Do you badge? If you do, and the invasions award badges, you should be happy until the new badge smell wears off. After that you should ignore them and occasionally be annoyed when they happen in a zone you're trying to visit the market in or when you're on a Numina TF, just like with the other invasions. If you don't badge, or they don't award badges, skip step 1.

Ran a BaF today on Champion with two teams, because some people were refusing to run with more than that due to the lag. After that, we did another run where we had 18 people but one of the MMs from the first run left, so we only had one MM. The lag was better on the second run.
Also, lag owes me a MoLambda badge. Unless they "fixed" it to be stupid, then lag just owes me the badge for getting all the temps and using none. We had him down to 3 HP when it timed out, and the lag was atrocious once the reinforcements started piling up. -
Quote:I'll settle for new arcs just for villains, even if the zone is shared.hehe, I "can't wait" to see that new zone be a coop zone and then have all the villains say, "we need a new zone just for us!"
Vigilante arcs too please.
Quote:Why not? Have you ever wondered how the people living outside of Cole's Empire are doing? Don't you want to see the savage lands, to help those besieged or rule over them?
I'd rather rule someplace with indoor plumbing. -
Why not, it's not like it's being used for anything else during the trial.

Those "funbags" are the pinnacle of Anti-Matter engineering. He took the time to get them right, which is why she was less spectacularly endowed prior to issue 20.

Crimson could beat up Keith Nance without even showing up to the fight. Keith Nance would run away screaming like a little girl at the mere rumor that Crimson wants to beat him up.
Crimson is the Nick Fury of CoH. All the other super sekrit agent types can get in line to bow before his badassitude. Except for Indigo, who is his sidekick, and Viridian, who is the anti-Crimson.
As to why villains can beat him up in the RSF, the Longbow uniform automatically bestows a badassitude debuff on anyone who wears it. Because Longbow are dorks. -
Yeah, I pretty much figured that.
Still, it would be nice to have parallel arcs with a Rogue and Vigilante bent. For one, there aren't any real vigilante arcs in the game, although a few from Crimson and Indigo skirt very close to the line, and two, it would be easier to contrive these factions staying out of each other's way than with parallel hero and villain content. -
It's going to be a level 20-30 Praetorian zone because the devs are in love with Praetoria and seem to feel that level 20-30 desperately needs more content for people to do once, outlevel, and then go on to run the RWZ and Tina and Maria again to get to 50.

Quote:Those older contacts don't up and announce "hey, I'm new! Listen to me!!!!" They feel like part of a larger world. The new contacts don't.So... you hate every single contact in the game? I mean, they've not been built up either. And the police scanner and newspaper. I mean, why should you listen to them? And that guy getting mugged in the street, screw him. Bob's not gotten built up either, so you're not going to wander by and save him.
I want them to use existing NPCs rather than make up new ones because the existing NPCs, well, exist, and many of them have no background or characterization to speak of. Some of them have been given some in the tip missions, and that's great. There are plenty left. -
Quote:Admiral Sutter: since when does the conventional military do anything remotely useful in a comic book universe?Prometheus I bet- he did feel rather "shoved in at the last moment". I know he's there for plotline advancement.. but it does give off a very.. unfinished feel.
Ghoul-summoning chick in the Sutter TF, unless she showed up in one of the Praetorian arcs and then got PLd along with Riptide.
Exorcist: Who are you, and if you're so badass why did I get away with robbing your club blind?
Jenni Adair and Keith Nance: Who are you and why should I listen to you?
Dean McArthur and Leonard: Same, only double 'cause it's villains.
Roy Cooling: See Jenni and Keith.
Apex: What about your appearances in the comic suggests you'd join Vanguard and get promoted to the rank of task force giver outer?
Tin Mage at least makes some sense, and Morty and Vincent Ross are at least tied in to existing groups with known rogue elements.
Quote:But there is NO substance to Numina! So how could they hook-up??
Or is that a question I really do not want to have answered?? -
Quote:Hopefully it's one of the Rogue Isles Villains and they didn't just make up a new NPC when the didn't have to.Is this "Dr. Rebecca Colston" anybody that we've seen before? ParagonWiki has nothing.
Oh wait. This is issue 20. So she's probably a new NPC they made up when they didn't have to. -
So the WST for the week of May 9th....Numina?

Quote:It depends entirely on the map, the objectives in said map, and your luck with tickets. If the authors throws three bosses in a bank map, and you get tickets from all of them, you can exceed the ticket cap on x1. If you walk into a sparsely populated outdoor map, you may not get anywhere near the cap on x4.Lastly once my characters beef up a little bit I usually set the slider higher on the number of players my character is equal to. My biggest fear in that is the ticket map cap limit where you end up not getting all the tickets. I guess what I am asking for is what is the most you can set your difficulty to and come close to but not over the ticket cap for the maps. If anyone knows specifically how it works that would be a big help too.
Doubtful. I've used it quite a bit in my AE leveling project (level 35 atm, because I am easily distracted by shiny objects) and I often have to resort to the craptacular built-in search engine. -
Nicely done. Personally, I liked the base pics the best, but I admit I am biased.

Quote:Yeah, must be nice. My screen is a horrid mess on trials, with the league window and that stupid ENORMOUS objective window, and I just discovered today that the powers window's scrollbar sets back to somewhere around the middle position when you close and reopen the window. My main has a LOT of temp powers that I have to scroll past. Lag does not help here. Its actually kinda absurd I have nine power trays open *and* the actual power menu, but I have a fairly big screen so I can scale the gui to 75% (which is what that is above).
On a related note, if you're the one handling the grenades, HOLD FRICKIN' STILL so people can give them to you. Don't go rushing Marauder while demanding people hand over their grenades which they're still trying to find while lagging to crap and getting stabbed in the back by a Vicky. -
Quote:Well, I should be on a Lamba right now, but I'm not, because the prompt appeared for a second then vanished before I had a chance to click. To be fair on this, I did have a bug this weekend where the alert sound that you get when that window with the Enter button pops up played, but the window did not pop up. Only the first time in well over 100 trials by then that it's happened, but it might be happening to others.
I did have time to complain about it in League before they all went in and I got booted, so at least I won't be counted among the "can't click a stupid button" brigade, but I'm still annoyed. -
Buy up a bunch of Gladiator's procs, trick out a few characters with them, then probably hold a contest of some sort.

Thanks Z, for the timely response and the acknowledgement that it's a problem.

Ok, one of my arcs is now unplayable, and the other can't be edited, because of this crap. Of course it's not triggering an orange warning message, so I don't know what's causing it....but one of the warnings when I try to save and test is that it's in the Enemy Group Override field. I do have an enemy group named Crey Security, that may be it, based on other people's reports that in-game names are being filtered.
Time to send some angry PMs. -
Whatever you are drinking, can I have some?

If this is true then it's horrible design. The trial can be done with 8, it should reward properly with 8, especially since in a smaller league each individual needs to participate more.
