  1. Sorry to hear that Ohloh. All my best.
  2. I have not yet participated in a closed beta for this game. I'd love the opportunity

Regardless, I am seriously stoked for this issue!
  3. Nice haul

I enjoyed it, and needed that badge, so thank you
  4. Okay, ran a Synapse last Sunday, so go ahead and take me off that list please.

    That's the only change

Meteors are already in the game with Shivans, which means there is a precedent that can be followed and lead to the culmination of the prophecy given in their storyline.

I'm going to have to say that if the devs do follow up on Shivans we will see something like a zone wide meteor shower akin to Rikti Invasions and Zombies, likely issue 17 or 18.

    This would be awesome
  6. Yeah, I really wish they would increase the target cap.
  7. I had mapserver issues during the raids, no matter the zone.

As for the invasion feeling off? I agree. The bombs were in short-supply most of the time, and so were the Heavies. That is until Sunday, when a very small group of heroes in Skyway managed to generate so many heavies that they plowed through us, again and again, like a hot knife through butter. Previously, much larger groups saw few, if any, heavies.

    It was very odd.

Yeah its boring because nobody goes there

    [/ QUOTE ]

... Really? Who were those people I was teaming with and doing missions with there then?

    [/ QUOTE ]
Indeed. Lots of people go there, if for no other reason than to run the radio missions.
  9. If I took life seriously all the time, I wouldn't have been alive this long, nor would I be playing this game. Also, in the game of life, nobody gets out alive, no matter their world-view.

You see, the problem with making a post on an internet forum that is made to be taken in jest is that intent is often lost unless its stated at some point in plain language (made even more problematic when you use a bunch of internet abbreviations), or even something as simple as a smiley at the end. Its one of the problems associated with communication in a text-only environment. Many people say stupid things online all the time, and are dead-serious when they say it, and I would assume that you've been around the internet long enough to realize that.

You should take that into consideration the next time you decide to make a "gag" post of that nature.

    So...

Looks like MA and SS are getting variant animations. Think it might happen for other sets eventually?

    [/ QUOTE ]
Ayup. I'd say its inevitable at this point.
  11. [ QUOTE ]
Gosh. If only I had specifically addressed that point in the OP.

    [/ QUOTE ]
Reading really IS fundamental, isn't it?

Seriously though, I would love to see alternate animations that allow for a crossbow.
  12. [ QUOTE ]

Imagine that. People who like different things, in the same game! Obviously a sign of the end times!

    [/ QUOTE ]
Dogs and cats, living together! Mass hysteria!

    I16 and MA

BAB, thanks for confirming that most of the alternate MA animations are punches. That just makes my night
  14. When the Rikti Probe and Council flyers were looping their destruction explosions before the last patch, one of the members of a team I was on joked that Michael Bay had designed i-15
  15. I would love to see some new items like that. We need more sewer-themed pieces, a more primitive-looking, yet tech-based teleporter type, and steampunk type items would really fit the bill here.

And yeah, we need real floor tiles, skinned on the top and bottom, even if the bottom is just a flat, patternless texture that can be colored. We need extra floor love in general, not to mention wall panels and doors.

We need a lot actually, but stuff like that would go a loooong way towards pleasing the base-designers.
  16. Some seriously superb suggestions in this thread.

lastly if ur a blaster and u dont have all ur debt badges bye lvl 40 your obviusly ned to switch to a controller cus thier the ones that sit back and hide like cowards.

    [/ QUOTE ]
I don't think so. Your logic (or lack of) has a gaping hole in it.

My very first 50 was a fire/fire/flame blaster, and he didn't get his last debt badge until well after 50, and I loaded up close-range to pb aoe's, like fire-breath, fire sword circle, and then consume and inferno. I also like using fire-ball at point-blank range too, so its not like I was hanging back and hover-blasting. If you wish to be a hover-blaster, you don't take /fire.

As for controllers being cowards and always hanging back, you just don't know what you are talking about. I've seen just as many controllers get in close as I have seen them hang back. But hey, why try to make a point with some actual facts and a well-considered statements when broad-brush hyperbole will do?
  18. I should be good for everything but Faathim and Citadel, which Ive already done
  19. On topic:

Count me amongst those who have wanted a Rad-Blast blaster primary since I got here. I can't wait

    Rikti Invasion again? Lame.

Oh and while we're at it... making a whole ISSUE out of finally allowing us to customize our power FX colors... lame as well, should have had that 5 years ago.

Weak ideas like this will not save this game from the mass exodus about to take place to a game that "gets it", and by "it" I mean REAL character customization and a true feeling of SUPERPOWER.

    [/ QUOTE ]
Other jabs at ideas that people have begged for and are being implemented by a Dev team that actually seems to get it, AND yet another cry of DOOOOOOOOOOM?

    You guessed it: Lame.
  21. GAH! I totally forgot all about it!
  22. Indeed. Sometimes all you want is a private base, or a base to share between yourself and a handful of known friends.

It is a great crutch for those that cannot survive with the other tools that are provided to their AT.

    [/ QUOTE ]
    *rolls eyes*

Like every single power, be it primary, secondary, pool or epic, its a tool to accomplish a means to an end: the survival and advancement of your character. Its popular for a reason, and rarely is it because its an absolutely crucial survival tool. The reasons for this popularity have been outlined quite handily in the posts previous to needless quoted one.

Like many, I tend to take it regularly on melee toons.
  24. I'll show and we'll see what happens
