No its not, farming is supplying the market blue side aswell, its supply/demand.

Less items with more demand means that prices rise.
More Items with less demand means prices drop.

You want to blame anyone for the prices rising in WW it's those people who get a recipie and place it on the market at a higher value than last few sold and leave it there for a month to get the extra inf.

I'm more of a GIMMIENAO !!! type gal, so i always sell low, and bid high.

I am making a PvE / TF toon...
Idea is to create a pure controlling toon, that can lockdown large groups of pretty much anything.

This will be for team play and dmg doesnt really matter, although i won't be avoiding Dmg powers.

My Archery / Nrg just dinged 49 and I have used devices forever on my Ice blaster, Archery / Dev is a great set..

I would advise you take Fly, place 3 hammi's in all attacks Dmg/Acc 2 Range IO's and a Recherge IO.

Float miles out of reach and rain hundreds of deadly arrows from a safe spot.

Plus the dmg bonus u get with Ranged Shot + Targetting drone is lovely, try Munitions epic, when u hit Aim, LRM missile and Rain of Arrows you won't be dissapointed.

All snipes are 150 Range and 266 dmg unlostted. Fire is more dmg but I have mentioned Fire already.

Themeatically Assault Rifle, Archery are my preference, but S/L dmg is annoying compared to Psi.

Ok so my main PvP tank is coming along nicely. I think that it will be finished by monday night, "hopefully".

However, I had a blaster before with a Snipe power, which was a load of fun in Zones.

I wanted to create a pure sniping toon, themeatically I think it would be great fun.

So, for Zonal PvP sniping...
What sets would be best, I have been toying with -

Assault Rifle / Devices
Assault Rifle / Nrg
Archery / Devices
Archery / Nrg
Psi / Devices
Psi / Nrg

I want to avoid Fire as I don't like how the power leaves a burning trail back to the hidden sniper, oO

Any ideas, and power slotting that would work best? I was thinking 3 Dmg/Acc Hammi's + rangeIO, +RechIO +IntterupIO

Any suggestions please?


Oh and would Surveillance be of any use from Epic power?

Or if not a full build can anyone suggest what powers to slot the pvp io's to make the most of them...

There are enough filters, restrictions, can'ts and don'ts in this game already without the playerers taking it upon themselves to also join the self promoted Fcc of the forum group.

Res maybe isn't the way to go, perhaps a balance of both worlds is the only way I can get my beloved FF to be a contender in i13+ PvP.

Would i be better with a FF Controller for the Epic shield ?

I am now thinking perhaps Sonic / Psi would be better, woud Tough / Sonic Dispersion and Mind over body give me a nice overall Res?

Or did castle **** us on that too ?

My idea was to do the following...

Zephr Flight IO = 3.13% Ranged Def x2
Coercive Conf = 5% Ranged Def
Executioner Contract = 3.13% Ranged Def
Gaussians Synch = 2.5% Ranged Def
Lockdown = 3.75 Ranged Def
Red Fortune = 2.5% Ranged Def, x4

Total Set bonus Ranged Def = 30.64%
now that will stack with Dispersion Bubble and Weave, which give = 23.06%
giving me a global def of.
53.70% Ranged Def

In PvP is this going to be enough? I assume Repulsion Field, Force Bubble and Telekin will save me from Melee attackers.

Anyone got a build for a FF / Psi / Psi Def for PvP??

Is there anything I can do to make a FF'der more survivable? I love the concept but apart from Pff your own defense is awful... All well and fine for your team mates but bit uselss when your own [censored] is in the fire.

Someone mentions Soft capping Ranged defense with IO's.. now that is a term that gets thrown about alot, so could somone also tell me W.T.F is Softcapping?,, Capping I understand, "Soft" I just don't get, o.O
