Please do NOT use Warburg nukes at the raid. We do not have a damage phase, and as such attacks aren't needed. In addition to this, the lag those things cause is IMMENSE which is something we definitely don't want during the raid.
Edit: Also, quick note; Honsou can't make it to this raid due to RL stuff so Nemesis Spawnus will be targetting in his place.

Cool. One of those nukes is a buff, is it a good idea to fire it before entering the hive or leaving it entirely? -
Never seen anyone with a temp power bow, maybe someone else can shed a light on that.

The thing that really grates on me at the moment is all the crying in broadcast when people die, even in a fair fight.

and yesterday, having never seen the excuse before, I twice saw "You can only kill me when I'm running a long animation!"
It's PvP. If you're in the zone, you're a target and you may well be a target for multiple enemies.
I can't turn broadcast off, because some heroes are absolutely worth talking to, but I just hate the endless crying on and on. I understand totally the "I'll get you!" mentality, but it's just so refreshing to meet people who die in the "right" spirit.
I'd rather people [broke the EULA and] swore at me and told me how they were going to render me into minced meat than generated reason number one million about how their death wasn't fair.

That's the thing that got me about bases, they might be the prettiest of bases, but it means SFA if your enemy pops his head round the corner and nukes your power generator while your guards are wondering what to do with the salvage in the corner. -
And that's your lot boys and girls, if you look to your right, you'll see an incoming elec / elec blaster designed to do a duracell on tank or brute

Not enitrely. IIRC SR powers do give increased resistance to attacks as your health goes down, but you can't slot it. It is defence, but resistance is in there, I was thinking he meant Invul? Maybe -

I think our chats on the Leader channel tonight definitely showed a lot of holes in our general PvP min/max knowledge.
One thing that did come up was the RES vs DEF question and also the value of -ACC powers.
For arena team PvP, where should our buffs/debuffs be concentrated? -DEF -ACC +DEF +RES, balanced.
Overall opinion seemd to be go with RES heavy sets such as SR and concentrate on +DEF and +DMG buffs for our team. Chances are this is wrong though so any feedback appreciated.
(Please just leave the flaming. We've seen enough of it lately and I think people have all said their piece in other posts. No need to carry it on)

That's quite an interesting point raised about the res, def, etc stuff. I would rather have increased resiatance myself after a little thought, since it could make a blaster's defiance scretch out longer, couple with other buffs going on (ie, empaths' RA buffs) - but this is strictly about my blaster, it would be interesting to see how it fares out but /rad seems to be a really popular pvp tool, I know I'd definately like to see actual Sonic offenders once in a while. -

So would a tank possibly screw his build over if they picked the Concealment power pool? This doesn't seem right to me, because I don't read 'Group Invis nerfs tanks even more' in the little status circles.

Wanted something different in PvP and it will still be useful in PvE too. Every blaster and his mother slots the nuke for damage, but I'd rather be able to take advantage of the -end recovery of it and see what happens. -

Hmm...two end drainers. Cool. I might not go for the fitness pool at all with this brute and also ignore the patron powers too.

Elec Armor looks pretty complicated to play IMO
Its like playing Half Dark/Half Energy but without any heal nor any defense...really difficult.
...but well,we dont know the numbers yet(do we?).If the numbers are as usual 22.5% resist and so on I really cant see the benefits of this armor that compensates the obvious lacks.
Resist based sets really needs a heal because they get hit and the regen is not usually enough.Defense based sets(but could use it anyway) dont need it since you are not hit and your unslotted health regen is usually enough(not to fight an AV of course).
So they have taken dark armor low-tier powers and energy high-tier powers and in the middle has changed a heal for +spd + recharge...how does this help to damage mitigation? Well +recharge is +dmg since you can use your best powers more frequently and applying the 5D theorem (Dead deeds dont do damage) this is more protection but its so slightly noticeable i dont know how to play an elec armor...i mean,if youre a */fire brute(and this is the protection a I see on elec) youre a scrapper,you are a big bad evil flaming bunch of damage and you cant take it well,you know it and handle with it....but "What If"(tm) you dont have a heal?
Now I see the situation:

After playing an elec/elec blaster for so long, I tend to throw caution into the wind and run into the 15 purples anyway.
Open up with Thunderclap, and people generally get the idea where your 'brute' is heading -
