Things like GG is what I would class as generic RP. Dropping stuff like plots, planned RP, rarely works there BECAUSE of its generic nature. You want something like GG to happen in the RWZ? By all means try, but don't be disappointed when it doesn't take off.

RWZ is useless for generic RP due to the level restriction. Only people with chars at 35+ can go, and RP toons have a tendency to be lower...

It's fine for specific RP use, but for the "turn up and play" style, it's useless.

Well, first of all, you will need a US account to play on the US servers. Without it, you won't be able to join your friends.

As for the connecting issue, sounds like a firewall problem.

Browse to the game folder and locate the correct EXE, then right click drag it to the desktop and choose "Create shortcut" from the popup menu.

If the EXE is missing, there's a sticky post near the top of this section telling you how to get it.

Check any custom mobs too. Paragraph breaks in their descriptions cause problems too.

It's probably down to paragraph breaks. Click on the error text and it'll take you to exactly where the problem lies.

It certainly looks very nice, and includes some things we've been asking for for a very long time, such as a proper cloak and especially costume change emotes.

But I have a question. Are we moving over to ONLY getting new costume pieces and emotes via paid-for addon packs? Seeing as we didn't get any free ones in this issue, which is pretty unusual...

You shouldn't need to copy any files. Just create a character on an English server and your arcs will still be there for you to publish.

Personally, I suspect some kind of legal shenanigans when Cryptic sold the IP to NCSoft. IIRC, the City Vault was started before this sale, and news of it pretty much vanished after the sale... I don't think we'll EVER see it.

There's a very simple reason why they don't want trial accounts creating arcs. Orphaned arcs. They don't want potentially loads of arcs uploaded by people who aren't going to pay to play the game...

It's done this randomly for at least 4 years...
