If this is a threadjack, 'sorry' in advance. It's related to forum names, but it has to do more with the "titles" under our avatars, 'Forum Cartel', 'Legend', etc. Does anyone know the ranks and post numbers related to them? I did a quick search, but nothing came up.

If it makes a difference, I've met about seven people who hadn't played in five years over the past two weeks. They're amazed at the leaps and bounds the game has made.

I got another set ready, but my comp went wonky today, and gave me the gift of three BSOD's, so I'll have to wait till I get to work to upload it.

Ok, I downloaded that tool the thread advised. But now I can't update my drivers, use Photoshop, and have random IE crashes. And I've had 7 BSOD's with, I think, nva.dpl as the culprit. I'm taking the comp to a shop on Monday, but I'd like to fix it at home first. Anyone got any ideas?

I gotta come up with some more, the competition is fierce!

There are times I miss the AE farms, only if for the mad leveling in the low to mid levels. I have a scrapper that REALLY needs to be in Cimerora for storyline purposes, but I'm still two levels away from getting there. And I have a level 12 Corruptor that is really, really squishy. But I'm hanging with doing things by the book redside since I've never really been over there before. But man, my AR/Traps Corr does get chewed up pretty often.

Hey tech gang. It's been a while since I had a problem of any kind, but here I am, back again. Here's the deal. For the past month, I've been trying to install this automatic update from Microsoft. It's this one:

Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1 Security Update for Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, Windows 7, and Windows Server 2008 R2 (KB953297)

And no matter what I do, it always fails. I've tried uninstalling AVG just in case that was the problem. Turning my comp off without installing and then reinstalling manually when I reboot, just about everything. I'm at a loss. Anyone got any suggestions? I'd appreciate it.

I know the devs hop ingame every now and then for Invasions, parties, and the like. But seeing Statesman flow through the Storm Palace on his way to....something, would be interesting. Not too mention the hilarity that would ensue if Ms. Liberty wasn't on her podium when new Heroes come to see her.

As for the wet T-shirt contest...fine. *pout* I guess I'll just settle for them being in a "Girls Gone Wild" video.

In my head, sure. On the forum boards of the SG's I've joined, absolutly. A couple of my guys have been in several death investigations of my fallen comrades, friends, or catastrophes.

I agree with Andrea. It takes a strong story, and a good storyteller to keep things interesting. You can't have a half-cocked theory or just one or two scenes you want RP'd out. Planning out the story before you pitch it to whomever you are going to RP with is always a good idea. Know what you to say, happen, or what kind of action you want is good to have inhand before going ingame. But make sure the path you take in the story can be flexible. Remember, you are going to be incorportating, ((hopefully, other actors, and as we all know, all actors have their own way of doing things. So make sure the story can have numerous curves in it, instead of just the straight and narrow road.

And be creative! Make sure the story is something folks will want to be involved in. Make the people involved interesting, dynamic, and colorful. Playing the loner, or the "Batman" type needs a Superman, Robin, or Wonder Woman to keep the dialogue going when the main character goes all "broody".

Make sure you aren't the only Storyteller too. Let one or two folks in on the some or most of the story, just in case something happens, and the story has to progress without you. Not knowing what direction to go in during a lull in the story causes it to die more often than anything else.

It means I'll be at work....dangit. Hopefully I'll get alot done on Thursday, and it'll still be going on Monday for a bit.
