Last time i checked you can still only do 3 ambushes per mission.
I tried to make "the ultimate ambush mission" (check it out! search for damz!) and would only let me do 3 ambushes.
The only other solution to a high number of ambushes that seem like ambushes is a small outdoor map with a high number of hard patrols and hard boss spawns.
^^^^ Thats the only way that i know of at the moment, hopefully somebody else knows if it is actually possible since i'ld like to edit my mission to make it more ambushy. (mines the agent smith mass brawl kind of fight)

Correct. You only get a % of xp from the damage YOU do to the enemy.

You could have a map full of allies and still receive full xp as long as YOU do the damage. Just with more allies on the mission, means more chance for them to kill the higher % of enemies thus lowering your xp gain.

Level has no relation to xpAll it means is that if the ally does more damage naturally then you'll gain less xp from mobs he hits due to you being able to only hit for a smaller % of damage.

Its called The Richter Arc, and while I think its pretty good fun, the XP is quite limited. Im therefore keen to know whether I should reduce the number of allies, change the ally levels etc. to keep the basic story intact, but improve the XP.

As long as you state its more story driven than for xp gain in the arc description you should be fine. This is from a biased point of view (hate allies here remember) but i'ld keep the number of allies to a minimum always.

[*] A small casino type zone implemented, however to keep it non farmable there would possibly be a limit on how much you could bet and the outcome of the result would be totally random. The monkey cage fight as an example would be an awesome way to do this, select who you think would win and your then taken into the arena (like an observer) and if your monkey wins, you get the influence. Simple really.
[*] Having a zone in which is available for villains/heroes to team and interact throughout their entire career. Would play villains a LOT more if i was able to interact with my heroic friends more easier.
[*] Weather. This would help build on the realistic feel of the game greatly. Fighting in a thunderstorm with lightning in the background is imo, the signature feel of an epic fight.
[*] An arena mode in which you [or teamed] enter and [terra volta style] enemies ambush you. Each ambush gradually gets harder with the prize being greater the longer you survive.
[*] A light and dark powerset. Kind of the ultimate power of good and the ultimate power of evil. We kind of have these in the form of PBs/WSs however i'ld like if it was more diversified.
[*] Traps in missions. Having certain missions have traps located throughout the map would be perfect and help keep teams on edge. Clicking on a certain glowie/opening a certain door teleports you to another part of the map/ambush/damage taken as an example.
[*] Chargeable powers. The longer you keep your finger down on a power the more powerfull the buff to it is. Making it interuptable would possibly be the best/fairest option here.
[*] Tsunamis. Enough said about that.
[*] Elemental weapons. Though just adding them in as custom weapons would be enough for me.

Do they expect people who have farmed a level or two (or fifty) to log in and play on their characters now?
No point in going back to normal-levelling a toon you've farmed up a few levels because they might nerf you.
No point in starting a new toon, either, because there's no-one to group with outside of the MA, which is of course verboten. It's still going on, of course, as the average CoHer doesn't read the forums and is still 'LFF' in Atlas.

Stopping people playing their toons is a tad OTT i'll admit but HOPEFULLY with the threat of it, it'll stop FUTURE toons being PL'd to 50 in a day.
I doubt anybody with a 1 - 50 in a day toon currently will be affected by this, it'll be ones after the announcement that are affected. So therefore it is the players fault now, they have been warned not to abuse the system and therefore know the consequences if they do so. -

If you buy any unlockable costume pieces via the MA ticket scheme then it only becomes unlocked when you create custom enemies in the mission creator screen
To get unlockable clothes you must either have the correct amount of veteran reward time or do certain missions to get them for your character
In your case its 3 months veteran time for a trenchcoat.

Techno noob here and happy to admit it, trying to record videos ingame and upload them but a 20 second video turns out to be something like 125mb in the fraps folder (hence takes ageeeesss to upload).
Anybody tell me how to make the file smaller if possible for faster uploads i'll be more than happy[got big things planned for coh for this so please!]
