  3. I always doubted this change was a good thing, was nice to see the numbers on it. Those of you who say this change was underhanded though, I think you are giving the devs too much credit. Wayyy too much credit.
  4. Damage resistance debuff has little to do with the global defense nerf...if anything, I would expect a nerf to -acc debuffs.

    I've seen more than a few people crying for Ice Tankers to have their own place to give feedback. And since we've already planned to change Unyielding some, a few think we're ignoring Ice in favor of Invulnerabilty. So I wanted to start this thread.

    Here's a couple of changes coming that I think will help:

    Reduced Accuracy of Minion level Turrets from 75% to 58%.
    Reduced Accuracy of Lieutenant level Turrets from 94% to 65%.
    Reduced Accuracy of Boss level Turrets from 113% to 75%.
    Reduced Accuracy of Snipers from 75% to 65%.
    Reduced Accuracy of Archvillains from 90% to 75%.
    Reduced Accuracy of Giant Monsters from 90% to 75%.
    Reduced Accuracy of Monument Minions from 75% to 58%.
    Reduced Accuracy of Rularuu Bosses from 90% to 75%.

    Yeah I'm sure Circeus was a big help there States, after all, you totally addressed his concerns. /sigh

    Maybe its better if you just don't post anything, if you think this is helping Ice Tankers, that isn't very reassuring.

    Lets do a test tonight...1 slot in superspeed, one of us puts 1 hammy travel, the other puts a +3 or +2 run speed and we will see which is faster. (I haven't tested this yet.) Unless you are 100% sure, that is.

    Hami enhancements are 50% better than SOs. Even if you are only using one portion of it. No doubt about it.

    [/ QUOTE ]You are wrong. Jonbo and I just tested it today, and a 50++ run speed was easily beating a single 50 hammy travel. We were both using swift, both of us were level 50.

    edit: this was in super speed, by the way.

    Currently, if you set up a match with the "No Travel Powers" ground rule then:

    Your ground speed is capped at Sprint speed.

    Your jump height is capped at slightly above normal jump height.

    No beneficial teleportation (Teleport, Recall Friend, Warshade/Dwarf 'port, etc.). Wormhole and Teleport Foe still work.

    No flight.

    You -still- recieve any of the other benefits those powers give you, like Combat Jumping and Hover add to your defense. You can toggle them on for the defense bonus, but you won't get the movement power.

    Things that were put into powers as side effects to counter certain game-created condiitions (off the top of my head, the stealth inherent in Super Speed) are NOT given to you in the Arena. If you want any stealth in PvP, you need to be using a stealth-based power.

    Of course, this is all subject to change.

It just dosn't seem right to me. Now, if we could get some kind of cheer animation with big money in our hands, then we might be on to something.
  12. Do you have any idea how many people would quit if they took out powerleveling? A great deal.

    This is one of the things that makes the kneejerk nerfs bearable, that you can just make another character, but not have to grind for hundreds of hours to get him to a playable level.
