Fire/SR is fantastic. Late bloomer, though, and terribly tight build.
Does solid AE, solid single target. -

SB is the reason I lost interest in my kins. Yes, the team functions better with it up, but buffbot is not entertaining. I am happy to group kins, and I would prefer they use SB, but if they're contributing (siphon power/transferrence/transfusion/fulcrum shift/increase density are all excellent) then really I don't mind too much if they don't SB. Frankly kin is a great set even without SB - but for me it is not fun to play with SB as one of your 'primary' functions.
Also, I tend to avoid adding tankers to my pugs, so I don't run into "OMG STONE TANK NEEDS CRACK" that often. -
Then again, there's a giant pvp thread that's popped up since I last looked that really answers all his Q's...

You're clearly not looking.

In his defense, I started up a mind/elec recently and there's not that much out there. Some older mind/ guides and an /elec guide, and ~3 posts before this mentioning it last time I used search.
That said, I don't have any advice on the topic. Mine's fun and easy in the early levels, other than having terrible damage (which is more AT than powerset). -
I have both, I prefer storm.
Fr + psy torn + psy scream = knocked down, -rech and slowed groups of opponents!
Tornado for av's, lightning storm for all sorts of situations... good combo. -
Dark/Dark ... Dark/Anything, really.

Ghost of Sparta's also a BS/INV so he's had different experiences with endurance
Nice to see ya posting Ghost, teamed with you a few times on different characters. I would also reword some of this. But I "hate" invuln ("gimped") so I'm not a good person to write about the set
Edits (multiple for clarity and presentation):
Ghost, you may want to refer to this: Buffy's Scrapper Secondary - #'s
Among other things, for S/L to tweak your statement about TI being amazing:
Dark Embrace: 22.5% base
Temp Invuln: 22.5% base, no difference.
Now, fully slotted w/other powers besides Tough:
[ QUOTE ]
Dark Armor: DE (3 SO DamRes) - Total 35.1%
Invuln: Uny (3 SO DamRes), RPD (3 SO DamRes), TI (3 SO DamRes) - Total 49.7%
[/ QUOTE ]
With Tough:
[ QUOTE ]
Dark Armor: DE (3 SO DamRes), Tough (3 SO DamRes) - Total 52.3%
Invuln: Uny (3 SO DamRes), RPD (3 SO DamRes), TI (3 SO DamRes), Tough (3 SO DamRes) - Total 67.3%
[/ QUOTE ]
Also, FYI defense for Invuln:
[ QUOTE ]
Uny, Inv (3 SO DefBuf), TH (3 SO DefBuf) - Total 8.7% (1 foe), 24.3% (10 foes)
[/ QUOTE ]
Good to know? =)

In the right group its not hard but getting that group is a pain in the keister. Currently the Reward does not match risk in any way shape or form.
[/ QUOTE ]
Gotta agree with this statement; 75% is far too high a success rate for a reward as potent as respecing your character. They should increase the difficulty a few notches. But I'm a product of high end EQ, where you got 2 items for a mob you could kill once every 3 weeks, to split between the 50 people required to kill it, so I have a different set of standards.
Again, Concern, I suggest you post on your server boards. As your particular AT brings nothing to the table support/defense wise, and this has been dubbed the trial were defense is actually more important than offense, finding clutch defensive players is key.
Alternatively, find a good defensive partner (emp def) and form the trial with four people but have two of them drop (just ask them to help you start it) and duo it, you'll find the difficulty greatly reduced. You must have at least one or two of those on your friends list... just /ex them. Duo, the trial shouldn't take you two very long, I know scrappers who solo it.

That pretty much makes City of Villains unplayable for Controllers!
[/ QUOTE ]
Serious concern here too. I know the devs originally said the Controller was probably the most feared class for PvP ... looks like with an insp or two that's just not the case. One insp nullifying a class's main function is gimp! -

Last night I sidekicked with my roommate.
She was 32 and I was therefore 31.
Why was she getting 700 XP for +3 mobs and I was getting 350 for +4?
[/ QUOTE ]
Because the exp scales to your actual level.
Becoming level 31 via SK doesn't give you a level 31's exp.
You get the same reward you would get if you fought an actual level +4 opponent.
IE, if you are 16 SK to 31, you kill a 35, you get exp for a 20. -
Statesman:
Any chance of increasing the following Kinetics power durations (preferably to 2 minutes instead of 1)?
Increase Density
Inertial Reduction
Also, any thought to the difficulty of keeping a large team speed boosted?
(Duration, again, 4 minutes instead of 2 would be lovely!)
Many thanks for being a dev that actually tells the players about the process instead of the ostrich method.

the freakshow one can get tough... fast. And the mobs start to stack when they start rezzing each other.
[/ QUOTE ]
Hahahah, sooooooooo not my experience. "YES! MORE HARD COATED EXP CANDY GOODNESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Ice/Storm Controller >>>> Freakshow -
On doing it with a small group:
I have over 20 wins in groups larger than 6. -
Yep, I'm still perplexed by people who don't have 2 hours. Heck, that's just going from 6 hours sleep to 4 hours sleep in a night, and there's this magic drug called "Caffeine" that I'm still addicted to from my 60 hours work + 50 hours EQ weeks...

This trial is teh lolz.
Ne1 kan p0wnzer it.
rEd teh gides.
2hr is 1hr 2long.
jusASK frhelp.
sevr b0ar!ds!
And the obligatory: n00b.
(Translation of the above:
Really, this isn't that hard of a trial, any decent group can finish it, there are numerous guides on beating it, it can be beaten in well under 2 hours, just ask for help. Try your server boards.)
Omg. Yes. So 1337.
0hs0p0h. 0hs0p0h. 0hs0p0h.
(Ahhhh, eq days.)
