Congratulations Z!
Nearly 2 years after creation?
Mission accomplished, 50 before Christmas, yay!
*hugs* -
Welcome to Paragon, and welcome to the boards.
There are some RP supergroups, but it depends on your character which one he'll fit in with.
Also, what do you mean with "serious RP supergroup"?
Serious about their RP?
Serious about the gameplay/leveling?
Both?
Something you may find useful
Read down a bit, SGs are discussed a little way down. -
This afternoon, there was only one instance of PD, but should be a second one this evening.
-
Back when Bridger and RockJaw went head to head (with a horde of heroes and villains) in Siren's Call, I was in SC8 ...

So guys, which Pocket D Instance will this little gathering be in?

I'll be going to PD2 -
[ QUOTE ]
I'd say that my MA/DA scrapper Isaac Anderson shows more skin off than any of my female characters...
but that wouldn't surprise anyone. Would it, ShadowGhost?
[/ QUOTE ]
*is reminded of <Isaac: "I borrowed my girlfriend's skirt"> and promptly reaches for the mindbleach again* -
[ QUOTE ]
Sometimes skin showing works for some characters, other times it doesn't.
As for my own charactes, it#s pretty much the same. Some of them wear more revealing clothes, and some of them don't. It depends on their personality and background.

*shudders* Isaac *shudders* -
My reactions range from "oh god, not an other one" to "oooh, that looks good" and move on...
My own costumes...
Generally, they're fully clothed (or at least decent).
Although, I usually do have a 'sexy' slot on most my female toons. This doesn't mean nude... for instance one such 'sexy' slot is almost fully covered except for the face and neckline
with odd skin colours, one can aproximate the skin colour. As such, I've used the "tights+shorts" to make thigh high stockings, though this means the lack of underwear...
Once I had a set, one was a conservative business suit (with the stockings...) and an other costume slot with the exact same costume... except for the skirt removed and the hair let down. The length of the jacket covered, though not to the stockings, which had a (I find) sexy effect... which I never had out in public... -
I have a A4 tablet... but I've found my hand-eye coordination better while using a mouse, although I think my lines were better with the pen...
As for software... I use a cheap program I recieved with my scanner... ok, so I don't actually DO any colouring, but... I think I could do it with that fairly well
Just my view, trust some one who comes across as knowing what they talk about sooner -
Saturday at Pocket D:
Miss Ellie, Tigergirl, Psionix, Dark Stone, Energyneer and Grav Mistress went to Pocket D, having come from GG and fancying a drink.
Miss Ellie showed them some of the newer features, like the monkey fight club... Sam (Psionix) enjoyed that (and found it oddly arousing?) while Jared (Dark Stone), Jess (Grav Mistress) were appauled by it. Yoko (Tigergirl) didn't like it too much either.
They went back up to the bar upstairs while Jess hadn't touched her wine since they moved down.
When Ellie asked Jess if she was alright, Jess replied: "Is contemplating the collaption of this dimension 'alright'?". Yup, she doesn't like the place all that much... never really did, and thinks that.. despite the location being better and the view also, it's gone down hill from the PDP it used to be...
Eventually (and after a baileys) things got better... or rather, Jess accepting the fact she couldn't change the place and she didn't really wanting to walk out on her friends.
Ellie left after a phone call, acting... rather suspiciously... and left something unintentionally behind.
Which was cause for Jared and Jess to speculate about things.
Yoko and Hannah returned from their dance, and joined Jess and Jared in their chatting. After a bit, Jess asked who'd care to take her for a dance. Jared said he can't dance, but volunteered the then arriving Sara Aegis.
Yoko left, Hannah and Jess danced before leaving too. And Jared told Jess to tell her wife to stop acting suspicious, that it would get her in to trouble.
Sunday at Pocket D:
Erik (Tower of Power) came in for a late drink and chatted a little with the one other patron at the bar: Drake Flame, who ignited his 'flaming sambuco' himself, and drank it without blowing it out.
When Number Nine came over, followed by 'Dragonfly being rather demanding... that drew both the men's attention and verbally came to the damsel's aid... the gynoid one, not the bigoted, narrow minded, opinionated, stuck up... etc, etc, 'woman'.
Ah well... the sheer injust pigheadeness, not to mention rudeness almost caused Erik to rip his suit... and he does like his suit...
In the end, he took Nene's offer to walk him home, not because he feared for his safety but because he enjoyed the company. -
I nominate FloatingFatMan's NaNoWriMo entry, The Diary and do so under no duress or any form of coersion or blackmail

Does this include The Grav Mistress? -
Although the Concord is (last I remember) more a SG filled with alts though get rarely played due to Heroes, or Villains in other SGs
(the Concord can be classed as a collection of 'unafilliated') -
"This video contains music and scenes that may not be appropriate for young children"
You can understand my 'worry' as I know a heroin called Star Gazer that's an exotic dancer as her civvies occupation... -
as I said, I'll put 1 mil on FFM winning (darn costume changes cost being what they are nerfed my inf...)
Who has enough inf to take these bets? what will the odds be?
I'd suggest 2-5 return ratio ... twice as much if FFM wins, 5 times as much for the underdog FG
But I'm not a bookie -
*facepalms* I'm on the Envoy of Shadows arc, and I didn't think of it.... You need to know the 'true name' of him, defeat him and then you banish him.
-
I combine infromtation from the Earthsea miniseries, and the NWN expantion pack "Hordes of the Underdark"
Both: With some one's true name, you can command them to do anything, anything at all... even die on the spot.
NWN: It's rather hard to learn someone's true name, most 'mortals' don't even know their own.
EarthSea: Mages can.
Also, I remember where sand was turned into diamonds, temorarilly, because the true name wasn't used.
That last bit leaves me to believe that with a true name, almost anything is possible.
Teleportation, needs a target and a destination (possibly a time or other variables). With a true name being used as the target... I would say it matters not where the target is in corrolation to the caster, and the destination... I don't know
oh, for all we know, she turned her mother into a diamond? -
Hmmmm.... a bald guy with mental powers... hmmmmm
-
"Name magic"
depending on what they use, it probably needs the 'true name' for such, which would be hard to know, even for oneself, but pausible enough for her to know her mother's.
So, she won't be able to 'send people into the cornfield' (spot the reference) at will/random. But she can probably make her mother do what ever she wants (conciously or subconciously)

[ QUOTE ]
Spellsong wondered if Winter Heart just didn't send away her mother by accident or impulsiveness, using the "name magic" she is starting to learn.
[/ QUOTE ]
Some one's teaching her such magic? Are they clinically insane? Or just even less responsible then Winter? Basic spells to make her feel safe, sure... and coaching her so she'll get the mentality to use it responsibly, but teaching her that... why not just stick her in a box and send her to the Rogues? -
[ QUOTE ]
they seemed rather disappointed that it wasn't going near 24-7 like with GG
[/ QUOTE ]
Then they'll be equally disappointed about GG, which generally starts at around 9pm, same as CT -

See? I bet you didn't even notice what color her eyes were

What eyes? She has eyes?
Hilarious issue, as always Sar -
Yes, yes he is... if there is indeed such a thing...
