  1. Thank you Dinah Might, i was merely trying to point out you don't have to wait for Going Rogue to make your Pantheon of characters for the Preatorian arc.

Cherry has made a point i start out "snarky" and i will try to curb that in the future.

Loscota has done something similar to what i did and i am sure many of you have done the same. If you play the AE mission "The Divine Ones" you will find 7 of my alts and each one is from a different dimension.
  2. PHIRE duo's everything and enjoys it so don't worry about him. He has a favorite tactic that works for him. Let him enjoy his niche!

Shoot me plz, i am finding myself agreeing and understanding Elf (without a translator). What i really mean to say is Elf has been giving good advice and comments lately. I have 3 alts i am starting to use in PvP, my fav that is doing well is a Claw/WP scrapper (R4P4). I am learning by trial and error.

Each time i have been to RV this month i was met by 2-3 heroes and 2-3 villz and had a fun time. It is good fun when there is some balance. Heroes won the zone each time, we are doing our part. And special thanks to the villz for being gracious when they do stomp on me (hmmmm pavement tastes like licorice). There has been a vast improvement in pvp conduct lately.

Kudos to Hammers of Justice and Silent-Stealth for thier consistent patrols.
  3. Hate to break the news to you pro's, but if you haven't noticed alot of the villz pvp'ers are the same ones who did/do hero pvp. Teamwork still applies they just switched sides.

Translation: Hero sg has vg affiliate and switch to villz when bored.
  4. Hmmm maybe because i am not an old time vet i am still trying to enjoy what is already here and want to see what was broken fixed and improved. But i can see your point. The devs want and need to move forward. You guys have probably played the old content to death and really need some new excitement.

This new edition does sound very innovative and i hope this edition runs a lot more smoothly than the past ones. With Cimerora and Ouroboros the devs have already proved they are masters at worldbuilding. Let's hope that "Going Rogue" has that same feel and quality.
  5. Too late, i long ago made Praetorian Plague (Emp/Rad Defender), there is no reason to wait for going rogue. Since i rarely play redside this next edition is all hype, i have no interest in it. With AE you could also write your own praetorian stories.

Good luck and lets hope (cross fingers) this edition actually works well. I would prefer they fix whats broken and re-release it such as ASN, Base Raids, IoP's, and add more stuff to AE, but i wouldnt count on it.
  6. THURSDAY!!!!!! GRRRR!!!!!!!!! I have to work

I wish you and the event good luck and lots of fun, wish i could make it.
  7. Nice party Neuronia, glad i came out to see some very nice costumes. You did a wonderful job as hostess.

Big surprise was Alien Wonka who tried for Worst Costume but actually i do not think he realized how much a really scary monster he had created, i thought it was the best monster i had seen in ages.
  8. No amount of advertising helps appearantly. In this and the 8 Billion thread the details were given to you and UHB channel had it advertised. I talked to you personally Force about it multiple times so i do not know why you are posting. I talked to several leaders.

You have lots of time to pull a great team together for Dec. 13th and you have missions to use as a guide. There is no valid excuses for you guys not to be prepared.

As for AOW competing, this is an AOW event made for the sg in which the public is also invited. If you dont think you can pull a team together and want to join a great team then obviously join in ALL-OUT-WAR!
  9. Since everyone is given the same information at the same time and the event is based on the teams skill there can be no preferential treatment. you have weeks to get ready for the event.

The big event Dec. 13th will have the specific mission announced just as the teams are going to start it. That way no one has an advantage or can start ahead of the others.

As for who will test it, i will select a group of 7 people from outside AOW who will not be competing such as Ra'Ush of the Vengeful Pharoahs and SHiFTeR of IIIIII sg's. I intend to ask them but have not done so yet, so plz do not harass them.
  10. oops i think i misread Flash's post.

If i were to be in a competition i would probably go with AOW first since it is my primary sg. As for the other AOW members they have alts in a few sg's and have the tough decision on choosing which one to represent. I feel they should go to the sg that has the best team forming.

If AOW had a full team and no room for me and someone from another sg such as HoJ asked me to bring Felecia onto the team then yes i would switch. But i am not asking others to take thier main to another sg, i am asking you to get together, form a team and work on characters that can help each other.

I am promoting Teamwork, Friendship, and Fun. I hope you will find a new use for an old character or try something new.
  11. Thanks for clarifying things Dave.

White Hot Flash: I host AOW events so i do not enter them. I act nuetral to all parties and give the same information to everyone at the same time here in the forums, broadcast in game (broadcast in Atlas and PI and use Request channel), on UHB Channel, and i send tells to members and leaders of most sg's since they are on my global.

I do provide the most infl. for the prizes but i do recieve large donations from many of the other members because they too care about making the community fun. If your wondering who just look at who won the last ae challenge. After all the donations they gave me, they were really just winning some of thier money back.

Hypothetical: if an organization (ex. PERC) or sg that i respect (ex. UHB or HoJ) puts on an event and needs one of my characters in another sg would i do it? Why not? I would do it. I have never asked anyone to do anything i would not do myself.

AOW members team together and work together and compete together, having fun with people you like is partly what being in the same sg is all about.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

What i have been saying from the start is get a group of about 8 people together in the same sg (doesnt matter which one), team together and find a build that works for you AND the team, play with all the options! You have several weeks before the big event. I hope this will help people enjoy new builds they havent had a chance to use and build a group of friends and a great team.

If your a soloist just ignore my comments build your best character and still come out to compete. You have a good chance of still winning something.
  12. Sorry Dark Friar, i do apologize, i need to learn netiquette. I write as i think and i do not hold back much. Thanks for keeping me straight.

Cherry, anyone could have prepped for this, it was well advertised in advance, so AOW had one advantage - they were SMART enough to bring a good blend of heroes and plenty of them (a full team).
Dave does well and has been on your team before, you could easily bring a team to the event, so he is a pro, not AOW's secret weapon since he would willingly help you as well! "Dave is his own man!" and AOW is privelidged to have him part-time.

I hope the Stoned Templars will come out in force to the next one. You have a great speed team and with Dave Mebs, Fanged Knight and War-Admiral i know you guys can Rock!

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I hope you guys can see now the point i was making when i created this event. There is no excuse or reason you guys cannot put one alt each in the same sg as your friends and work together to accomplish things such as the AE Challenge! You have 12+ alts so you can spare one to help your friends!

Before anyone says why dont i do it - i obviously do! People ask why i would have 1-4 alts outside AOW, well because i am community minded and help people who deserve it! You can be dedicated to an sg but still help your friends!
  13. People complained i posted the events way to far in advance and i advertise them too much. Now you know why i do it, so everyone who wants to prepare can be ready. All of you were very much aware of the event and what would be involved.

With so many members in AOW to not include them would be very wronge. Not to mention this is an AOW event and inviting the public is a bonus for you guys. We could have run it just for members but AOW is about helping the public too, we are a Supergroup not a charity foundation. We are trying to include you in our sg's fun events so make the most of it.

I have always run fun and FAIR events. Not once have i allowed cheating. Never have i favored my sg over others in events. To ensure i dont cheat to your satisfaction i usually have a co-judge from outside sg's to keep an eye on me, something i dont have to do, but i do it for your benefit. 2 years running 1-4 events per month you should trust my judgement by now.

Now that i have finished with the Drama - Let's talk about doing another event, Dec. 13th is a long way off. If you guys want one more 800 Million AE Challenge in November we can do it but i want to know you guys want one.
Nov. 22nd at 9pm est looks to be best. If you have a better date and time for your sg let me know and we will try to work something out. This will give sg's time to prep for the event, use ID #334806 as a guide as to what to expect.

AOW won the event primarily because they were smart enough to bring 8 ppl and spread them out covering more ground. There is no way favoritism could have been applied. All of you were informed long ago about the event and the missions used to prep for it. You could have gotten involved and been prepared.

PoN, HoJ, and AOW are competitive so expect lots of fun and close speed times recorded in the next event.

Special note to Protectors of Neverland - Actions speak louder than words (something i always say) and Budweiser and his crew are making me eat my words. I have noticed more members of PoN active on teams, i saw members out in atlas explaining keymapping and e-motes to new people with NO sg, and PoN has been active in events from many different organizations, so........WOW! I am impressed. Until now i would not team with a member of PoN, but now they are active in the community so i will help any member of PoN who needs me!

Oh i noticed someone asked who tested these events. That would have been the sg's Guardian Wolf Pack and EXTREME TEAM, and yes PHIRE and i did a test run together. Thought you should know i am still trying to be fair. But anyone could have tested it and give suggestions. I am still open to suggestions for the next one as well.

Thanks to Guardian Wolf Pack sg for going through 5 maps to find a suitable one for the event (some maps are glitched)! Thanks to EXTREME TEAM for making sure the event would be tough enough and long enough. Thanks to PHIRE for running it through with me to see if it would work at all (she and i did the final run through and i made the final changes after she left just to give her a few surprises - your welcome with the Crey Scorpinoid Deathstalker, bet you didnt see that coming ).
  14. I balance the settings according to the size and make-up of the team. The more people on my team that are maxed out the higher i set the difficulty. Dying alot can kill the teams morale so i try to find balance. I run a lot of teams.

Solo on my 50's, scrapper, or tank i go with +4/1.
    Lower level squishey's i go with +1/1 or +2/1.

As to why i set things backwards with +4/1 instead of +1/4 is simply that i prefer to face tougher opponents in smaller numbers. I play mainly Emps which have great versatility but not as much damage dealing so larger numbers of bad guys can alpha strike you easier than if you were a scrapper or tank.

I rarely play scrappers or tanks i find them boring (run up and aggro, stand still and strike) if i wanted hack and slash i would go play WoW or better yet Lineage 2 which has a far superior setting and beautiful characters. But when i do play them i use +4/4.

I prefer to speed through mobs and keep moving, which is still effective for getting good xp and drops but far less boring. Speed rules!

No i am not knocking anyone for wanting to tank huge mobs, most people do it. I just don't have the patience to sit still for long periods of time. There is more than one playstyle, we should respect our differences because both methods work well.

The only time i like to sit for awhile and battle is against an Arch-Villian. When you (and team) finally bring down a very tough opponent after a long battle is very satisfying.
  15. Since the thread is still here i came back to it to report that the 800 Million AE Challenge went well. The 8 Billion AE Challenge will be held on schedule and despite whatever was said or happened in the past, that is what it is, the past. Time to learn from it and move on.

You have plenty of time to prepare for the event. Like the 800 Million AE Challenge there will be 1 Map, Plenty of AV's, and some distractions such as Search, Rescues, and Escorts.
To see what i am talking about, the mission used was The Army Of Phaedra (ID 334806). The event will run 30-60 minutes.

We will have lots of people there and many AOW members no matter what you say in these posts, so........

There will be many events the whole day so come out and enjoy yourself.

Dec. 13th at 9pm est we will run the AE Challenge. We will hold a CC, PvP, and Gladiator event earlier in the day.
  16. I love MA, i have many great stories and have even started events planned around it (The AE CHALLENGE).

Try out the my series starting with Illicit Affair (ID 39278) this is a series based on our supergroup ALL-OUT-WAR. My personal story is The Divine Ones (ID 304262). If you want to see what the latest 800 Million AE Challenge was like try (ID 334806) The Army Of Phaedra. The next challenge is 8 Billion and will be run on Dec. 13th at 9pm est.

    AE has lots to offer.

Starting January 1st we will be running an ae writers competition. We will give out a category and have people from ALL the servers send in thier entries to be judged for great prizes.

I team with great people and try great stories from MA, what is there not to love

In the future MA might recieve more attention and i am looking forward to it!
  17. This is a reprint from the AOW website.

    Congratz:

    WINNERS (800 Million): TEAM: ALL-OUT-WAR (31 minutes)
    Leader: Apochrypha
    Prixy
    Illyana Radburner (Battling Beastman)
    Solarflames
    Elite Tank (Shaawing)
    Haarvey (Darkness Explosion)
    Fear My Sword
    Destroyer of AV's (Dave Mebs)

2nd place (400 Million): TEAM: PROTECTORS OF NEVERLAND (37 minutes)
    Leader: Xx13udweiserxX
    Toxic Shock Syndrome
    Iron Short Circuit
    Casey's Cliffhanger

3rd place (200 Million): TEAM: HAMMERS OF JUSTICE (45 minutes)
    Leader: DeliCate IcePHIRE
    DeliKate IcePHIRE
    Bullet McGraw

4th place (100 Million): TEAM: CROWD CONTROL COMMANDOES (47 minutes)
    Silent-Stealth (solo)

5th place (50 Million): TEAM: CONFUSION (default)
    Lightningcat (solo)

    6th place (50 Million): TEAM: ALL-OUT-WAR-CYBERTECH (default)
    Gadgetter (solo)

My comments: The event ran very well and many had a good time.
Dave Mebs is a RINGER! He has won all 3 events for 3 different sg's. That speaks volumes about his skills.
Protectors of Neverland had 4 people. If they would have had 8 they would have had a better time.
Hammers started late and still finished well so i am sure AOW, PoN and HoJ will run great competition at the next event.
    4 teams quit.
default means that after the top 4 sg's made it and the other 4 quit, the remaining 2 teams were given a break and given thier prizes.
The members of AOW spent time teaming and enjoying each others company for a couple of weeks and were prepared for this event, BIG CONGRATZ and well done.
  18. I was convinced by several prominent sg leaders to tone it down and remember what we stand for. AOW is here as a community sg and as such we should not let a few players change who we are. AOW Events are now back open to the public.

The AOW 800 MILLION AE CHALLENGE will still go on as planned, the rules still the same.
The 10 fastest teams through the ae mission ID 334806 (already published) The Army Of Phaedra wins prizes. Grand Prize up to 800 MILLION.

Pay scale for team is 100 million per member on the team. 2nd place finishers would get 50 million per member. 3rd place 25 million each. 4th place 10 million each. 5th-10th place would still win 5 million each. The event should last 20-60 minutes.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

IMPORTANT: The event date has been changed to Oct 18th (Sunday) at 9pm est.

The reasons for the change is:
AOW sg leaders cannot make it:
    Solarflames is at a wedding
    Shaawiing is working (military)
    Apocrypha will be with family
Felecia Divine will be with grandmother moving furniture

and we cant forget this is double xp weekend so HAVE FUN THAT IS AN ORDER

remember the only catch to the event is teams must be made up of sg members only. Teams are made of 1-8 players, so yes, you can solo this.
  19. Saturday afternoon at 4pm est ALL-OUT-WAR is already running a static team called Lords Of War, this was origionally created by Orgo in Strike-Force and AOW has revived it.

Characters must all have Archery, Trick Arrow, Devices, or Traps.
Contact Gadgetter (Capt. Scotland, Crey Freezbot, Darklin Wizard) or Gunmetal Queen (Me) for an invite. We can run more than one team at the same time, since we are currently at level 25 we will help you guys catch up. We are all BLASTERS at the moment and we have steamrollered all bad guys so far with little resistance, this team ROCKS!

    Nibbles at Night

I have not listened to your show but will tune in this week, i just wanted to say CONGRATZ on being on KJSR and Cherry makes the show sound fun.

I also want to say CONGRATZ to your new radio mate Dazz Marvelous. He rocks in-game, i am looking forward to hearing his show as well.

Update, when i posted this 3 pages of posts popped up at the same time, so i see Dazz has posted already. Seems everyone is here at the same time
  21. Hmmmm, i read this thread a little late. If you need extra support then contact a member of ALL-OUT-WAR in game since we have members on almost at all hours of the day that should not be a problem.

ALL-OUT-WAR has 2 static teams running and about to start another one since our Fire Static Team has hit level 50.

Fire Team: All fire based powers, ours had Fire Blaster, Fire Scrapper, Fire Tank, Fire/Emp (Divine Witch), Fire/Force, Fire/Storm, Fire/Kin, and Fire/Rad. This team rolls extremely well!

Lords Of War: Run by Capt. Scotland (Crey Freezebot, Darklin Wizard) This team took the following powers: Archery, Trick Arrow, Devices, and Traps. Yes all are Blasters. Fast and Furious and tons of Fun! We are still running about level 35 if your interested in joining. My character is Gunmetal Queen (Assault/Device). Capt. Scotlands character is Gadgetter (archer).

Yes it is true AOW is an inactive sg with no one in it (oozing sarcasm here) so contact the following in-game.

Solar Fire Sr. (A-Jay), Solarflames, Pyreklism, Fire Sword Scrapper (Kassey), Burnin Rad (shaawing), Illyana Radburner (Battling Beastman), Gadgetter (Capt. Scotland), Apocrypha, Frozen Flafatron, White Raven 724, Lost Warlock (Toxic Striker), SENSELESS, Fallen Savior, Prixy and anyone with ALL-OUT-WAR above their names. There are many i have not added to this list, but it will help you find people who can help you and get teams going.

As for myself i only help people who are team friendly. I do not help people who do not respect others, such as those who continually harass people in PvP Zones and people who constantly jump teams in the middle of missions and TF's. So no i will not help Templars of Steel, Protectors of Neverland, Untouchables, or EXILE! Or people who have been nasty such as Dark Friar or Sonic.

Use a little common sense and respect each other and i will be more than willing to help you!

If you want to get on regular static teams, or just have fun with a great group of people get an ALT and join ALL-OUT-WAR, we will help you get your character to where you want to be!

Thanks for listening this is my tirade for the day

Remember: HAVE FUN THAT IS AN ORDER
  22. OMG! CONGRATZ DAZZ!!!!!!!

I normally do not bother with internet radio because of all the other things in my life but i will tune into Nibbz and your program.

I will send you some requests later and if you need help with prizes AOW always helps worthwhile causes that help the community all you have to do is ask
  23. The answer to this question is : BOTH!

Many times players go into a TF and find they are short damage or it is too slow because they did not bring a healer or find Ghost Widow siphoning off the scrappers (STF) or other such problems.

You can be the best player(s) in the world but if you do not have the right character(s) for the mission then your skills do not matter.

This is important because people will get frustrated and leave. If the players are really good they will be willing to compensate and get the character that will best help the team.

Having people that are willing to get along and have fun is paramount, but having the right blend of power sets makes the whole mission more enjoyable.
  24. Felecia_Divine

    The way I feel!

LMFAO, it took you guys 2 years but now you are saying EXACTLY what i have been saying. Welcome to my world, and i only use one account and don't farm for my IO's (maybe i should have but then the game would be "work" and that is not why i am here).

This thread is hilarious considering you guys are the pvp junkies that made pvp NOT enjoyable.

Go ahead and respond, as usual, i know better than to return to a thread like this.
  25. Interesting bit of posts, i am actually pleasantly surprised. I expected the typical hate mail. Maybe there is hope for you guys, maybe not.

If you were half decent people you could have said "You Are Wrong About People Fel!" but i would like to hear someone say Let's Work On Something Together or Let's Have More Fun Events. I am constantly trying to get people to help each other (so why does everyone find this so offensive?).

I am sorry but not one of you would accept or put up with the way the rest of you are acting, so why should i!

The EXACT MESSAGE i got from Cherry-2000 was "i am dropping 3 AOW divisions because we do not see very many messages in coalition and want to make room for some friends sg's"

There is no-one or supergroup that would NOT take offence to this kind of message, so for all of you to attack my character, shows a lack of your own, i am trying to look out for the best interests of our group.

The difference between me and all of you is i back my words with actions: If the other 6 leaders of AOW demand it, i will step down as coalition manager, something none of you would do.

ALL-OUT-WAR is the only true COMMUNITY SG in existance.

Toxic you have a right to your opinion, i rely on you to keep me honest, i will consider your words as always, think about my words and actions then get back to me. We went through this before when we dropped PoN, DG, FS, and ToS from coalition, this is not any different, having non-AOW divisions in coalition does not help our own sg grow. Then people complain we are not big enough, you can't have it both ways.

The reason i asked the mods to cancel the threads should be obvious. The devs have always tried to clear memory space. This thread is done so....................................

We are ALL here to have fun, so let's go out and have FUN!

I just noticed cat's post: Odd you would recommend sg's that have ignored them all this time. You want to recruit but not to actually help them, which is why AOW exists in the first place.
