here's how to play MM
>send pet to attack
>throw down buff/debuff depedning on set
>heal pet
>win pve
you prob never pickup aggro ever unless its a ambush -
get him to 50 farm the **** out of it and io out your next toon
-
thugs starcking leadership buff is too good. mercs need one too, like a stacking assault or something.
-
I got my merc/pain to lv 36 before starting a thugs/dark. the merc is ok solo, the commando pwers recharge too slow and serum is useslls that's about it. on a team I think mercs have too much dots and no front load dmg so stuff dies from your teammate before you can get the majority of your dot dmg in.

Quote:ok so your saying I should not take any attack abilties from human form and just use nova for attacks, then which to human when I need to buff or something right?Well, the thing is, that's not really true. While Nova and Dwarf are complete "out of the box", so to speak, they have a pretty good balance of attacks. In fact, a lot of people swear by going through the 6-12 levels exclusively in Nova form, because with both your Cone and Targetted AoE attacks, you're more powerful than the other ATs that have to wait on those attacks.
More importantly, though, most of the human form powers carry over to the other forms. Basically, any click power, such as Essense Boost, Build Up, Mire, or Eclipse, will continue to run their full duration when you switch forms. You have to switch forms to activate them, but then you can switch back, which is the unique part of playing a Kheldian.
Since the Human form is between Nova and Dwarf in function anyway, you don't really gain anything by staying there. You'll do more damage if you shift to Nova, and be able to take damage and endure mezzes in Dwarf. So by adapting yourself to the best form for the situation, you can accomplish a lot more than sticking to one generic form and muddling through.
Of course, that takes practice, and you've somehow got to divide your slots between all three forms, so in practice usually a Kheldian player will choose to either go Human/Dwarf, Human/Nova, or concentrate on Nova/Dwarf and just have the human form be a collection of utility powers to fire off between forms. And pure Human form is an option as well, although it's a little tougher than going with one of the form builds. (I personally find it somewhat frustrating, particularly in the absense of good mez protection. However, my Human/Dwarf Warshade is currently a primarily Human form, the Dwarf is only there if I get mezzed)

Read through "Raising a Peacebringer" - no longer "in progress," going to copy the final form of it to Player Guides this weekend. -

I guess I'm asking because the forms don't gain new powers. so it seems at me at a certain poimnt I'd'd basically be use human alot because they jsut get stronger with alot more skills.
-
I'm wondering if the shapeshift forms and abilties are worth it. Im right now lv8 but If the human form get much better later that the other forms are not worth using, then I'm not going to slot them.

wait did banes get buffed in pvp? I remmber them being no where near NW
-
I'd be happy if they updated the ninija set so the Oni didn't look like a total gimp
-
uh...I thought the whole point of a video game is to be cool and fun. I dont know what deepr meaning you're trying get at here, that makes something cool not a good enough reason to add.

This looks liek the dumbest thing ever, she looks really short because of how dispporinate that hat makes her head

I have this idea where in Tip missions or morlality missions you randomly get another character from your account(on the same server) from the opposite side/same side as a villian/ally that comes to gank you or help you. Or it could be someone from your SG etc. Of course you still get premade guys like BlastFurnce once in a while to mix it up or when you don't have any that fits teh criteria.
Dunno if that would work but I think it would be cool, coz it would make it like all character co exit in the game instead of just you shifting bodies when you choose them. -
Quote:So you say there's places you need to buy temp powers to get there even when you have SS, a teir 2 travel power. Id say that's a problem right there.new animation for sj? i might be able to get behind that.
ss is useless? lmao. if you actually need to get somewhere that ss can't get you to you can buy temp powers that will give you vertical movement cheaply.
Quote:many super heroes fly. and last time i checked, super man wasn't magic.
Quote:just because you think something is wierd is not going to make the devs change it.
Quote:so, the only thing i think i might be able to get behind is a new animation for sj. good luck getting anyone to agree that the other powers are broke. even sj isn't broke.
Quote:Ninja Run isn't just about jumping. It's a poor man's SS and SJ. Not as good as either but combines aspects from both.
Quote:The response was that those particular statements you made sounded crazy. You know . . .Cuckoo. Of course it is possible that you are far too young to get the cuckoo reference. Older people sometimes use it as slang to describe something that is lacking in sense; foolish or crazy.
For example you started off saying SS isn't useful, and finished with a travel power should be good for traveling long distances. If you don't see how that sounds crazy then there isn't much to discuss.
Quote:Yeah, DZ, I'm not really sure what you are asking for here. Your post is titled "New Travel Powers," but then you only ask for one: an "epic" version of Ninja Run, which would then be better than both SJ and SS, if you were to draw that out to it's logical conclusion.
Quote:And if you don't like Flight and Teleport, then don't take them. A lot of heroes/villains in the comics have their combat powers, and then a travel power that has little to do with them. Heck, some have flight based on their combat powers (Storm uses winds to let herself fly, Iron Man uses his repulsors in low doses to control his flight, etc), while others have completely non-magic ways of achieving flight, despite them not being their main mutation.
Quote:Also, look at Nightcrawler. He's a teleporter, who can use that ability in combat, or can use it to travel long distances. So I'm not really sure what your problem is with those two pools. They come up a lot in comics, and are not broken for any reason.
In any case now that I think about it, really all 'new' travel powers are just going to be alternate animations. Even if you fly onto of a piece of ice liek Iceman you're still using the same mechnics as flying. The only other one that I can think of that could be conisdered a brand new power is tunneling (which I doubt can happen with the engine) -
SS lets you jump +400%? which is my point because SS can't get you up high ledges.
Quote:So you want different animations? -
there was underwater area in Champions online and it pretty much the worst area ever. Aggro from every direction and it's really hard to tell if you're going to be in aggro range because all the mobs are basically floating in the air with no shadows/surface to tell distance.
-
Can we get some more travel powers like a epic version of Ninja run or something
Super jump is good but the animation is weird imo.
Super speed is proabably the least useful because so many obstacles you can't get up to. Its good for mish, but travel powers should be good for traveling long distances.
those 2 above I like the most because they can be argued as extensions of your characters already existing speed/strength
Fly and teleprt imo are hard to fit in conceptually, unless youre some wizard with spells that basically let you do whatever you want. Because fly and teleport are like completely seprate super powers. So you have your combat powers...but you can also fly.
Like a mutation that lets you grow/fight with spines but also defy gravity/teleport on the side lol. Its weird IMO
really I'm only asking because SJ looks kind of weird and SS is one of the most useless for long distances(I only somtimes get it because of Hasten)
edit: when I say SJ looks weird I mean the jumping animation only. The falling animation I think looks pretty cool -
ok I;m not really talking about heads falling off and blood everywhere, more liek finishing effects. Like if you kill some guy with fire he catches on fire when he falls over and gets all charred . If you kill some guy with rad his coprse glows. etc. Or SS he flys really far.
For heroes every defeat should have that blue PPD net affect to show they actually got captured. -
don't actually review anything. just scream and cuss alot and hope it can pass for humor
