  1. The clockwork one where you eventually save the family from the clockwork. Used an auto speed shop motif over the usual warehouse decor for the final mission (which was added as the original arc simply used the generic warehouse map for the final mission).

  3. It's so they can translate all of Stark's snarks into something culturally relateable and lip syncable.

That and finding a VA that can make the line "Chibi Kama" sound right coming out of Hulk's mouth.
  4. Maxx asinine? Just because you didn't grok it doesn't mean it's asinine.

  6. Okay then, well have fun with your new PC in two-ish weeks.
  7. $70? I only see $17 between your's and mine.

Or were you talking about the SSDs?
  8. At least 13 episodes to finish up Fringe is better than a comic book (which they promised if the show was canceled).

Yes and no. Vista does support an older verion of OpenGL (1.4) via a translation layer turning them into DirectX calls, this is slow. However they do allow full OpenGL drivers provided from card manufacturers that support later OpenGL versions. This game simply doesn't work if you try to use the Vista/Win 7 OpenGL to DirectX layer since I believe it needs OpenGL 2.0/3.0 to work properly.

Here is a MS blog post about Vista OpenGL support from 2006.
  10. This compares the two SSDs you were looking at. Basically the Force GT uses a faster kind of Flash memory so it can outperform the Agility 3 is certain benchmarks but compared to conventional hard drives, either will smoke one.

And you still have that damn internal USB hub. This is without it but still has the Bluetooth adapter.
  11. Deadman Wonderland was the better of the two tonight though hearing Hawkeye from FMA:B as the Makina was disturbing. Casshern Sins is going to take a while for it to grow on me.
  12. Thundercats was pretty good. Inazuma nailed the description.

Green Lantern was surprisingly good. Next week looks like this arc will start over again.

YJ:I - not quite girls night out but nice to see the "new" female members of the team perform. The whole Jaime control over the scarab is going to come to a head sooner than later I'm guessing. Little bugger solution to everything is shooting it with a plasma cannon. "There is no right answer to that question is there"

DC Shorts - First one looks like a serial version of Atom's adventure based on Sword of the Atom mini series. The second was a SBFF and in my opinion should have been the first of that series. "Here kitty kitty"
  13. So no comment on the mini-ep my previous post linked to, silly as it is.

It's a chicken and egg problem with SyFy original scripted programming. I think Eureka, Warehouse 13, Alphas and Being Human (NA version) are reasonably good series. Problem is the shows cost Vs ad revenue based on ratings. USA, same conglomerate controlling it as well as SyFy and Bravo, has a whole slew of original series that they either run 12 episodes a season or split a traditional series length every half year once they get their legs. Combine that with the ratings they get from NCIS and Law and Order marathons as filler, they don't need cheap "reality show" filler like SyFy or Bravo.

The problem with 500 channels isn't that there isn't anything on any of them, it's that it has divided the TV audience so few channels can afford original scripted programming so instead they all end up with cooking contests or looking through peoples trash for the one good item.

The problem with our current Engine is that it was made at a time when there were two competing APIs, OpenGL and Direct X. Now much like Betamax and VHS, one of them lost, nobody uses OpenGL anymore but CoH does.
Well nobody uses OpenGL except game engines from id Software. Or any game developed for the PS3. Or for the Mac.
  17. Okay first AMD's FX series of CPUs aren't really great for games. They are okay for multicore rendering or CPU based video compression but that's about it.

Second, why does everyone get the internal USB 2.0 hub? The 10 USB ports (8 - 2.0, 2 - 3.0) on the back panel aren't enough? Want Bluetooth? 2nd page, accessories, $12, save $17. But what about the Card reader? You get 6 USB (well 3 sets of 2 per connector) off of the motherboard. Case uses one, card reader another and you have one spare set internal.

As Hyper said you could get an Intel i5-3570K/Z77 based motherboard for around the same cost (only the motherboard and CPU is different). Actually, it's slightly less.

    AMD build
    Intel build

(I have no idea how long these links will work, weekend specials and all)

The price jump to the GTX 670 is still a bit, $183 more. I assume they are trying to liquidate their GTX 570 inventory. The 670 is around a third again faster than the 570 but uses 60 watts less power (power use = heat). And yes even at NewEgg it's 40-50% more expensive than the GTX 670 (roughly $130-150).

So to summarize: AMD CPU bad, Intel good; internal USB hub silly, Bluetooth dongle by itself is available on accessories page for $17 less than the combo with the silly internal hub; GTX 670 is a pricey upgrade no matter who you choose.

Lastly, CyberPowerPC prices do vary, sometimes a lot, depending on what customizer you start with. I picked the two generic customizers, you might be able to get a better price if pick one with the CPU and video card already picked or at least close.
  18. As for Propel, I found out we saw different items back when I first rolled a Grav Defender back in 2004 when I queried my teammates as to what they saw me tossing. Since then they've increased the number of items that can materialize so it increases the likelihood that even duos will see different items.

Hardly consider it a bug T. And honestly who has time in the middle of a battle to type out quips rather than mashing attacks.

That's the thing about manga, it ends. Sure there has been long standing series but most just run for a couple of years and then it's over. They rarely get rebooted, reimaged, retconed, etc. Sure one magical girl series is replaced by another. Same with boys fighting series and sports/game series. Where else other than Japan are you going to find popular series about the game Go or about baking breads and pastry along with baseball, classical music, clothing design, etc.?

Here we get a half a dozen series about Spider-Man or alternate universes with the same set of heroes but slightly different.
  20. As cool as a TV spot would be, at this point in the life of the game I think it would be more for us, the players, than garnering a bump of new and returning players. It would be something we can point to and proudly tell your uninterested friends that's the game I play.
