He has no audience for something like this. If you think about it, he's whole strategy on gaming is to make it accessible to as many people as possible, basically he's targeting the casual gamers market.

Is a casual gamer really going to spend 30$ on in game cut scenes? Especially since majority of these people only game as just another of many hobbies and probably do know who Brad Pitt is going out with and go to movies with friends. Casual gamers play a game to play a game, they don't give 2 craps about 'The complete lore and history of Master Chef' as side reading, so I don't see them paying 3x a movie ticket just for the 'lore/story' of the game without the game so to speak.

Then you got the hardcore/semi hardcore gamer who keeps up with industry news(and DO care about Starcraft/Warcraft lore), who IMO would not touch this just to spite Kodick. More importantly, LIKE to play games on a frequent basis (probably even competitively). And are probably decently versed in the internet and either would rather watch a lets play or get the Activition movie through some other means without paying them.

tl;dr He has no audience. The only people who would want something like this, is someone who cares about the Starcraft series enough to want the lore (semi hardcore/hardcore gamer imo), but don't want to or have the time to play the game. Basically no one.

Actually this looks like a retarded decision. This reeks of attention grabbing crap Kodick puts out on a daily basis to try to gain some more celebrity to his name (he fancies himself having more than half a billion in net worth, as much as Jay-Z). No one in their right mind would pay $20-$30 for in game cut scenes when a proper AAA movie is 12$ + drinks and popcorn in the theater or cable/movie sites.

And when you say not much money in it, I'll have to disagree. You need someone to animate, for one. OK what about the story, you need someone to write as well. How about the voice actors? You need those too. Marketing, distribution sites, they all add up. If they do try it, I'd say they let out one episode, see how much money they didn't make and never make another one again.

And for a online only distribution is just asking for people frapsing, p2p sharing it, hosting it on rutube etc, the moment it hits.

it jus seems to me I'm running out of end alot even with /regen, from spamming attacks on minions becaus they don';t do enough dmg to take them out efficently(unless buildup) also it takes me like a full chain just to kill a blue leut, which I thought was lame as hell.

I thought it was hard/expensive to make a farming SS/fire beacuse of end issues
