Should it really be this hard to get tip missions? Having to kill hundreds of mobs just to get one tip mission? Is this system designed this poorly that its only for the power players that farm hundreds upon hundreds of mobs and not for the casual player? It seems like it could be a nice system but at the rate the tip missions drop I am about ready to give up on it. please increase the drop rate.

Cool thanks for the info. I think I maybe having a problem with vista and it not working. I put a bunch of silencing files in place but it seems like I am still hearing the sounds. has anyone had problems with this and vista?

I have enjoyed playing both, but I would really like to be able to create a 2nd or 3rd epic costume for them.. please let us use the epic costume parts on other costume slots..

Did anyone figure out the annoying peacebringer loop sounds? when running shining shield and stuff?
Peacebringer: fly, shield loops, dwarf attacks (the continuous hum/whine, not just the peaceeyes1.ogg activation) -
I11 is looking to be a great issue and alot of stuff that everyone has been asking for in it.. But I hate to be a thorn in your side statesman, but I don't see anything about Nictus for Villains listed.. Hopefully this was just an oversite, and they will be coming soon (tm) (I12 plz).. thanks.

Did this patch turn off the invasion? the first day or so I would see zone after zone getting hit, now I hardly ever see a zone being attacked. It seems like you went from one extreme to the next.. too bad you couldnt find the happy medium.

I don't know if it was mentioned, but I didn't see it anywhere..
Do the new drops work differently than current salvage, IE: to get salvage, you have to be in SG mode. which is lame in my opinion, since people not in SG's can't get salvage.
So please tell me that these new loot drops just drop like enhancements do and peoeple don't have to be in SG mode.
It would be nice if you changed it for normal salvage as well, since the majority of people I know drop out of SG mode around lvl 30 when it really starts cutting into your Infamy/Influence gains. -
I think one thing that would go along way to helping players earn prestige is to eliminate the reduction of Inf at lvl 25.. Why should we to make a choice between Inf and prestige just because we are now at lvl 25.

I do beleive that bases are way to expensive.. I have a small VG, and its taken us a very very long time to get a funcational base. We just finally placed our 7th room for the vault and now need to place the 8th as well. but that will probably be a ways off.. this is after they have been out for a year?? thats crazy, granted we haven't been playing for a few months of that year, but still, its taken us a long long time to get a working base. And now to keep up with the rent, its getting harder and harder. It seems that we just pay the rent and then it is due again. I see several things you could do to make this better, 1) remove base rent or cut it down to 75% of what it is now. or 2) remove the infamy/influence reduction at lvl 25. why do we have to choose between making prestige or making inf?
I have always wondered why you came up with prestige for base funds, why have two seperate money values in a game? wouldnt it be better to just use infamy/influence to pay for bases? I played UO for 5 years and they have had houses for a long long time and you can fully customize a house in that game and all it costs is the same old gold you get in game.

Costume changes come with a minimal cost that no one really complains about, but we complain about the costs of bases. I would be happy if you would just fix the bug that when i goto the tailor, select any costume, and go to edit it, and everything is changed. it doesnt keep my costume that i select, it does some random piece selection. so then i have to change everything back to how i had it if i want to make one small change.. this has been going on for a while now and it would be nice if you all fixed it.

Well I must say this just blows! I did the moonfire TS right when striga came out on my main char, amassed a hugh amount of debt in the process, had alot of fun, but to spend another 4 hrs to re-do that TF on that char is uncalled for. I just wont do it, so I hope down the road that you take this into consideration again if you decide to make a new AT only available to people who have completed all the Task Forces as has been mentioned as one possible way.
Just another nail in the coffin.

I dont know if this falls under mission customization, but it would be nice if there was an option to abandon a story arch. I have had this happen with numerous chars, and I will switch contacts as I go up in levels only to realize later that I never finished a story arch and I cannot get any new ones until I have completed an old one. this is usually after I am 5+ lvls above the villians in the missons. It would be nice to be able to just abandon the old one to get a new one, instead of having to run through x missions for 0 experience to just complete the arch..
Oh and I couldnt find a place to put this, how about increasing the amount of influence that can be transfered. -
HAHAHAHAHA.. you call this changes for ice tanker? is the accuracy change only for ice tankers or for everyone? Have you even played an ice/ice tanker or let alone a */ice tanker? Ice melee is the WEAKEST tanker melee set, its like slapping around villians compared to others that actually hit. It does very little damage even with the boost you gave in i4. Plus the ice defense is crap to begin with and then you lower it more. this just adds more evidence that you DON'T play the game you created.

Well thank you for placing the last nail in the coffin. The mob scatter effect currently on live is bad enough for burn, and now you take its teeth out and make us gum villians to death. [censored]. Have you even looked at the damage the ice melee does? its so freakin minimal, the only way to make ice melee worth while for a tanker is too use the fire primary just for burn so you can actually do some damage. You all should give everyone an AT respec now that you have screwed over everything. We should be given an option to re-choose our primary and secondary sets after this POS goes live. No I dont mean change from tanker to scrapper, but I would like to be able to drop ice melee now that burn is ruined and I can do no damage with ice since its utter crap.
Or maybe you all just want everyone to leave. wtg if thats your plan. -
I noticed when I logged in with my lvl 50 regen char that I had a couple new badges, but even after looking at the description for them in the list I still had no idea as to why I had gotten the new badges or what they were for in the first place. The description was to vague to tell me. I also noticed a badge is now available for completing the moonfire TF, which I had done after striga was released but it says I didnt complete it. So I am guessing there was nothing keeping track of this so Now I will have to complete that TF again.
I beleive Cryptic should add an official badge list to the website so we can see and tell in more detail as to what the badges are all about. thanks -

Thanks for the update and the change. I think this will be a great change for the mission slider.
There does seem something fishy about the mission difficulty slider thought. I was working on my level 15 Inv tanker. I had the mission difficulty set to the middle one and was having a great time. I get a mission for kings row to recover the secret power supply thingy from the clockwork. I go in and right away I run into Bababoom. The clockwork boss. He is Level 17 boss. I was not in a team, and like i said i had the diff slider in the middle. I didn't expect to see a lvl 17 boss. The bosses I had run into on the previous missions were always lvl 15 i believe. 16 tops. needless to say I couldnt kill him solo, so i had to go out, drop the slider down to the bottom and then re-start the mission and he was a lvl 15 boss. Just thought I would share that.

Hey I know I'm still new to this game, and have only been playing it for 4 weeks now. But I just love it and love the attention that the Dev Team is giving to this game. This game is great, and let me say it pulled me away from UO which I had been playing for 5 years. Keep up the good work. Thanks for a great game. I can't wait to see what the future brings (CoV in mind).
