Last time I checked there were PLENTY of players in that zone. It's not like it doesn't get used in its current incarnation.

And there's the reason why it's getting revamped.

I've actually had more time with an inactive account than with an active account over the last three years. I come back once in a while to see if the game's gotten better, but only because it's the only superhero MMO. As soon as they lost that monopoly, I doubt I'll even come back to check things out if they do add PC.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Keep in mind that the new superhero MMO is being brought to you by the same team that made this game. There were a lot of promises made about this one too, that never happened.

    Just something to think about.

The worst thing for NCNC will be that even if they do get PC implemented they'll likely want to charge for it...and since relatively easy items that we used to get for free like costumes and emotes cost $10 now, I figure PC will be $20-30.

So even if they somehow get it done close to the release of CO, you'll have 2 choices:

    1) Pay for PC in a game where you've pretty much exhausted all the content

    2) Pay for a brand new game with PC, lots of new features and a mass of unexplored content.

I'm not sure there's a "win" in this anywhere for NCNC.

So they charge for nice small prestige bonus pack once, and now you think they're going to charge for every little thing? Man, kids these days...

    wedding footage

Yay, I'm in there! Thanks for grabbing this one.
  4. I took a bunch of pics of the wedding and the antics of AP1 (and a couple of AP4, which was much more civilized). Check 'em out here. Thanks for the awesome event, devs and mods!
  5. Just remember folks, that if they allowed you to log into overloaded servers, it wouldn't be playable anyway. You would be lagging, rubberbanding, mapserving, and disconnecting every 5 seconds. In instanced missions. While soloing. And then the server will explode and suffer hardware meltdown and you won't be able to log in for a week because they'll have to replace the entire server farm.
  6. Activate Fly (or Hover, it seems to work with that one too) and press R to move forward automatically. Then type /em flypose1 (there are four different poses, just change the number at the end to 1-4) and it will change your pose.

You can bind this to any key you want, too. ParagonWiki explains how you can bind it in their Flight pose guide.
  7. There are already flypose emotes in the game. Try flypose1 through 4 while moving in flight. It's not perfect but it does give you some choice.
  8. I think your chatbot has been assimilated by Arachnos.

Me: Do you know Lord Recluse?
    CT: That's gross.
Me: Yeah, he is pretty gross. Are you working for him?
    CT: I know...
    Me: Oh, so you are?
    CT: Yeah...
  9. I'm guessing that Nemesis rises up, and we have a time travel story. This could also signal the "return" of the 5th Column, because it's very possible that in the alternate reality created by the time travel, they were never overthrown by the Council.

I'm just alittle buit depressed, why are there no acual Aliens, always Alternet humans... the only ONLY aliens we have are the Keldians, and the use humans as hosts, so with a merger they are techniclly just modified humans.. it's just not fair ... humans suck =-)

    You forgot the Rularuu?

    And Shivans.

My suggestions about the Admin spam messages.

Is there anyway to filter them on dev-side? So only Heroes get Hero alerts and Villains get Villain alerts? Also having them come during an indoor mission is fairly pointless.

    [/ QUOTE ]

The alerts coming from both sides is helpful, at least for me, because I can hop back and forth on my toons on both sides to get the invasion badges. It's also nice to know while you're in an indoor mission. That mission isn't going anywhere, but those dang Rikti don't hang around all day! :P

My bad, but i knew rage was a drug, just slipped my mind who know it.

The important thing was that Heroes used to pop them too

    [/ QUOTE ]

On a related note, Did You Know that, in the Villain-side tutorial, when one of the contacts gives you a mission to get Superadine from Mr. Verde, he actually gives you a Damage enhancement? I always thought it was funny to think that enhancements were really just drugs.
  13. Every time I go into Pocket D it's saddening to see it so desolate, except for the occasional hero/villain wandering in to buy something. I'll sometimes go in there and just hang around, but it's dead on most of the servers. Special events seem to spice up the place a bit and make people show up, but that seems to only last for the duration of the event, and then it's right back to normal. It's strange that the population hasn't taken to Pocket D as opposed to say, standing around under Atlas statue. Maybe it's not accessible enough for low-level characters who just want to socialize?

    Did you know...

There used to be some nearly impossible to find mission doors due to a navigation bug? One such door was underneath a basketball court in the SW corner of Brickstown (/loc of 367.2 -30.6 2280.1, if you'd like to check it out). The bug was that for some reason, perhaps because it was located below some minimum terrain threshhold, it produced no beacon to follow in your navigation window, and by guesstimating using your map, it lead you to an empty basketball court. Only by noticing the narrow, fenced-in ramp adjacent to the court could you find the mission. Occasionally, you could find several toons just meandering about this basketball court unable to find their mission . I'm pretty sure this was fixed (or that door is no longer used, perhaps), although I can't recall the specifics of how or when.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I realize that this post was made well over a year ago, but I just had a radio mission at this door on my toon, and I was running all over the place trying to find a way down there. It wasn't until after I'd almost given up that I'd found the ramp that leads under the court.
