Fury?
Fury is progresive,IE..as the bar moves up your damage increases, you dont have to fill the bar or anything like that and you should notice the difference especialy when you get a full bar and start 1 shotting yellows
Fury is a passive power, which gives you the bigger damage boost the higher the bar is. It builds up by attacking, and getting attacked, and decreases rapidly, which is the reason brutes are usually rushing from group to group, trying to keep their fury up.
Fury and Domination are different concepts, even though they look similar.
Domination is a skill that can be used when your Domination bar is full, that will last a specific time (after which you'll have to fill the bar again), and that will give you a bonus to your skills.
By contrast, Fury is always "on" (which is why you couldn't drag it to your power bar - skills which show an A when you try that can't be toggled but are always Active).
What Fury does is give a you bonus to your damage on all attacks (not just the Brute attacks, also power pool stuff like Air Superiority). The more you fill your Fury bar, the higher your damage bonus will be. If your Fury is at 0, you'll do only the base damage. I don't have the exact numbers handy, but I think a full Fury bar amounts to about 200% dmg bonus or more (i.e. triple damage) from what I've seen on my Brute.
And yes, Fury goes down MUCH quicker than Domination, but it also fills up faster
Cool - I get it - it's a sliding damage magnifier? I had my Brute rushing between mobs coz thats my job (surely?) - didn't realise it made me better at my job
In that case - why do people like Air Suppiority - not a huge amount of flying enemies? - just taken combat jumping - seems a groovy defence power!
(yes I'm drunk and rambling via typing - UberGeek!)
AS is fast animation (good for fury building), decent damage, and is a 100% chance knockdown, which makes it very good signle target control power.
Not taken AS myself yet begin a fire/fire brute, needing other powers atm but Boxing and Brawl seem to build fury nicely also
I've taken AS mainly because it's a very quickly recharging knockdown attack - it helps a lot when taking on bosses. As long as they're lying on the floor they can't hit you. It's one of my favorite attack moves

Agreed . Had a mission last night with a lot of Totem bosses in it. Those guys take so long to get back on their feet that AS was always recharged just in time to knock em back down again so they only managed to get one hit off the entire fight.
Hi there,
still relativly new to the game and playing my first Brute - everyone talks about Fury; however... ...
I play a Dominator and the domination build up is easy to spot - Ive got to lvl 11 and Ive not noticed any fury effect.
It seems my fury bar drops away about 4 times as fast as it builds up - as such Ive never noticed the effect.
When I try to drag it into my power tray it flashes 'A' and wont move.
My question is - does fury just kick in when the bar is full - and I've not noticed as I'm generally in the middle of a scrap... Or do you have to kick it off like a Dominator's domination and I'm doing something wrong????
please help... ...
