  1. Three hours of waiting and shuffling along with the queue saw Dr. Portia Carr reach the front, pay her entry fee and head into the convention centre. She'd wanted to fly in, but she knew that had she done so it may have given away her identity as Dishonesty. Granted, there were probably scores of felines with flight, but Portia wasn't taking any chances.

    Nor did she take any with what she wore. Not blessed with the lovely long legs that were a hallmark of most other catgirls, she'd avoided a skirt and gone instead for a loose-fitting pair of leaf green jeans and white polo shirt. Knowing she'd be walking and standing about a lot she'd also picked her most comfortable black slip-ons.

    She stood to one side as the flow of geeks, nerds and other metafans surged by her, casting her green eyes over the crowds. She knew by now she'd missed out on all the exclusive convention items, but that was fine. She was here for autographs; those of any Nuclear 90 she could find, and any feline hero or heroine.

    She didn't need to find a higher vantage point to spot the towering figure of Amy Zon looming over the heads of everyone around her, so she slipped through the crowd and made a beeline for Amy's table.

    Reaching it, she had a little wait before the fans before her had their keepsakes and it was with a cheery smile she reached the front.

    "Hey there," she opened with her tail behind her betraying her excitement. "May I have your autograph ma'am?"

    Edit now I have more time: Sorry for the eyemelting colour, I run with red boards and didn't consider how it'd look set to blue. Also on the Kinetics and other options, I'm not experienced with Mid's and lapsed into a focus on bonuses without thinking of actual effectivenes. I'll tweak what I have with your advice in mind, and thanks in advance.
  6. For the mental exercise more than a serious desire to shell out hundreds of millions, I did some Mid'sing. Can I ask for feedback on how well I did and whether there's space for improvement? Cheers.

  7. Aye. All is well in Shark's now. Really strange. Almost... spooky... o.O
  8. As titled, the Sharkhead zone is inaccessible from the outside, and nor can it be logged into. Attempts to enter the zone cause client lockup on loading screen. No other zones seem affected. Not limited to myself, as there are multiple others reporting the same problem. Have bugged and suggested they do the same.

But when I saw the group in passing last Hallowe'en, I about laughed fit to bust and had to get a shot of them all, and in finding it had to share it here.

    A a very nice camping/hunting knife from a friend in the Netherlands.
    To enjoy a x'mas meal with my sister and her son in her new house.
    To enjoy a good day spent watching live-action remakes of Death Note with my oldest friend.
    To enjoy the company of my children for an entire weekend, where I gave them a Very Loud Drum each for them to enjoy at my ex's house. (Muhhuhahahahaha!)
    To dodge a x'mas meal with my ex, her boyfriend, and her mother. (Your guess is as good as mine why I was invited; we aren't even friends.)
    A very cheap, very ugly Buddha statue, so cheap and ugly I can't bring myself to display it, regardless the figure it represents.
    To eat.
    To have a warm house.
    To enjoy time with my family.

  12. @Londoner; I ask you re-read the points to bear in mind I mentioned about season, time, etc. The activity level at this time of year is about what I remember it being this time last year, and the same time the year before that.

    @Rent; I'd welcome a server merge, if only to give people more choice in where they choose to play. But again not everything would stay the same. People would face moving supergroups, which would need building up from scratch (I know it's a side-effect of playing the game) and I also understand that people may choose not to rebuild the old groups, instead joining existing ones on whichever server they migrate to.

    To both of you I say I respect your perceptions on what is dead or not, but they do not mesh with my understanding of the term and shall bow out of this thread to let you carry on with it. Please, though, enjoy your game. I wish you sincere luck in finding teams.
  13. To have more options is a good thing. It will never not be. I only reject the opinion that EU is dead. It's just less populous than the US servers.

    Merge the EU and US serverbase, and you'll only have more less active servers with a top few with most of the activity when or if people pay to move chars about.

    I recognise people want to be where all the action is, but there will be people who don't want to move for various reasons like disbanding supergroups and so forth.

    I don't envy whomever is asked to find a solution to the doom.
  14. /search at this present minute shows 56 players on villain chars on Union. Searching on the hero side shows a further 86. That doesn't include people hidden from searches, obviously.

    Bear in mind there are still people working today.
    Bear in mind your experience and your opinion and perception is different from mine.

    It's not dead. People are gaming on the EU servers.

  21. I feel for Al, he's written some cracking arcs. I've stopped wanting to play with Mission Architect, purely because the Devs keep removing the best maps. Why spend all that time coming up with a decent story, picking the best locations out, adding in the objects, only for the Devs to invalidated the entire lot? Nothankyou.
