Ye, this is good for Electrifying Fences and although Ball lightning doesnt hurt as much as Fireball the immob does ok damage too and is worth the immob effect even if it is only radius of 10...

It would be if I had no choice of what and how to play, but Surprise! I do... so i'll stick to what makes me happy.

I have a fun past time, It's playing the level 50 characters that I have designed to work with all the IO's and powers that I want, very often they are designed to work perfectly as they are and all holes and gaps in powersets are filled with the set bonuses and such that are effective at that level.

For example, I want Task Force Commander accolade on my Scrapper, but I refuse to spend hours gimped just to get it...

For me, it's all about being 50, PvP, lvl 50 content and completed IO'ed builds coming together... 1-49 is not an option for me, I don't enjoy it.

Makes sense tho... can't be a villains with hero merits, that would be like buying a Zebra and calling it Spot.

Elec/Kin - Plays in the same style as the Fire/Kin only not as well, whats the point in swapping damaging primary for a set that gives you endurance when the last thing that a kinetic ever has an issue with is endurance! It's new, it's shiny, it's fun, but it is most definatley not the best farming set.

Elec/Elec Blaster - Messy... primary is poor for AoE damage and the single target attacks inbetween hurt you more in the way of endurance and animation time than what the target actually takes in the form of -hp. Secondary is a nice set for a few reasons, lightning field as a PbAoe... a + Endurance power very often helps and as a blaster Ice Mastery gives you S/L def and a heal, so it's a good plan just the primary that lets it down.
Oh, and the reason i say messy is with all that Pbao fear, knockback from Thunderstrike etc you are gonna scatter groups like a bull in a china shop.

TA/Arch - Farming is about efficiency, and although TA is a nice farm hand, it's not a farmer in it'self... no heal, no +recovery or endurance powers unless you take elec mastery and then your shield is res based, and with no heal that farm will finish very quickly, and not the way you want.

Other alternatives... (i am aware there are alot more, but my personal choice withing the guidlines you have given would be one of the following)

Fire / Psi / Fire - Dominator

Plant / Psi / Fire - Dominator

Fire Melee / Shield / Fire - Scrapper (Crit chance helps alot)

Fire Melee / Shield / Fire - Brute (Fury helps alot)

Elec Melee / Shield / Fire - Scrapper (Crit chance helps alot)

Elec Melee / Shield / Fire - Brute (Fury helps alot)

Elec Melee / Fire Armour / Fire - Scrapper (Crit chance helps alot)

Elec Melee / Fire Armour / Fire - Brute (Fury helps alot)

Fire Melee / Fire Armour / Fire - Scrapper (Crit chance helps alot)

Fire Melee / Fire Armour / Fire - Brute (Fury helps alot)

A 35 A-Merit pvp io, 35 x 50 Reward Merits = 1750

35 x 20 Million = 700

So for 1 pvp IO you need 1750 Reward Merits and 700 Million inf ! !
Not to mention in takes 35 days to buy!

It's the seller that sets the price... not the buyer. I can make an offer on an Apoc Proc for 50Mil... doesn't mean I'll ever get it.
