just thought I'd say hi and announce my intent to try out a little more pvp. I've popped in with my Dom and my Corr from time to time but nothing too serious. I had the notion this weekend to spend a little love on my Stalker and make him more of a PvP build - he's not ready yet (lvl 12) but advancing quickly.
So I just thought I'd say hi and see if there was any advice anyone would like to offer for yet another pvp stalker(i.e before I decided to make him a pvp build I took recall friend - wish I'd taken tp foe now!).

just a quick question - Ive a lvl 15 corr with the Rad secondary set - I have 3 DO heals slotted and its up to 54 points of heal - which I was happy with until some one with the dark set at a lower level came along and was knocking out much more powerful heals. Is the Rad heal lower powered or had the guy just jacked up his heal better than me?
Is there a balance issue between heal amount and recharge speed perhaps?

well my Corr is levelling faster than any of my other toons and so far is much more fun too play - glad I made one now!!!

Gotta say Ive been having more fun with this alt than any other so far - now I'm lvl 6 I just dont know wether to follow the AR or Rad set but Hasten is looking mighty good!! yup having my lvl 6 what power next dilemma!!

hmm thats got me thinking.
Its a AR/Rad corruptor purely made as I had got home and was listening to Bikini Guns with Machine Guns by the Cramps on the walk home. No idea why I picked Rad really other than I like it when other player use Accelerate Metabolism on me.
Any comments on the combo?

rolled a new alt last night following the theme of Bikini Girls with Machine Guns (for any Cramps fans out there)
It got me thinking in all the teams I've played with I dont think I've seen a single gun based Corruptor out there. Is there any reason for this? Is the set unpopular/ weak or have I just missed them?

Ive been playing CoV for a few months now (first online MMPORG - no CoH) and have had some interesting experiences with SG's
I've been a member of 3 now - the first 2 basically used me as a prestige [censored] and offered nothing other than the teleporters - never teamed up after intial mish never really helped much at all. The third were a real freindly bunch played together quite a bit but none of them have been online for weeks. Ive found my education of the game and freinds list have been massively boosted by PUG's.
All I'm wondering is - have I been unlucky or is the best thing SG's have to offer is the shortcut Teleporter system between zones? - If I have been unlucky can anyone reccomend an SG that is kind to newish players?

I got the game in Jan, have been playing on and off for a bit all PvE.
I strayed into a PvP area whilst teamed up with a brute, I was playing a dom - we kicked [censored] as a duo.
It Kinda fired up my blood for a little pvp action - so what I'm asking is
a) - what server do you guys recommend for PvP?
and
b) what AT would you recommend as a good one for a newbie at PvP?

well there was a very good regen scrapper camping by the base in Sirens call who's hopefully learnt not to mess with Dominators. I turned up, they squared me up straight into the zone - they lept at me and I pinned them to the wall with TK whilst everyone got their revenge. Ah sweet sweet Domination lol

Cool - I get it - it's a sliding damage magnifier? I had my Brute rushing between mobs coz thats my job (surely?) - didn't realise it made me better at my job
In that case - why do people like Air Suppiority - not a huge amount of flying enemies? - just taken combat jumping - seems a groovy defence power!

still relativly new to the game and playing my first Brute - everyone talks about Fury; however... ...
I play a Dominator and the domination build up is easy to spot - Ive got to lvl 11 and Ive not noticed any fury effect.
It seems my fury bar drops away about 4 times as fast as it builds up - as such Ive never noticed the effect.
When I try to drag it into my power tray it flashes 'A' and wont move.
My question is - does fury just kick in when the bar is full - and I've not noticed as I'm generally in the middle of a scrap... Or do you have to kick it off like a Dominator's domination and I'm doing something wrong????
