Doesn't bother me overly that people run to their base. I don't get why they do it though. We're all here to test ourselves and have a good time...atleast I'd like to think thats why most people go to PvP zones (Ok call me naive). So since you have nothing to lose from a defeat why run to base for safety...

Well that and the % ratio on some defender AT is laughable(not saying all as only done test with one defender AT). Made some test against a kin corrupter with my kin defender. Similarly slotted in the powers we tested (Transferance, Transfusion, siphon spd and pwr) and well the result left me with a bad taste, to the point i no longer play my defender. The dmg amount they put out compared to the minimal buff/debuff 'effect' a kin defender gets is just wrong.

I know you might say that you can't compare the two but lets be honost its the two closest related. The powers have just been switched around and they have a different inherent ability

Bah ! What's that supposed to mean ? i have pff off a lot in pvp, just to give out buffs and sometimes to use Aid Other. That's when you see me going from full health to death in less than a second

And true enough I could have tried and legged it out of there but thats not why I come to sirens. I might retreat when low on hp's but only to backtrack. What do i have to lose by staying? Nothing, so why run. Besides least one was an ice blaster

It was a learning experience for sure. I got a few useful things out of it. Was fun to try, although rather one sided

The scene was set for a lovely night in Sirens Call and I was hoping for a bit of a change in my luck as I hadn't had much for a while.

I did as per usual and asked in broadcast for a villain team. No one answered my plea so figured I'd go out and survey the area and see how things were looking. It wasn't long before i stumbled upon a ice blaster who froze me and a few of his blaster friends showed up to finish me off. In the distance i notice a few more heroes fiddling around.

I return to the hospital and think to myself, 'looks like its going to be a rough night' As anyone who knows me I'm to dumb to realise when I don't stand a chance So I head on out again a bit more ready this time. I see them again, standing together near the golden statue.

I rush in on them and put down my Rad debuffs on the one in the center and start to shoot away, hoping i can at least get one down before I'm BBQ. Then i notice a stalker jump in to line up his AS on the one i put the aura on. I can just imagine what he's thinking, 'Oh look green bubbly fluffy clouds. Lets poke it' at that moment I think to myself 'Why pvp god, why of all people do you hate me the most. I worship you daily and this is my payment?' After my short reflexion I see the blaster with my aura's dead and the stalker bouncing away happy with his kill. Then my attention goes to the three overly zealous blasters ready to show me a real good time, hero style

You might be wondering, whats the point to this post? There aint one really. I've had a bad couple of weeks of being outnumbered and then this just took the cake for me. merely thought that I'd share my run of bad luck, so that it may put a smile upon some peoples faces on this lovely friday. The pvp god is surely cursing me, it was one of those moments that can annoy you while in the moment but after reflecting on it. Its actually quite funny

Just to be clear, this isn't a flame against stalkers or the guy playing him. Could have been any AT that could have left me in such a dilemma really

I was always swapping back and forward depending on the numbers but not many others do, be nice to have at least one more who does this. Its sad that a lot of the players in sirens seem only interested in playing when its a peice of cake due to overwhelming numbers (both sides) Once proper resistance is organised the majority of the none regulars seem to leave. Personally I dont understand what people get out of easy kills.

Anyways, I've definately noticed a lack of regulars in the pvp zones but still meet decent pvp'er that dont go around bad mouthing everyone.

They'll always be around, the people who have no manners. Best thing to do is to learn how to ignore them and not to feed them.

Don't let one bad apple spoil what used to be fun for ya. Hope to meet ya in a pvp zone sometime
