Saying that people were posting in a way that I was sure after being on the forums for over a year they knew better ..is a serious accusation?

Or was it that people treat their friends differently and will excuse behaviors by their friends that they won't tolerate in others?....I think of it as recognizing human nature more than an accusation.


Your basically asking me to do what? Start a whole new argument over*old* issues? Then we can debate them again won't that be pleasant? Teleporting in PvP..We recently had a whole thread about how upset some people were until they found out it was a "friend" who was doing it..

As you stated, you have nothing to do with the situation..So I clearly wasn't referring to you..You also weren't *around* when most of the incidents I am talking about happened...So I'm not sure why you would even care...
Have you asked everyone who has posted in this thread for the details of their opinions or statements? To "Back It Up or Retract It?".

I do see your points and as I said If I knew more about the situation I would most likely AGREE with you 100% about the persons character and actions...

I do believe the OP had good intentions in trying to resolve the problem...


However..I dont agree with you at all that any number of players get to decide or agree on what is right in a zone...I think we can try to the best of our ability to be fair to all , but in the end we have to adhere to how the game is set up..Is it frustrating as all heck?? Yaaaa!...not just in PvP.


I have seen you distinguish between sportsmanship and fair play in pvp zones...so I am inclined to believe you when you say this person is really crossing some lines whether it be technically against the rules or not...

My biggest problem with this is that the "forums" is hardly a fair place to argue or fight this out....Its Unfortunate but true..

Let the community decide??...What community ?....The "Forum" Community? How is that right or fair? We are a very tiny part of the Server Community.. the only REAL Community we represent is the Forum Community..Not the Champion Community as a whole...and clearly even as The Forum Community we dont all agree.


I took the word "celebrites" out of my post because it was interjecting my own distaste for the word and attitude where it didnt belong...I can't overlook the fact that when situation like this have come up before...The people were labeled "funny" or a "rebel" and defended by some of the same people now crying foul..


Regardless if I agree with FC's polices or zone guidelines...FC has a few choices of how to handle the situation...Im sorry I don't agree with this tactic.


Just because what FC is wanting to see in the zone is what some and mostly likely myself would consider admirable, fair, good sportsmanship, or civilized doesn't give them the right to enforce it...Or assume that its what everyone wants.

It also sounds like some of you are saying..we want to play the way we want to play..and we wont consider any suggestions or alternatives... "It takes to much time"...As the rebuttal to a possible resolution is not really giving me the impression that this is something that can be solved any other way than "What FC wants"..

Attack the problem....Not the player....Only one of those can lead to true resolution...

I refuse to believe that FC isnt smart enough to figure out a way to beat this foe if you don't want resolution then band together ..organize and take him down in game abiding by the "guidelines" that you preach...Isnt that what this is all about? If you really believe you are in the right then fight for what you believe in...In game on the field...

How great would that feel?


I have ZERO investment in this specific situation betweeen the two parties...I do care how its being resolved and the direction the Forum Community has been taking lately..

I guess when it comes to PvP..I always ask myself...If I were truely the toon Im playing...and I was actually in that situation what would I do? If its not a game exploit... anything can be beaten with intelligence, ingenuity, and effort.

Im hardly petitioning for peace...not remotely my point..if something is upsetting you or others that much in game...then of course stand up and speak out!...Its the way its being done that I have issue with...and the fact that some of the people complaining decide what side of the fence they are on based on whats popular and whos involved rather than a true sense of right and wrong, or that something is only wrong when it begins to effect them...

My thoughts both yesterday and today are primarily directed at the people on these forums who clearly know better and have actually defended tooth and nail other people who have done similar things in game simply because they were "friends"...

I happen to think YOUR heart is in the right place however I disagree with your methods...

if you find my posts High and Mighty...Ill take that as a compliment because I do at least TRY to take the higher road ( I often fail miserably) Words are a very mighty weapon when used properly..Which is why Im disheartened to see the type of posts I have seen yesterday and today by people who I believe know better...

"While tanking yesterday, me and fayt decided something. The regens are actually not part of melee, I mean, we don't really work with the healing blanket, we watch over the hami's aggro. So we decided there was this:

Blasters, Healers, Controllers and Melee
And of course, the regen which, Fayt and I had decided, will be called Friggin' Hot awesome pimps... or awesomes for short.

SO What do the FHAPs get to wear"





As much as you and Fayt like to think your beautiful and unique snowflakes ....you ARE indeed part of the melee....and should be fighting with the melee ....a regen is a luxury we use towards the end of the Mitos phase and needed for Hold phase....Which is why you hear me nagging Fayt to get in there and KILL A MITO!

in all honesty its not fair to say someone making mistakes at a raid is PLd and clueless....I went to quite a few raids before I really understood even the basics...The thing is ...you dont really need to understand

Follow Orders and ask questions ....Its pretty simple do what your told and then if you want to understand the "whys" ask) At least thats my philosophy....I just did my job and later started asking questions...


I would like to see AT leads checking their teams before Raid and sending everyone the links they need to review. Educating our troops is something I will never mind delaying the raid start for


The lesson that not everyone who is messing up at the raid is a griefer though is one that needs repeating often I have found more and more as I speak to people kindly and directly they listen...Rather than a mob shouting in Broadcast...

If you see someone making a mistake send a tell to their AT lead...dont say it in Broadcast.. Trust me it will be appreciated by all and much more effective

Im going to say this straight up...You really have alot of nerve.


You want to find a faster way???? For what? You dont have to wait so long before entering the Hive at the final phase? Are we making you wait to long? You advocate leeching on the boards. You SHOW up in the Hive and yell at people in broadcast. You seem to have an abundance of complaints, feel free to take the higher road and skip the HO. You want it to go faster ...show up and do your part for the WHOLE raid...
dont instigate in broadcast...the comments dont help at all.

The Mitos split because we have new people....not bad people...we have new Targeters...and new Raiders....sometimes we lose target or fail to educate someone....I myself played my Troller through the Mitos phase a few raids and missed the target....


The ONE Raid you are referring to that xpp led....yes started with a small group....ended with a huge group...and we couldnt get past the hold phase until Marut was asked to take over....


The raids now arent much different, I realize you would have no way of knowing how many people we start with....but we actually only END up with 120 people...we start with 70 or less...

Dont worry Ninj, I promise not to take you to the beach I took Fayt to...

Knowing Fayt sometimes lets his mouth get him into trouble....His Baywatch swim abilities were somewhat in doubt (being he is from Oklahoma )...Idont know something told me he might not be the black David Hasslehoff....

Through a long path deep into the jungle..Our Hero Fayt slays wild Roosters trying to steal our lunch...I show him the warning signs....High Treacherous surf...Turn Back Now , This means YOU ! Still the brave Fayt forges ahead to the remote beach....

Where he finds a memorial to the many tourists who lost their lives at this beach, as recently as 4 weeks prior to his visit....Undaunted our hero charges to the beach....Boogie Board in hand ....He turns around flashes a smile at me , as I see a huge mountain of water building behind him...I yell out

"Dont Turn Your back on the Ocean!".....Of course Fayt turns completly around and says "WAT?"...as he is pummled by the brutal surf.....meanwhile his sidekick "Tanker Timmy" decides he will not be outdone by Fayt and rushes in...A short time later the very tired genna must rush into the water and save the 290 pound Tanker Timmy from drowning...

The problem is Genna was trying to be cute that day in her little white bikini instead of a surf suit. So now Timmy safely beached on shore...genna is trapped by the undertow...finally deciding that breathing has become of upmost urgency , genna allows the surf to rip her bikini top off her young body and makes her way to shore....

Fayt who once again has his back to the ocean and yells "are you ok?" and once again disappears in a mountain of water.....Our hero fights his way to shore only to find himself faced with a decision......Leave Genna topless and pouty over her favorite bikini getting washed away....Or Make the effort to retrieve the top....Valiantly Fayt runs back to the water ...as Genna rolls her eyes because there is NO way on hell he is going to find that little top in all that surf....5 Minutes later...Our hero now blonde due to all the sand in his hair drops my bikini top at my feet with a triumphant smile ...says


"Who's your Hero?!"

then collapses....I think the bruising went away before he left??

I grew up in Kahala and hope to make it back to Oahu before end of the year.....Folly Beach is closer to home for you? I spent alot of time there and absolutely love Charleston! In fact my two favorite places in the world to party on Halloween is Waikiki and Charleston.


Ill be on Oahu in about 2 weeks for 10 days. Up for some surf lessons??
