now, on my tri-form, I only have step1:
Res 3 slotted in the form.

I ws thinking of making step2 the adding of End recovery, or maybe some dmg in the attacks. Not sure, though. This is why I'm asking YOU for your thoughts on the mater.
  7. I've been able to pull in about 100k prestige in 2 or 3 days... but this was shile tedious monkey hunting during the bugged period when they gave more pres than Lts.
I rallied the other lvl50s and we made about 300k in those days. This was a nice boost, but it's never going to happen again.

And I believe the rent is 1% of the total value of the SG (base + inf) per 2 weeks. This sounds more like tax than rent
  8. If there still isn't such a channel, I would suggest making one and name it "UnionPvP", so you can use the following command line:
    /send unionpvp message

    instead of:
    /send "union pvp" message

I say we converge on the NC Soft stand and take over!

    Who brings the duckttape?

    [/ QUOTE ]

I'm sorry, but I'm not getting into anything which vaguely resembles bondage experiments involving Bridger. He's just not my type.

    [/ QUOTE ]
I'm sure we can find someone for you to tie up

  11. BTW How will us new commers recognize each others?

    I just had an idea.
If Quilla weares her tail, and we just gather around her?
    How does that sound?
(also gives a valid excuse to check out feminine behinds )
  12. Congrats Max.
Was a pleasure helping facilitate your lvlage

    Spring

I liked it, Z. Brought tears to my eyes, so well written.

    Just one thing...
I thought Zorielle was Hannah's biological mother, and that Hannah wasn't too fond of Tessa. Could have been old fiction, so Hannah could have reconsiled and accepted Tessa as a mother, but...
Could you clear this up a bit for poor confused little ol' me?

Cheer up Wordy, when the holidays approach it'll pick up again.

    [/ QUOTE ]

The holidays? Why would that make a difference?

    [/ QUOTE ]
    Taking a guess...
More people with free time, less work stress and such

    Is GG Dying?

I believe I fit in the "late old generation" of GG.

I believe I joined GG in about Juli or there abouts.
And of the "old" characters, Grav doesn't know them, really.
Nevermore: Knows him slightly, but mostly of him, there's a mutual respect.
WarCrow: Know him better than Nevermore, but not by much. But there's a good mutual respect and profecional courtesy, both he and Grav being mages.
Stargazer: I believe they said hi, could be mistaken, though.
Fusebox: Like Nevermore, but also more friendly due to assosiation with Jessica Kade and Ellie

Doctor Temporis: Grav considers him a friend.
Minako: Grav considers her mostly as a friend by assosiation: through Doc T an Ellie
    Liz: Same as Minako.

That said, Grav is like me: a bit daunted by crowds and tends to cling to "her" group, and meets new people mostly through them.
So I don't know most of the new characters well, and doubt I ever will. But then again, Grav is getting more used to most and that only helps socially.

    But yes.
GG is changing, and I think the main influance is Pocket D. It's a valid, and for some even more so, meeting place. Plus, villain characters can enter there opening that avenue also.

Is it a good thing? I don't know. It's changing with the people so overall, I'd wager it's a good thing. But it probably also means some people don't like the changes and have to deal with that by adabting or moving on.
    Such is life, I guess.
  16. [ QUOTE ]
I apologise for not phrasing my questions in the exact, precise way you like, Word. From now on, I'll be sure to not ask anything.

    [/ QUOTE ]
Knowing Wordy, I think he'll agree with me when I say: "Don't let me stop you from asking"

It's just that you ask on a very wide subject.
Let me make an example, and a few silly assumption to illustrate a point...
Let's say you want to know how... "Triangles relate to squares", but as you don't want to miss anything that's usefull, you ask: "how does geometry work"

I think that every time Wordy asked you what you were asking, he was asking you to narrow it down so he could give a direct and concrete answer, rather than a general one.

Because of my main character and her physical dimensions, I've been chat up, both IC and OOC.
The IC I didn't mind and found fun untill they got pushy, and the same goes for OOC, really...
The guy that tried to chat me up, was a sales rep, and went all over the country and abroad, practacly saying he'd be in my area sometime soon and asked if he could drop by... a bridge too far.
  17. I'll give it a go...

Piecing to gether, I think Atlas Park is where RC's apartment was, which was bombed/burned... oh wait, there was a decent amount of stuff left, so scratch that.

    "What you talkin' about RC?"

(edit from propper spelling to mimic Wordy's snake)
  18. WHAT!?
    No Super Sheep?

Otherwise an excilent paper, cuddos to everyone who submitted those articles and compiled the paper
  19. Ghost

    is it just me?

My PB is now lvl24 and I enjoy her almost as much as I do my controler. I admit this is because it's the same RP character, but still.
I teamed a lot with PBs on my way to 50 (Hi FFM) so I learned a bit about them that way... never really knew voids were THAT much of a pain solo... when held they're fairly harmless
  20. ok, in all fairnes...

    the Holodisplay
    costs: 97K
    gives controle: 25
    consumes energy: 15

    the Terminal
    costs: 30K
    gives controle: 10
    consumes energy: 10

    The Corner Terminal
    costs: 32K
    gives controle: 12
    consumes energy: 15

    The Database
    costs: 106K
    gives controle: 50
    consumes energy: 100

    ---------------------

So the Holodisplay is "better" than the terminals, as it's more enery efficient. But we don't have a shortage of energy, we have a shortage of controle, so I'm better off putting in 3 Terminals at lower cost, or save a little more and put in a Database

But the rest stands, the base has a lot of potential, but it's not implemented the best way. It feels half baked, to be honest.

Add to that the decorations... a lot of options, but most are catered around the "evil lair" principle, that or the corperate theme.
With a lot of effort, I've been able to make a "home" from wich my SG opperates, rather than a "base".

    [/ QUOTE ]

...surely you mean "Jij bent niet gemeen, je bent alleen maar zo getrokken"?

    [/ QUOTE ]

You doubt propper Dutch over Babelfish?

EDIT: Babelfish translated the "pulling" meaning of "drawn", hence the wrong translation
    As in:
Ben je nou helemaal van de pot gerukt?

    I concur! Dead animal FTW!

    Indeed!

(and I'm not too fond of spicey stuff either)

As an addendum, suggested by Quilla:

Also, to complete the 'Masquerade' illusion, it may be worth turning off your Chat-Box, and using just the speech bubbles.

    [/ QUOTE ]
I'll give it a go, as long as people aren't overly vocal in one bubble, I can't read that fast!
  24. Party tonight!

    Some sugestions:

Wear a costume, preferably with a mask, that your character doesn't ordinarily wear

Set in your Options under the "Reticle" header the "Player Name" to something else than "Show always", personally I'd go with "Show when selected"
This to make it more fun in trying to guess who's behind the mask.
  25. The envelope has a slight cream colour, and is luxurious to the touch.
There is no name on the envelope.
As you turn it you see the emblem of the Cirque de la Lune in the centre of the purple seal.
You run your fingers over the seal and it is only then that you realize it’s mearly printed on the envelope.
Opening the envelope, you are greeted with the sight of a slightly more yellow card inside.
As you pull the card from the envelope, you notice the printing is imbedded.
The text looks golden, and the framework around it is a royal purple.
    You begin to read:

“We are hereby delighted to invite you, and any guests you may wish to bring,
to the Cirque Masquerade Ball on the eve of February the 18th”

It is signed with the same masks as were on the seal.

Turning the card, you find instructions that reveal the Gates will be opened from 8pm and that the entrance can be found near the Galaxy Girl statue in Galaxy City.

(( as you no doubt realize, it's an open invitation, so spread the word ))
