It says that Canadian Residents will also have to answer a mathematical problem in order to claim their prize. Like, erm, Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?
It's a standard part of most Canadian competitions; some sort of law forces them to add it in. I think it's to make sure the competition is a test of skill and not classed as gambling, or something like that.

in the hole ime i been with coh (since day 1) the eu's most expensive prize handed out was a couple of time cards so dont expect to se any prizes close to them over here we just aint worth that much

Actually, the biggest prize in the EU so far was an IPod for each member of the the winning teams in S4. So that's 10 Ipods in total.
iPod Nano's, wasn't it?
Ooooh that's nice prices. Last years competition was a let down anyway, my favorite costume didn't even win. 
The S4 prizes were bigger than any prize ever handed out for a US competition.
