Let ppl know what ideas you have that you and others would enjoy, such as a monthly Hunt GM's day, or PvP Tourney, or Gladiator Tourney.

Every 2 weeks Cobalt Azurean and i host a RWZ Raid, and once in awhile i hear Amygdala and Cobalt host a Hami-Raid. This is the type of things i would like to see discussed here!

Hmmm Maybe an MA arc or ITF timed to see which group or individual can complete it fastest contest? I think i read that idea in a release by PERC or PvPEC (one of CriticalKats ideas?). Sounds like a good idea though.

Tog, i noticed you dont have an ARC to cover lvl 20-30. You might want to remake one to make a smooth transition for ppl playing straight through your stories. Just a thought.

Just another thought - Shay - you could always make a tutorial to run your new recruits through. This will show off darkguard stories! Give the new ppl a sense that they belong and are a part of something bigger within DarkGuard Academy. MA can be a great tool to use.

If you need help with those trials and tf's let me know, weekends are best for me. Come to the RWZ Raid sundays, they are a blast!

If you still need an sg ask Battling Beastman to invite you to ALL-OUT-WAR, he has a few alts there. BB is the best badge-hunter i have ever met and runs TF's extremely well, i have only done 1 TF successfully without him! I owe BB more than i can ever repay, glad you met and ran into him, but since he has major villians i should not be surprised you already know him! Actually you can ask any member of AOW for an invite.

If AOW seems to intimidating an sg for you to join, i recommend joining The Hammers Of Justice, or United Heroes Brigade. HoJ is very active and team oriented, great group of ppl.

To get into AOW you have to get on one of our teams and prove you are a caring team based hero first before you even get an invite OR you have to request an invite, there is no other way to get into AOW!

Thank you for your kind words Sonic, and congratz on your Bio success with AFRO, and your placement in the top 10 main event with HORDESMAN (I did not realize those were yours, well done).

I think it truly shows the character of Prof, and your sg to make an arc with him as a tribute. Post it here and i will add it to our websites MA list. We may not get to know him but we will at least have a taste of his enduring legacy.

Why do you guys keep posting without reading? I did say we are NOT recruiting during these events and they are for the purpose of bringing ppl together! At no time did i say join our sg!

As for promoting the sg, this event has been going on with great turnouts since we started the sg and it has not brought us a single member. All our members were recruited while teaming with other members.

This thread is for the purpose of giving you guys a place to state what kind of events you would like to see.

As for attaching the AOW name to it, if we host it, we get our name attached to it! If you guys want to host your own event then please do so!

PERC and PvPEC i hear already does hold regular events, but for my convenience i schedule events at a time i can always be on and make it a regular monthly event.

Check the supergroup recruitment area and see what types of sg's are on each server and which groups appeal to you. All the servers are active. Just pick one, go to it, and talk to all the people there to get a feel for it.
I avoid the 2 most active servers (i dont want the lag) and i have heard great things about Repeat Offenders and Knights of Paragon which are not on my home server.
But Champion server is my home, we have a great community, and drop by any time
I am Canadian and we have the same time zones as the U.S., Champion hosts many countries - Canada, New Zealand, Korea, Australia, Scotland, and the U.S. (both coasts) are very active here.

There are many ways to win a war, brute force is but one small component.

I am a team heroine, and do not use Archery, but i have a Stone Tank (AOW Cheerleader) and can solo very well. I recommend you try both as well, this will let you get a feel for what your playstyle is.

Rooted, Earth's Embrace, Taunt, Stone Fist, and all 3 Stone Hammer attacks are what i use most. Superspeed also helps. Drop embrace, hit ss and run into the next crowd hit embrace and rooted and voila- speed and effectiveness. Get Stamina (Fitness) as soon as possible (lvl 15-30) Stone tanks are endurance hogs.

You will have to practice recognizing your opponents as well, taunt wont bring in ranged attackers into melee range and since you wont have ranged attacks dont be afraid to drop rooted and embrace to charge right at them.

I always recommend a person try all of the primary and secondary powers, then when you recognize which powers you use and those you see are ineffective to your playstyle, then do your first respec and switch your powers. Adding Epic Powers after you respec will let you choose powers that are obviously going to add to your character - example - if you have tons of defence adding another defence power is pointless, but getting a ranged power and some offence would help.

There is a players guide section and a section for Tank Builds in the Forums, you might want to do a little research.

The devs read these threads and ask for feedback. They see what seems to be the most popular ideas and run with it. Dealing with thousands of ideas, something will be left out. Keep stating your opinion and hopefully soon you will be in the majority and your changes will come!
Personally i am fighting for what has been given to us to be fixed, i am not looking for new content, there is much to be reworked, but sadly i am in the minority.
I want base raiding, mission teleport, IoP's, ASN, and MA (dc'ing and lag problems) fixed! I want new base decore! Also not fond of the Hollows changes (first too many bad guys close together, now there are tons of different badguys and none of the ones needed for missions, heaven forbid 2 heroes should do the same missions at the same time or right after each other).

Battler is right - Altaholic should be added to the list (similar to Wanderer but definately many players fall into this category as well).

The supergroup ALL-OUT-WAR is dedicated to helping all it's members enjoy all aspects of CoH. But we also make it our business to also help the public!

AOW MONTHLY 25 MILLION COSTUME CONTEST- First saturday of each month at 7pm est. in Atlas Park under the Atlas Satue.

This sg was formed Dec. 15th/07 and Jan. 1st the first AOW event was started and prevails to this day.

The purpose of this event was to get the public interested in making better costumes and getting people together to chat and make new friends.

Since then we have included the Under Level 20 CC and Biography contest to make it fair to new heroes and those who like to write great bios. Both these events have a top prize of 10 Million.

All 3 contests have a top 10 list of winners and you can win all 3 events.

To make the event fair a second judge from outside AOW is asked to help. The judge each month is from a different sg, so no one can say a specific alliance has been formed.

We do not recruit during an event, this is for the public to enjoy each others company.

We had a monthly PvP Event and a Monthly Gladiator Event. The PvP Event was stopped because of a lack of interest (only 2-8 people showed up each month). If enough interest is shown, AOW is willing to host the event again 2nd sat. of each month at 7pm est.

The Gladiator Event had lots of ppl show up but who could not really compete because of a lack of gladiators. My 3 Shivans, 3 Freakshow Tanks, and deadly Cog ruled for months until Flafatron showed up with Longbow Warden 2's, Swift Steels, and Crane Enforcers which then ruled from then on. Before this event can be brought back, ppl will need to work together to get gladiators so no one person rules consistantly. If there is an interest in gladiators again, we will restart this event as well 3rd sat. of each month at 7pm est.

The times listed is for my convenience, i am sure others want events at another time, we will need someone else who is a leader to host events at other times.

If anyone has an idea for an event and wants our help, let us know in this thread!

Again PoN is bragging they can pawn new sg's and new ppl, we were 3 months old when you kicked our [censored] and the PvP Event like ALL AOW Events are to bring together people to have fun (not at others expense).

The PvP Event was cancelled because there was not enough ppl interested, like i said last night, if more people want the event restarted I would be willing to host again. 2nd sat. of each month at 7pm est for 25 Mill Grand Prize.
