First.... i14 was an incredible hit and I have had an incredible time playing in some of the arcs. The biggest draw-back, and IMHO the single biggest thing that will kill the concept, is the total lack of salvage drops appropriate to the adversaries we face in these new stories.
Once people who do care about the invention system see no actual useable salvage drops then most of us that are IO manufacturing addicts will quit the new Architect missions and return to the hum drum, and increasingly boring content of the game to get our salvage drops to make the neater stuff.
Good luck with the new concept....it just needs a little fine tuning to make it really awesome. :-)

And yes thank you again devs for releasing this MA content. I, along with others, are surprised that I'm enjoying it as much as I am.
There are some issues that need to be resolved (like the random team bug where people can't enter the mission or get into separate instances of the mission) or if it would be possible to have anyone enter the MA mission through any of the AE buildings and not just the one that the leader started it from would be nice. But overall it's quite fun -
2 things I would "love" to see coming for the MA....
1.) The ability to specifically say "this boss/mob/glowie goes here" (or at least have in the map layout have a diagram with it split into sections or whatever you want to call it so that you can see "oh, section A is generally where I want this boss" and then in the drop down box for the boss select "section A").
and
2.) The ability to specify how many mobs come in an ambush. As sg-mates and myself have noticed, if you have an ambush set to x event and that ambush only has an AV/EB in the group....oops, you get up to 3 AVs coming at ya -

As for ratings: I don't believe that players should be allowed to rate an arc without playing through all of it. Ordinary-seeming arcs might have a killer ending and the reality is that a player's work should be evaluated on the whole, not on the "I didn't like the uniform of the boss in the first mission so I quit".
However, to avoid players having to play through every mission to rate it - that's unreasonable punishment - at least one more measurement criteria can be added: drop out rate (or completion rate, which is the inverse of drop out rate). After a reasonable number (say: 50) of players have started an MA arc, the proportion of players who have dropped out prior to completing it (or the proportion of players who have successfully completed it) is shown. An arc with a high drop out rate / low completion rate is a big warning sign to players that the content might not be up to scratch.
Now, if an arc has a low completion rate but a high rating, it tells players 1) the arc might not be for everyone, 2) it might have been artificially boosted by friends, and / or 3) it might have a great final mission.
The flaw with weighting the rating of those who quit early is that if there are enough of them then they still will be a problem. It could work both ways - quit the first mission but rate it a 5. If enough people do that, it could make MA mission ratings meaningless.

I also want to re-iterate what MW said (and possibly others)...is there a way to "warn" people that a specific mission/arc is intended for x amount of people on a team or something? -

I'd just like to say about the 'exploits'...it baffles me how people 'complain' and/or whine when something changes that they don't like...for example it's been mentioned that solo'ing AVs is bad/an "exploit". I don't consider that an "exploit" per se....I call it a "no brainer"....I mean this is an MMO...a game where there are some things that are meant for groups to do...in this case taking down/out an AV/Hero. When it is changed so that you can no longer take out an AV/Hero by yourself, don't get all frustrated by it...I know when CoV came out and I was lvl'ing my Ninja/DM MM up I solo'ed an AV (pretty sure at least) or two but I if I can't, oh well, I either get friends or drop the difficulty level. *shrugs* -

My question: If we place a GM in one of the missions...say Lusca in the mission, is there anyway to make it so that Lusca's "toughness" is determined by the team size and the leader's difficulty setting (while typing I thought of the "monster" code...maybe that'd work here)?
What I mean is I'd like to have the person/team fight Lusca but as of right now in the "real game" Lusca takes at least 16+ people to even think of defeating (usually)....obviously since the most we can do is 8 on a team...that wouldn't be do-able....so even though Lusca may be a GM, may be use the "monster" code so that a team of 5 could defeat him? -

I've noticed now after the patch, if I log in with any character (hero or villain), sometimes I'll get anywhere from 3-12+ day job icons when I'm standing still, flying around or doing whatever. As soon as they appear they go away (unless I'm at a day job location then that one stays).
Just thought it was weird.... -
I like the rewards (57 month is blah to me but...)....
Just a suggestion, can we skip the requirements for the Fitness pool now? I want Stamina at lvl 6! :P -

A: We feel that players will take that chance on the random roll tables for that chance at the reward they want. There will always be that temptation to roll on the Pool C rewards 12 times instead of buying that one shiny IO. If a player doesn't get what they want, they can post these items on the markets. Also consider that before only players running Task Forces and Strike Forces were contributing Pool C and D items to the market, now even solo/casual players will be able to do so....

I'd just like to put my 2 influence out here and say that I highly doubt most people will be using merits for random rolls. I know I'll never buy a random roll with merits. No reason to....rather just save up for that 1 IO/those IOs that I want and that there is no need for random-ness. -

I will just chime in here and say that I see why the devs are doing the powers replacing/etc but I would also say that I would like to see new APPs/Villain Patron pools that have the 'old/useless' powers in them. I know I had a char. or two that I would have liked to take Weapon Mastery for the Caltrops/Shurikens, etc....but now that those powers may or may not be gone, just toss them in a new pool
Maybe make them a regular power pool choice and not an epic power pool.
We all like more choices -
I didn't read it all/don't have time now/however, the multiple builds is very nice! Now we CAN have 1 for PvE and 1 for PvP!

So any chance of the Empath badge requirements getting lowered now? I don't see the reason of "don't want to invalidate their play experience" as being a good one....Oro missions made Isolator easier to get...soo...any chance? please?
