One thing about the compo... At Brighton I chatted with the girl who actually decided the winner (Busted Bridger!). She was leaving a few weeks later to return to Uni, so I guess we've not heard simply because they've no-one to do it!

Bridger... Can we PLEASE have some news on this? Just... Cancel the compo... Leaving it like this is just not on...

We have a cirque GC channel so that we can still get hold of people IC when they're playing their alts. Any OOC stuff is dealt with in (( )). And that usually get's Zero moaning...

This is done because, IC, the SG chat is a mental link shared between all members of the Cirque (for communication only). So it makes sense that we can still contact each other even if the player is on an alt that's not in the Cirque.


Using two GC channels for an SG though, is just overkill IMO!

I can understand a couple of bad experiences putting you off Rock_Eagle... TBH, I find myself a little irritated that someone did this to you.

Not for the being the rude part, I'm sure you dealt with that easily enough! No, for the fact that one or two persons actions put someone off of going back to GG. Not going there cause it's not your cup of tea I can understand. Not going there cause someone was an [censored] to you though...

We're a friendly lot honest, most of us don't bite... Little circles of characters can and do form, which might seem difficult to penetrate at first, but honestly, they're not!

Can't say I can recollect incidences of people being rude to new characters at GG, but if it's happened twice to you, no wonder it soured you...

Might I ask what your toon names were?

That kinda hits the nail on the head there for GG you know. As much as possible, our characters are people, not just heroes! You don't just walk into a bunch of strangers and natter to them as if you'd known them years... They're strangers to you, so get to know them like you would strangers at any other social gathering...
