So you think your character is the best out there huh?
So you think you can take on any challenge and come out on top?
Well proove it!!!! Here is the OFFICIAL [unofficial] challenge thread in which people state challenges down and players show off which ones they have done! Now lets not turn it into an unrealistic challenge but one that takes skill.
- The rikti war zone pylon challenge. Solo one of these without dying!
- The giant monster challenge. Same as above, solo them ALL!
- Solo the psy clockwork king as an AV [im led to believe hes one of the toughest ingame correct?]
- Get every single taskforce badge.
- Get a free for all arena match and emerge as the winner.
- Join the 600 badge club!
- Get the leader badge!
- Complete a mothership raid with only a single team.
- Complete a death badger race without dying.
- Win a costume contest.
- Fully IO out both builds on a character.
- Get a character to level 50 without the use of any inspirations.
- Get a character to level 50 without the use of pool powers [will have to select them i know but dont use them].

I'm expecting Issue 17 to be story-driven. We've gone a long time without any serious update to the lore, and the last several issues have been extremely mechanics-focused.

Every single issue i get this and my reasons differ for each issue. For i12 [DB right?] i couldnt make a new alt since i REALLY wanted a ghost pirate [think lechuck] and everything else seemed not as cool. I12 got released and i no longer wanted one!
Just looking forward to all my new alts [noob trap - traps/elec defender ] and getting my characters all shiny!!! White fire baby!

i17 will be a QOL issue used to fine tune the new features that GR will bring.
Dont expect a major issue for i17, now i18 on the other hand . . . . . -

I don't know why it's not obvious that happened to many of you, but it's clear for us EU posters that you lot got lumped in with us, not the other way around.

Im looking forward to the next teaser of GR, that trailer is still one of the best gaming adverts i've seen in quite a while. Easily the best teaser for Co* so far. -

Probs the most respected player EU side ever. Sad to hear you go but glad its only for a little while. Hopefully it'll be sooner rather than later that we get to see you flying around the streets helping out all the players.

Currently building my AR/NRG blaster to be a pure ranged killing machine. At the moment my ranged def for him is roughly 29% but i know i can squeeze another 10% or more into him, my question is . . . . . is 29% OK for pve and worth investing into other sets or will going for 40% ranged def be the better option?
[picked the elec mastery since i want to have capped resis against EBs while also having low risk of being hit in first place] -

Well if that's the case, he might need to change what word he uses, because in America, "busted", especially on internet forums, means that someone was caught being a hypocrite, which is a VERY different thing from what he's talking about. Either so, the part which i busted you at was the part you was being a hypocrite, you stated first of all that the system was borked and so was turning it off [ok, dont really see a point in actually saying your doing that. Why hasnt EVERYBODY who has turned off their rep made a thread saying they done so?], then you even posted saying you had turned it back on because you knew it was there still even when disabled [you know it doesnt just vanish right?], so instantly you became a hypocrite in that respect [hence the busting].
To further show my reason for the busting i'll state that you said there shouldnt be a form of "class" on the forums yet on the SAME POST you stated a few people who you think should be on the top of the "respect" list, thus instantly creating your own form of class within your own mind [whether you meant to or not, thats how it is]. So that could have been a double bust there.
Thirdly you even made the mistake in your "im turning it back on" post of stating what the publics reaction will be to you turning it back on, thus self admitting you made the mistake in the first place and subconsciously trying to divert any attention onto the negative posters that would definite follow from yourself. Credit for a third bust in this thread.
Finally by stating that you yourself was giving the system more credit than it deserved you was unwittingly also saying that you are of a stature [or class ] that people will look up to, thus again contradicting your "we're all equals" post earlier. Fourth bust in a thread.
So that was the OFFICIAL damz reason for busting you in this thread [happy to provide all reasons for future busts also], and remember . . . . all of my posts are not serious but are in the EU style of humour.

Isnt it up to us the veterans of the game to take these new players and show them the wonderfull world of paragon city and beyond?
A lot of us moan about this [i myself am guilty of this] but instead of moaning we should instead be making threads of how to combat this new enemy and turn it into our allies.
* Start blind inviting people at low level into PUGs/SGs - Everybody i know started off being blind invited and everything and even though its rude . . . . . its also the best way to get people to mix with others they dont know.
* Start running some form of actual AE mission team - With the new search engine it should be easy to find a half decent arc for a team to run through. Just by typing in "bank" into the search gets you quite a few good missions with lots of chaos [remember, pugs LOVE controlled chaos].
* Start making new competitions - If on our far less populated EU servers we are able to organise random competitions that gets players into unusual zones then you US guys should have zero problem with it. Start a swimming race from PI ferry entrance to top of monster island [level ones only]. A new player will see them and will WANT to find out what they are exactly.
* Get out of your comfort zone, whether it be teaming with friends/doing the same usual stuff etc, and start accepting teams doing things that you usually wouldnt do. Dont usually do the hollows until after kings row? Skip kings row all together with your team and do hollows the "traditional" way!
* Do some of the actual zone mini events [like steel canyons fires]. A lot of new players dont know anything about them, broadcasting about it [in a much more exagerated way like "OMG THERES A FIRE IN STEEL CANYON!!! HERO TEAM FORMING TO COMBAT IT!!!"] WILL get players asking about it.
