some SGs have a full coalitions set and can't have any more.
They'd have to break a coalition in order to make a new one.
They are aware of the button bug, but the command works.. I just can't remember what the command is...
edit:
That said, there have been a few of such places.
The Fourth Wall comes to mind.
The Unity Vigil base is similarly a fairly open place.
But in experience, 'walk in' SG bases for RP don't really work unless people know there will be people. (like a fixed night)
GG and PD work as a metagroup meeting point because there's a 98% guarentee there'll be people there.
So, I see your place being used more as a meeting place for smaller groups that go there to RP in private with the chance of being stumbled upon. (rather then other SG bases or out of the way places where the stumbling will not/unlikely happen)
Still wish you luck and cuddos on the effort! -

Villain side its even easier.
-Tutorial (optional)
-Street slaughter. Head up to Mercy zone asap. Slaughter your way into Port Oakes.

Especially on villains I do the first arc... if for no better reason then for the phone number. I mean, Khalinda's fairly fun to take on a date, when she gets that uniform of, well.. helmet at least
oh okay it's to call her for te cape alright, I admit it! -
I know of a PB that solo'd most of that last mission.
Of course, the mission was set to lvl 40ish and the PB was lvl 50. -
Items already have a location description to them, otherwise they wouldn't excist as 'material' things.
If we were to get access to that information and be allowed to edit it, we could make the bases more easily then with trail and error.
And as 'gravity' seems be off, there's no more constraints in that department, though a 'drop to surface' button would be great, just in case. -
You can't direct the animations of other player.
Masterminds are able to command their pets to do or say anything the game allows, they are in control of those pets after all.
/petsay_all <em wave> Hello
Makes all pets wave and say hello. Drop the hello and they just wave. Drop the <em > bit and they just say hello. (oh, <e > doesn't work) -
Someone had the same idea stateside

Oh wait, that was me
FFM just couldn't resist posting it there too -
Yup, facepalm emotes!
Both the "dropping head in palm and shaking head in exasperation" as well as the "tilt head back, slap hand to face and drag hand slowly down" versions are 'needed' for those facepalm moments!
We've all had sidekicks that warent them, haven't we? -

It only affects missions which are available in Ouroboros (mission arcs mainly), and is an unfortunate side effect of some code added to stop people teaming with villains when villains aren't in the co-op zone.
[/ QUOTE ]
Those pesky villains!
Forming teams outside the co-op zones, when will they learn that CoV is a solo game? -
[ QUOTE ]
Okay that was really naive of me but when i saw this "bug" i thought it was intentional. Devs way to stop filling invites.
[/ QUOTE ]
There are easy ways around it... just select the mission, then invite people.
The current team numbers are used to populatw a spawn as a teammember comes into range. -

What about a 'base Police scanner'? Or some kind of 'breaking news computer program'?
A special SG base-specific item that generates mission (like police band) but for SGs?
Maybe make them Hazard Zone ones, instead of just specific 'city' zones
[/ QUOTE ]
Oh, that's a nice one!
Hazard zones being monitored by SG's would feel like SG's fill a role, act their part.
Not sure how that'd translate to Vilains, but they have their SF so... -
A check box might make it easier to get a report for stuff
Reason:
[ ] Too difficult
[ ] Bugged (please report in the mission)
[ ] Boring mission type
[ ] Outlevelled
[ ] Other, namely...
It would be a useful tool after a month or three to see why those missions that get dropped a lot do get dropped. Though at the same time, I assume they can see which get dropped a lot now, and with a human eye look at those missions and ponder the reason of the dropping could be easily gotten. -
Is there a "toggle XP earning" command that could be used in a macro or keybind?
-
The real reason is to prevent non PD goldcard members from entering the Tiki VIP lounge.
TP powers work outside the mail disco floor (lobby either side and ski place are fine).
I just tested and teleported a villain to the Hero Lobby.
The villain gets 'only heroes allowed' when accessing an exit door, but can use the elevator just fine. -

Sooooooooo,
Who does the coffee run this time around?

Do I hear a volunteer there?
Maybe with the obstacle of 'also sells alcoholics' there to make it 'interesting'? -

Would love to head over again for such a meet! -

* STANDARD furniture. Including normal looking beds and bathroom stuff, regular furnishings you'd expect to get in a home
* Windows. Please god, windows. And not the Microsoft variety either!
[/ QUOTE ]
Yes please!

* Chairs which can be sat in properly, in the style of WoW. Click on it and sit.

I think this is an impossibility in the current engine.
In WoW everyone of the same race is the same height (even the same between most races), so they only had to do the animation and ancors and such for those heights and shapes.
With CoX, the height is different, the leg length too, I can imagine that it'd be rather hard to get things to function like that. Unless they could make skeleton points attach to object points? Would need minimal attach points (like just bum to sitting surface) combined with a pose (though a mini character might have their legs go through said surface..)
Hmmm, think of why it doesn't work now, and come up with a possible way of doing it flexibly in one day... I scare myself sometimes. -
my VEAT's weapon is just too awesome to behold!
(could be because it's pink) -
Hmmm...
Go into the mission and you get the waiting room.
You can start off by summoning pets, start toggles and such.
Meanwhile, in the background everyone is loading.
Somewhere a progress bar is shown for the team's loading.
Put a limiter on when you can actually go in te mission? Like when 50% of the team has loaded? Or no limit.
This time/space could of course be used for chatting.
But in my opinion, if the team isn't chatty, that social room won't help. -
Interactive base items, both the pointless and the useful.
Pointless:[*] A tv that you can turn on and off[*] A pinball machine that shows a short animation of playing the game (with interaction would be nice, but probably neigh impossible)[*] A diagnotic station for a longbow/arachnos flier that runs a scan and gives up the result (a version for green ligh, red light and random?)
Useful:[*] A computer that shows your statistics over the last mission(s)[*] A door. Slide, turn or rotation? (basic ones, as well as the secret bookshelf versions?)[*] A button that triggers other placable items, for instance alarm lights.
Ah, one can dream... -
I WANT A DARK/DARK CONTROLLER!!!!!
but that's because I can't get to grips with blasters -

Why I16, SS?
As for autorent, I agree. I earn what little rent my base requires within a mission or two, so that's no problem. Having to log into an alt of rent-paying privileges and trekking to Atlas just to click three times gets tedious. If anything, shouldn't I be able to call them up?
[/ QUOTE ]
I agree there, though I'm usually in Galaxy City anyway, so it's rarely more then an annoyance.

"Office of Supergroup Registration. How may I help you?"
"Hi, this is Lorne Lightningclaw, officer of the suprgroup Situation Normal. I would like to pay this month's rent, please."
"Please give the authorisation code"
"Authorisation Janeway Pie Omega"
"Ok, that will be 700 prestige. Would you like us to withdraw the funds from your supergroup's account?"
"Yes, that will be fine. Thank you for your time."
"Have a nice day, sir."
[/ QUOTE ]
Added a bit for more realistic representation... darn me working in a servicedesk and dealing with such authorisation checks... -

a hero with dark powers......and when are we gonna ask for light basts for domminators?
really, not to nickpick but, we are hero's ppl, and hero's are not the kind of guy's/girl's to use dark blasts.
[/ QUOTE ]
It's not the powers, it's how you use them that earns labels as 'hero' or 'villain' or 'vigilante' or 'fence sitter' or 'show off' or something -

Currently, it heavily favors healzors.
[/ QUOTE ]
Surely it could only favour healzors who can't heal - as if they could heal then the team health wouldn't be low so vigilance wouldn't make a difference.
[/ QUOTE ]
Heal sets depend on healing to get team's health up.
Other sets depend on buffs to prevent team's health from going down.
Fact remains, do your job well and your inherrent is useless. Do a [censored] job, and your inherant isn't going to help you.
