Quote:I think maybe you misunderstood my intent there.Shouldn't you be bumping your own thread forty three times in one day?
Yeah, we had some folks make some very creative use of the costume creator.
You'll have fun with that one. -

Quote:1) I use the Achilles Heel Resistance proc and the Devastation: Chance for Hold. I think they both help Acid Mortar a great deal.I'm planning out my Traps/Sonic Def. Just need a name and I'll be good to go. In the meantime, I have a few questions.
1) - For Acid Mortar, is it worth it to slot the Achilles Heal - Resistance proc to it?
2) - If I take the concealment pool power Grant Invisibility, and use it to make my FF generator invisible, will that make it less likely for enemies to attack it, or does it make any difference?
3) - Do Seeker Drones and Triage Beacon make a lot of difference? I'm thinking maybe I might skip them to make room for pools.
2) Never tried that.
3) Seeker Drones are a great way to soak up an alpha strike. I usually lead with them and then run in. I think Triage Beacon is worth using in an AV fight (double stacked) or any long fight. The extra regen certainly doesn't hurt. -

I can't remember who it was, but a one point someone suggested a bomb that would work like a Claymore mine.
One toggle click would arm it. A detoggle would detonate.
I realize that would require a new mechanic, but I always thought that was a neat idea. -

The Ace of Swords.
All of my characters end up being Pulp or Golden Age. A world-class athlete and swordsman, Fletcher Carlisle was one on the initial crop of heroes inspired by Statesman.
I love the name, concept and costume.
He's been a Tanker, a Scrapper, a Stalker and a Brute each multiple times. Dual Blades/something. I just can't seem to find the right AT for him. -
I had to miss the "Attack of the Clowns" last night.
I'm anxious to see what Goat posts for the winners.
Our next costume contest will be Monday, August 8th at 10 P.M. Eastern in Galaxy City, Freedom Court.
The theme will be: "The Beetle Invasion," so come in your best insect themed costume.
As always, there will be the CC and trivia with over 350 million influence in prizes! -
I have an Illusion/TA posted here: http://www.herodawn.com/forums/topic...row-controller
Fair warning though: I don't claim to be an expert. -
Just a couple more hours until "Attack of the Clowns!"

The August issue of Rogue Magazine is out and it is amazing work as usual.

Come join us for the Fashion Show and stay for the Hero Dawn CC.
Your character could be appearing in the pages of Rogue! -
I tend to slot for -ToHit.
I use Darkest Night as well.
I like Fearsome Stare for the -ToHit when I'm on a team because I don't need to worry about losing my anchor or having it detoggle. -
Reminder: Tonight is the night for our "Attack of the Clowns" CC in the Skyway AE building's quiet room. That's going to be at 10 P.M. Eastern.
As always, we will have the CC and Trivia with over 350 million inf in prizes.
Come join us! -
That character's name is RularuuÂ’s Witness.
I don't know the global. Pretty unique use of the costume creator for sure. -

Reminder: There's just a few more days to prepare for "The Attack of the Clowns."
Monday, August 1st at 10 P.M. Eastern in the quiet room of the Skyway City AE Building.
Come as your best clown, joker, jester, mime, etc.
As usual, there will be the CC and trivia with prizes totaling at least 350 million influence.
We hope to see you there. -
Traps here as well.
I've also been running a Dark Miasma/Assault Rifle (currently level 44) that is a lot of fun.
I only have one concern with playing a Defender: I sometimes worry that we make the other ATs feel bad about themselves. -
I play a Traps/DP/Mace Mastery Defender.
There's a high level of satisfaction that comes with stepping into a crowd that has been thoroughly debuffed by x2 Acid Mortar, gassed with Poison Trap and demoralized by caltrops.
Then I drop Hail of Bullets right in the middle of them.
I still smile every time.
I agree that Assault Rifle with Ignite, Flame Thrower and maybe Full Auto if you're feeling mean is also a thing of beauty. -

I use Avast, because I like it for the boot scan.
I also have the free version of Malwarebytes for a second opinion if I think I have a virus, but Avast comes up clean.
