Hey the snipping tool worked! Awesome thanks.

BTW, that system was built with your suggestions Father Xmas. So, thanks for the help past and present. I appreciate it.
  2. Just in case it helps:

  3. First I tried entering the enhancment window and hitting print Screen. I went to the screen shot folder in the CoH directory and it wasn't there. I did try a test screen shot of another character and that showed up in the screen shot directory like normal.
Next I went back to the enhancement screen and hit screen shot again. I then opened MS paint and pasted the image from the clip board. What I got was an all black image.
I tried /screenshotui 1, before hitting screen print, I tried that with a 0, I tried alt screen print. All of those resulted in an all black image being pasted.

I am trying to get a copy of my current build the easiest way possible so I can do a respec. I appreciate any and all help.

There has got to be some kind of time limit on a spoiler. Seriously. Would I really need a spoiler alert to mention what happens to Ol' Yeller?

Well...I suppose that can be technically true if you're folding space, but then you get into the whole Warp thing and daemonettes and soul-eating. I mean sure, there's a price to pay for getting comics, but that might be a bit steep.
Yah, before I started the thread I tried to use that. It seems kind of worthless to be honest. I did check it here in Baltimore where I am (and Diamond Comics is) and it worked great.

I did all the googling I could before posting here.

Yesterday I called the nearest comic shop I could find (40 minute drive away) and asked for info. They said that Lewiston just doesn't really have a comic shop. Said that there are folks that drive up to get their books.

Anyway, I appreciate the input. decisions, decisions.

If that is supposed to be Tsalagi (Cherokee) then the phonetic spelling would be Wa ya ha.

Waya would translate to Wolf not coyote.

As far as a suggestion for a name I am tired... and it is late. I thought that using Trickster as a concept for the name would work well since she is a coyote. It certainly fits from a totem stand point.
But I am drawing a blank sadly.

Hmm... I don't know. I love the costume, btw.

I used that before I posted. Closest store that shows is in Indiana (and one in Canada). I figure there must be a few closer. But thank you for posting that.
  9. Wow... I have to wonder if just one response means that moving out there I would double the number of Idaho CoH subscribers.
  10. Dang kids, get off my lawn...

Yah, I turned 48 this year. What a great summer that was.
  11. Thank you for the response. I found Safari Pearl Comics, and then did a quick google maps directions and it said that was a 40 minute drive. Not terrible... but not great.
I wonder if I move out there if I'll have to give up all my offline Nerd hobbies (Wargames, RPGs, and such).
  12. Are there any there?

There is an opportunity for me and my family to move to Lewiston Idaho. We are currently debating it.

Is anyone from there? Has been there? Or has any info?

I know this is a long shot... But, well, I trust this community. I would love to hear thoughts if anyone has info.

I've been googling and can't seem to find a comic book shop. Or a Nerd (I say with affection) community of any type there.

    Thanks

    I24 hopes?

I am hoping for more non-praetorian mission content in the 30 - 40 level range.
Something a long the lines of the new AP stuff and the two new arcs we got in Steel Canyon.

    Prometheus

There was an alien bas relief in the room with the big head. Can't make a picture of something that doesn't already exist.

The origin of the crossover was in Predator2, where an alien head was briefly seen in the trophy room.
I remember that. I just am not sure how that is contrary to Prometheus. It seems like the Engineers made the planet into a bio weapon factory (yes a big guess)... so that head could come from a previous something or other the engineers were involved in.

The plot hole that bugged me most was the "search" for the Biologist and Geologist. Didn't you have a video feed from them 24/7? Isn't it recorded? You should know EXACTLY what happened to them before you go off on your search.

Also, how did those guys get lost int he first place? No one from the ship could have walked them through it? They had a freakin' 3D map of every part of the complex they were in!
As to them being lost... the Capt and whats her name were busy... well... getting busy, so no one was on the bridge. Hence they got lost.

What is the AvP Canon that everyone keeps referencing?
  17. I agree. It is so odd... sorry, you cant get on the train until the doors are shut. Reminds me of Catch 22. No appointments unless I am out of the office.
  18. That is really cool. I especially like the shower curtain.
  19. The cave entrance has never made any sense to me. Anything other than the current entrance would be better.

    Variable Names

I love the idea. And... I think it is way past time we take the only successful thing to come out of CO and STO and tie names to globals. With the option to hide the @globalname portion it should not be jarring at all. I think the hysteria about "OMG somebody will steal my name" is just that... hysteria.
  21. Wow. That is awesome. Great work. I love the colors.

After all, he did outsmart the rest of the squad with the flagpole test which shows he is smart and adapts to situations.

After the serum amps him up, it only took a brief glance at a Hydra map for him to redraw the map back at base and mark the locations of their bases. This tells me his memory recollection is now augmented, possibly to photographic memory levels. So as far as things like weapons usage and vehicle handling he likely read every manual he could find, also any books on combat training and hand to hand combat he likely would read as well. Just because the senator made him into a "chorus girl" as the Tommy Lee called him doesn't mean that he wasn't studying on the side as he awaited the promise from the senator of his own platoon.

As to the crashing of the plane in the arctic waters, I don't see why people scoff at him for doing that. The plane was on course for new york and was loaded with tesseract-bombs that were likely precursors to the atomic bomb. They said that the Skull had the fire power to wipe out the Eastern seaboard. Ditching the bombs may not have been possible without them going off, also as smart and capable as he was I don't think there was enough time to get Howard Stark on the line and then Cap would have to tell Howard what the controls and gauges all look like and then Howard has to try to figure out how to tell Cap how to land the plane safely somewhere so that neither it nor the bombs explode. Also that was a flying wing, a bit advanced for the time and Howard was having trouble earlier when he was studying the submarine that Steve captured along with the Hydra assassin. So could Howard have helped Cap land the plane? Maybe, maybe not.

Also, it is not as if Cap wiped out all of Hydra's bases in a day or a week or a month. It would take time to set things up and move troops into position and prep for the attacks. During that time I suspect Cap was getting some off screen training and studying done to make sure he was ready.
I love Cap. He is my favorite all time super hero. I have every Cap comic starting with issue 100. (Not counting appearances in other comic titles).
I even have quite a few of the Tales of Suspense.

And even I think the whole crashing the plane was just a stupid plot hole.

I have flown planes. I was in the Air Force for 23 years. And that scene was just plain dumb.

He had full control of the plane. He could have attempted to LAND the plane at the least. If it ended up crashing that would have been fine. But for a man as intelligent as he was to state that he was intentionally going to crash the plane was silly.
Yes it was going to attack NY. But he had full control of the aircraft. He could have flown it anywhere (with fuel being a limiting factor).
It would have been more heroic to me if he had attempted to LAND the damaged plane. It still could have crashed despite his attempt. That would have been fine. I just rolled my eyes at that entire scene when I saw it. Silly doesn't begin to describe how awful that was.
I get that the point was to have him lost in the ice so he could be frozen till modern day times. Ironically the comics did that so very much better.

In the comic yes. I was speaking about the movie.
