Ok this is the last time I sign up for any TFs in the forums because everytime I do RL gets in the way

This time GF has been given a last minute late shift tonight which means I'm going to have to drive her to work and not only miss the start of the TF but won't be back till about 9.30 - so no point in the team hanging round for me for a late start

All i can say is there are some very scary people out there. I'm gonna have nightmares tonight.

I have 24 toons, about half male and half female. The sex of the toon depends on the type of character I want the toon to be, backstory and what I feel would be better for the "look" of the build.

The only thing I noticed the first time I had a female toon was that finding a team seemed to be a lot easier.

Now 16 months into the game a lot of peeps know who I am anyway.

Oh, just remembered someone did try and hit on me once. He ran to the hills screeming when I pointed out that "just because the toon is female, doesn't mean I am"

Apart from that no problems at all. Besides, the amount of time spent playing this I'd rather stare at a female backside than a male

Thank you Mother for the list of books. I often see books and wonder just how good they really are. The only book I purchased in the passed was the "How to ... " one based on many peoples feedback. Having this kind of feedback on other books will help me a great deal.

Your comments about the the light/shadow I fully agree with. I think atm I'm playing a bit "safe" but as I gain more confidence I'll probably start getting a bit bolder with my colouring.

Well it's been a loooooooong time in the making but I have finally managed to complete a colourisation of MaxPowerz. Only my third piece of work like this. Surprisingly the hardest part was the belt - and I'm still not happy. There is a lot more I would have liked to have done but my skills atm are not up to the images in my head

As always all comments welcomed. My next project is some of BlackDoves line-art.

Another fantastic piece as always. In some respects you make me sick (in a good way you understand) but at the same time you continually inspire me to attempt my own piece of work. My drawing skills are pretty [censored] atm so quite a learning process for me atm. I recently purchased "How to draw comics the Marvel way" and am still on the stick figures section I've also been practising digital colouring with line art I find online. Two examples can be found in this thread; my digital colouring

Which brings me to a request. From the pencil and ink pieces currently on your site could I have your permission to practice my digital colouring? I would, of course, never publicise the work or share it with anyone, it would purely be just for my own development skill. I'll understand if you say no of course.

Once again, fantastic work and I eagerly await your next piece (and may one day save up enough pennies to commission one of my own )

We are a Medieval/Fantasy themed Super Group (SG) on Defiant.

The founders of the SG are old veterans from Union, who want to try out Defiant and find some new friends and have some good times.

We don't have too many members so far but with your help we hope to get some new ones soon.

As we are a themed based SG it’s quite hard to get new members so we decided to create a website to present ourselves and the SG in the hope to generate some interest. We have also decided to post here in the forums.

We are looking for all types of players, we welcome RP but it’s not a must.

I'm affraid I won't be there again this wednesday as the "crisis" is still going on and I'm still not at home. Following the success of the Bio Girl pick I coloured Bio Girl herself asked me to colour a piece of fan art from the uncannyxmen website. The art is of Psylocke. The origninal lineart can be found here (drawn by a chap calling himself claydaddy) and my digital colouring interpretation can be found here.

Would love to hear comments/feedback. Keep in mind this is only my second piece.

Like I mentioned in an earlier post, due to a crisis I'm going through atm I'm not able to play tonight. In fact I'm not actually staying at home for a while

Please keep your eyes open for Kitty Storm, an ALT of Bio Girl (who you teamed with the other night along with myself as FrIce).

She is unfortuanlty Magic in origin (alt was created way before The Experiment just never used), but we have both cleverly re-written her backstory to fit in with the feel of the SG.

If you don't see her about as Kitty Storm please give Bio Girl a shout direct as she would love to join in the fun, especially after what I have said about how much fun we had.

Yup, never done it before in my life. Took me about 4 hours in total to colour that pic to the standard it is.

As Bio stated this is the very first time I've ever attempted to digitally colour a piece of line art but after folowing a tutorial posted in another thread I found I had a bit of a flare for it. Now comes the serious practice sessions.

So ..... here comes the request. If anyone has a lineart from the either of the shows they would like coloured then I could do with the practice. Just leave a message here and I'll PM you back. Keep in mind that I am in fulltime employment so it could be some time before you see a finished piece.
