I think (going off of how the IO works, and not actual testing) If you slotted a Numina +/+ unique in Triage or Spirit Tree, you would get the bonus from the unique when you summon the pet, the buff would last for 2 minutes, after that you would need to resummon the pet to get the bonus again.
It would not give the regen/recov from the IO unique to anyone else who comes into the pet aura thingy.
It's best to just slot it in health... -

Some characters just don't have the resources to hang on a Master run. Like Ice Tanks.
[/ QUOTE ]
True story, got MoSTF the first time with NetMinder's Ice Tank tanking.
But anyhow, I have a Blaster, Scrapper and Tanker that are all MoSTF vets. Take your pick.
[/ QUOTE ]
Stray's ice tank also has MoSTF, and so does my ice tank (before it got deleted)
yeesh ya haters
MoSTF really isn't that hard. It just takes semi-intelligent people. If you really want to make it a walk in the park though, recruit a bubbler with power boost.
I probably won't be able to make it though, between the hami raid, and accolading that I've fallen way behind on, and some RL stuff that I need to take care of... -
Since they lowered the elusivity that everyone gets, forts/widows are a bit squishier, so they arent by far the best anymore.
Suggestion? Play a PB.
No, srsly. -

I'm looking forward to putting those cool pistol models to good use on something other than a MM.
[/ QUOTE ]
Yes! In fact, I may even re-roll my MM as a Pistols/FF Corr. Not sure yet.
[/ QUOTE ]
Since when do Corrs have FF 0.o -
[ QUOTE ]
It has occurred to me that a good power for a comic-bookish feel for Dual Pistols would be "Interception : Your skill with your weapons is such that you can shoot incoming attacks out of the air"; a ranged defense toggle.
[/ QUOTE ]
Which would probably result in no tier 3 blast.... -
I consider it a fun bug.... watching imperious kill my buddy the first time I saw it was absolutely hilarious.
Maybe that's just me >.> -

So with this... we'll finally be able to get the 1000 or so badges you see on dev toons now eh?
[/ QUOTE ]
I'm not convinced we'll actually get hero ATs running freely around Cap. "Visiting" the Rogue Isles could be as simple as the way that villains go to Paragon for Mayhems or such.
[/ QUOTE ]
I would hope not. -

I'm interested in a 2v2 ladder, and know of others who would be as well.

I strongly suggest getting warburg nukes assx well if you have the time, even one or 2 can make a huge difference
[/ QUOTE ]
Agreed. Try and bring a bio nuke if possible.
[/ QUOTE ]
And this is why I don't do Hami raids nor LRSF. Homey don't go in PvP zones. I've been playing off and on since Issue 3, and I haven't entered a PvP zone yet.
[/ QUOTE ]
Just because it is a pvp zone doesn't mean you have to pvp. Other than RV, the zones are pretty much a wasteland. Getting nukes and shivans is a very easy task -

Run and never look back. Dark is pretty much the worst secondary for brutes. Die often, (losing fury), weak mezzes (I hear this decreases fury), and weak resistances. Dark has nothing going for it that makes it better than the other sets.
[/ QUOTE ]
Don't forget to add the disclaimer that you don't know what you're talking about. -
You say you're bad at making builds? That build is actually pretty good, much better than the average build you see on the forums.
You hit permadom 3, meaning you're a permadom without hasten (you can go afk and will never lose dom) which is something I always wanted, but I personally prefer more positional defense.
-
[ QUOTE ]
It's prolly not hard to put together a insp-free soloing build for blasters (just cap your range & AoE def, take Aid Self), but what that costs you in DPS is the question this stress test would answer. Even just Aid Self, since it's a long cast, would lower your DPS significantly, I think. Even if you only fired it off 5~6x in a fight, that's an extra 20sec or so, not only of no damage, but letting the pylon regen during those times.
[/ QUOTE ] You don't need aoe defense, pylon attacks as long as they target you will be counted as range positional. If the attack targets someone near you, and you are in the radius, it is counted as AoE postional.
And for sure its easy to cap a blaster's ranged defense. My nrg/em blaster is capped, but my fire/em blaster is built for pure offense. -
[ QUOTE ]
The most common method is to either carry a bunch of purps or get a tanker to taunt it while you whittle down it's HP.
[/ QUOTE ] Tanker taunting while you attack does not = soloing. Use of purps still falls in the realm of soloing, but it kinda defeats the purpose, if you say you solo a pylon with a tray full of purples, I'll say so what, you do it with no insps and I'll say gj or whatever.
[ QUOTE ]
Since it is an easy target with lots and lots of HP and no regeneration it makes a very reliable way to measure sustained damage output.
[/ QUOTE ] Pretty sure pylons have a good amound of regen, I haven't done it in a long time. I do however remember transfusion spam lowering it's regen per combat attributes. -

X and I should be there for the MM taunt team, we have the experience needed to lead it as well.
[/ QUOTE ]
Well if you guys have done villain hami raids and know how to lead the MM team then by all means go ahead and run it. It will save me the 20 bucks I was gonna spend to move to Virtue to do a raid and make sure I knew how to run it first.
[/ QUOTE ]
Well just the MM taunt team, I couldn't ever imagine being able to coordinate a whole raid like mr. squidness can do, or the many leaders hero side -

Did my reply how i see pylon soloing require that?
EDIT:
It is an immobile stationary object that fires ranged, lethal attacks at you What is the great acheivement in surviving it?
Its a nice dps benchmark though.
[/ QUOTE ] Being able to solo AVs/Pylons/GMs requires a balance of dps and survivability. If it was just a test of dps, then blasters would be the #1 av/pylon/gm killer hands down. Being immobile doesn't mean much in terms of how hard it is to kill. Pylons can still hit hard, and have a decent KB component to it, and you do need some way of mitigating it. Is it hard? Not really. But that doesn't mean it is just about dps.

I have solo'ed rikti pylons with both my fire/kin and ill/storm with no insps. However my fire/em blaster can do it insanely faster, although she needs insps.

The only badges I feel need to be removed are dev choice and hall of fame.
Everything else can stay, including the 50k kills in test mode, although it would be nice if it was reduced.
